Günstige Lage zur Hauptsehenswürdigkeit der Stadt, ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten hinter dem Hotel (kostenlos). Saubere Zimmer.

Zimmergröße und Ausstattung: bescheiden bis Durchschnitt. Ebenso bescheidener Service. Charme vergangener Jahre. Empfehlen würde ich das Hotel nur mit einigen Vorbehalten.

Very cozy and clean rooms, nice restaurant, great location (almost the center of Savonlinna, 9 kms to Ruunarinteet downhill skiing center, some minutes walk from Olavinlinna castle etc.).

Inspite of the fact that room was in a non-smoking part, there always was a smell of a tobacco smoke

High price of the room, as in the rest of Finland.

The hotel has a good location, the room calm and quiet, the breakfast was delicious, the choice of food is small, but sufficient.

The rooms are small, not clean, dust in corners and closets. Liquid soap over.

The room was comfortable and clean. The male chef was very friendly and cooked us a great dinner one evening. His own home brew dark beer was terrific and was very much appreciated.

We thought that it was perhaps a little bit expensive given that we were staying out of season. However, we still enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

The hotel is very cosy and clean. Free parking space is really a great benefit. The breakfast is rich and the reasturant is generally nice and cosy. The range of food offered isn't numerous but everything is tasty and high quality. The staff is very friendly! Olavinlinna Castle is about 7 mins walk away.

I like this hotel. Its main advantage - it is certainly the location - near the castle Olavinlinna. And yet - lovely breakfasts - different and very tasty. Also there is free parking in the back yard. The rooms are small (but this is typical for Finland) and clean. The windows looked out on the street, but there wasn't noisy at night.

The family room is perfectly designed, toilet and bathroom are split with too different doors. The beds are quite comfortable. We spent two absolutely nice quiet nights with my sons. The hotel is very quiet. There's a bowling in the basement but it is only open until 21:00 so it is not a problem for the tight sleep. On the other hand you may play bowling which we did with great pleasure. The restaurant is very cosy and homelike, the breakfast is typical but very nice. There was an omlet which I personally like very much but not every hotel serves it. There's a K-market right across the road that works until 22:00. Olavinlinna castle is not far. So we are absolutely satisfied with our stay.

Older style Finnish hotel. Dormitory-style rooms, but clean and functional...Decent buffet style breakfast.

No wifi in rooms...Very slow computer in lobby. Hotel places charges on minor items such as printing out a page from house computer, use of sauna (10€) and such...

All was adiquate to price and the aim of my family trip

I like the location - close to the railway station, market place and shops, and the Olavinlinna Castle. The restaurant is good and conveniently open from the early morning until late at night. The service is excellent with the friendly staff. The hotel also has air-conditioning that is OK, although not quite efficient enough. It helps, though. The rooms are small and lack an armchair but the small refrigarator is nice to have.

On arrival first impression was that the Hotel looked tired and and in need of a face lift.The staff on reception were quite pleasent. Our double room was actually a single room with a double bed.This was obvious by the fact the bed side light was on a side wall no where near the bed. Yes we did have a fridge and desk but this left very little room to move around.generally the room didn,t feel clean.The bathroon left a lot to be desired. The shower , washbasin and floor looked dirty and we only used the basin.One small mirror and that was over the wash basin a wardrobe full of bedding and only a rail 1/2 mtr in length for clothes.We asked to change but no other room was availableThe manager was not on duty till 7.00am the next day,so we made an appointment to see her.The hotel was very cheap looking and of poor quality. Doors made of thin wood and walls you could hear other guests through. We didnt sleep feeling it was not clean and promptly went to see the manager as soon as we could.She offered us nothing more than 10% discount but just explained that as it was opera time and all hotels would be full.We fortunatly did find another hotel of 4* quality .for a very similar price.To sum up 135 euros a night for a hotel like the Pietari was totally unacceptable and think it should be looked at before offering it to other guests . Our room was no 201.

The hotel is situated on the main street, it's quite easy to find it. The family room is spacious, with big amount of furniture. In fact, there are four beds. Main places of interest are in working distance.

There is deficency of two road signs. First, the turn to the hotel must be marked on route 14 and not only in Finnish. The same rule for the sign, which must show the way for parking place for hotel guests.

The staff was very friendly.

My room was cleaned not every day.

Conditioner makes much noize and can not switch it off.

расположение отеля: при въезде в город и недалеко от крепости олавинлинна, в отеле есть боулинг и сауна за доп.плату, в ресторане можно пообедать и поужинать - меню на русском языке вывешено прямо в лифте. вкусный разнообразный завтрак. приветливый персонал, уютный интерьер в ресторане и холле, в номере телевизор (5 каналов на русском языке), холодильник. в трехместном номере двуспальная кровать и большой диван для взрослого члена семьи. бесплатная парковка. мы остались довольны пребыванием в этом отеле. и очень понравился город савонлинна, по бесплатному буклету совершили самостоятельно пешеходную экскурсию по достопримечательностям города.

не оказалось в номере мыльных принадлежностей, но мы не стали спрашивать, т.к. в дорожной сумке у нас всегда есть мыло и гель.

Понравилось расположение отеля в городе: одна из центральных улиц, крепость рядом. Завтрак классический (не убавить - не прибавить).

Хотелось бы чайник в номере (в некоторых отелях есть такое). Нет бесплатного интернета в номере!

дизайнерский интерьер, доброжелательный русскоязычный персонал.отличный завтрак - шведский стол. до замка Olavinlinna 5 минут пешком. есть своя парковка.
