Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel, Helsinki  

The architecture of the hotel - it is built in an old cheese factory. The helpfulness of the staff - they offered us early check-in at 10:00 AM. The spacious rooms. The breakfast - tasty. The free-to-rent bicycles.

Staff was good

Location was not great. Did not need a business hotel Room a little small

The location is great - 10/15 minutes walking distance to city center and a tram stop just in front. Easy access to the airport. Excellent Buffet Breakfast. Room very clean and comfortable, guarantee of a pleasant stay. Excellent mattress.

As it is a 4 stars hotel, the TV could have more international options.

Good breakfast Late check-out (at about 5 p.m.) was accepted without extra-charge It was very silent in our room - we didn't hear traffic or our neighbors at all

Location was the main disadvantage - too far from the center if you are planning to walk

Staff is very friendly and helpfull, provided us with sea-view room as requested; Breakfast is great; sauna facilities are also very nice to have

Room should be cleaned better and more often (windows, curtains, covers, carpet look like are not cleaned during a long time...)

I always disagree the way booking.com calculates the overal score, so don't mind it in my review. The hotel is good, I have no complains, but not best sittuated.

Toothbrush in 4 star hotel is a must!

Quiet location but only a 15 minute stroll to the centre. Good breakfast and coffee/tea making facilities in room plus a microwave. Every thing clean and fuctional as you would expect from a Finnish hotel.

Keycards played up a little bit,very minor but need to moan about something.

Convinient and spacious family rooms. Very good breakfast. Nice self- service coffee zone in the lobby. Huge swinging sofa in the lobby giving a lot of fun to kids

The hotel is extremely clean, great breakfast. I had to check out very early and I was offered a quick breakfast! very helpful. The stop for Tram No 6 is right opposite the hotel and Tram No 9 stops a couple of steps away. And both takes you to the centre of the city in 10 minutes.

Its very close to the shopping area, seaside parks, bars and clubs - about 1km walking distance.

Breakfast

Excellent facilities overall for business and pleasure. Buffet breakfast and lunch contained a huge variety of hot and cold foods. The rooms were on the small-ish size but had everything: flat screen telly, free and fast wifi, iron, hairdryer, kettle, minibar, and variety of linens and pillows available. The business meeting rooms were equally well kitted out, and catered for regularly.

There is a small exercise room on site which was very handy but it has a limited number of machines: 1 treadmill, 1 bike, 1 stair climber, 1 elliptical trainer. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the onsite sauna :-( My room had carpet but there are rooms with wooden floors so ask for one facing the water.

I booked during special promotion period and the value is higher than expected. There' is many variety in the breakfast and taste good. Great location for interconnecting Terminal D and city center via Tram no.9

Staff is not very helpful but acceptable. It's a bit old and not clean in the room but acceptable.

We travelled with very young child (6 months old) and everything was good for such case. We came to the hotel earlier and the next day we should stay longer and that was not a problem! Thank you very much! Also the tea facilities in the room is a good thing, the weather was rather cold and we drank hot tea when come back from the walk

bathroom and toilet was broken. bath could go either under the hot, either under cold water. Breakfest was good, but in anothers RADISSON bLU are better

The staff was most helpful. At the reception desk Elina Hakkanen patiently and pleasantly assisted me with many travel details. In the dining room my sister and I had a lovely conversation with Sari. The location of the hotel was perfect for our departure on the ferry to St. Petersburg and to access the road out of the city when we rented a car.

We liked everything about our stay.

Bad cleaning room, bad and expensive restaurant

very nice and reasonable location (city center, SPA / welness / aquapark not far away). perfect family rooms, comfortable parking

poor restaurant menu (even though the food itself is tasty), almost nothing for the kids. absolute lack of any toys in the room (all the photos contain "toy corner" in the family room). parking seems to be a bit too expensive
