The building is modern and centrally placed in Helsinki. The breakfast was very versatile and generous and bears comparison with other top hotels in Helsinki and internationally. The grand piano (Samick) was in tune and fairly new. The staff were very helpful. Ice available in corridor. The beds were long, wide and soft. There was even tea and coffee available in the room which was by the way spacious. |

Location, location, and location. The restaurant was surprisingly good, too. My room was not ready until 3.30pm and the staff paid little attention to this fact. Besides, sas bar ran out of cider by midnight even though it is not exactly the most crowded watering hole in Helsinki. |

Location was great, only a few minutes walk to town and many cafes and restaurants, style of room, price. The breakfast - one of the best I have had in Finland. Helpful staff as I had to cancel one night due to an airline strike in another country. Will definitely stay there again |

In general Royal Helsinki is really good hotel and can guess that everyone who stay there will be satisfied. Hotel stuff really friendly. Incredibly comfortable beds. Location excellent - in real center of Helsinki I expected this hotel to be much 'royal'... |

This hotel is situated really good. Near to all the attractive places. The smell in the toilet was akin to smell in a public toilet. The room smelled of cigaret somke. |

Very comfortable room, well equipped...and the only one with an espresso machine! Very basic eating options other than breakfast. A little more flexibility by the staff would be welcome. I requested a late check out; was offered 30 minutes grace beyond 12 noon. And that was over a weekened when the hotel was far from full. |

Very conveniently situated close to the shops and other attractions in the city centre. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. No security on entering the dining area for breakfast - anyone could come in. |

This hotel is fabulous! We stayed in a Superior room, and it was spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom. The room was very quiet, the beds extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, markets and restaurants just across the street, the Helsinki waterfront a 15 minute leisurely walk, and trams come right to the door if you need them. The sauna is a nice added touch, too! The breakfast, which was included for us, had a great variety and plenty of food. |

The room was big and very quiet. The beds were excellent. Breakfast was good, there were also organic choices. Breakfast room was very crowded. The furniture in the room would need a freshing up. |
