location is good
dirty rooms, untasty breaskfast
The size of the room is huge! The hotel is located within a walking distance from the main shopping centers downtown Helsinki. Also two tram lines stop in front of the hotel, so really easy access to different parts of the town!
Car parking is rather expensive, but I guess it's the same everywhere in Helsinki.
Friendly helpful staff. Unique room layout. Close to the docks. Good breakfast.
the view the breakfast
They don´t have microwave They don´t have hair dryer
breakfast is good from what we had seen staying there for 1 night, some stuff was really friendly, some were really not...
clean? I suppose it would do, better then some other"good" hotels in helsinki, its an ok hotel, dont expect much
Staff from front desk as well as the breakfast service were professionals. Very accommodating, professional and attentive
It's close proximity to the Ferry a Terminal was a plus and the convenient tram stop outside the hotel.
There were not too many amenities like good restaurants and shops outside the hotel.
beds comfortable - an amazing breakfast with lots of choice - location fine.
we arrived at 3am and were told that the twin room we booked wasnt available but after i complained another was found for us but we had to swap rooms the next day. Turned out second room was much nicer than first but was still an unnecessary hassle.
only 10min walk to ferry terminal as i wanted. staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was good.
Room was a bit small even for a single traveller. wouldn't want to have to share it. not in centre but tram right outside and takes 5mins aprox.
-Room was very spacious, apparently we had a special-access room. -Perfectly located for catching a ferry from the West Harbour -Breakfast buffet was extensive and well-organised despite the hotel being full.
-We had booked a double-bed but received two singles and couldn't be changed. Apparently this was a result of booking via booking.com as the bed preferences weren't passed to the hotel. -No temperature controls in the room. It was cold and we couldn't do anything about it. -Hairs on all the spare pillows. -We were in our room until 11.30am and then out for the rest of the day. Obviously we missed the available cleaning slot and when we got back late at night no one had been in to clean or replenish the room. -Kitchen closes at 11pm and after that only cold food is available. -To use the TV you have to navigate far too many menus and it was very unresponsive
Awesome Breakfast (except the fake scrambled eggs), excellent wifi
Quiet, away from city center, but within walking distance. Close proximty to port to catch Tallinn ferry.
Reception very helpful and friendly, but understaffed.
- friendly personnel - tasty breakfast
- the description and pictures of the room did not match the reality - cold room - no heating in the bathroom - very old and dirty bathroom equipment and plumbing - weak wifi signal - no air conditioner and no way to open the windows - price/conditions value is a way to low for the 4 star hotel
The super confy bed. There was a misunderstaidng in my booking and at check-in I was just about to be given a single bed room, when I had booked a double bed standard room. At check-in the staff has been more than kind and generous to give me a family room as the double standard room had already been given away.
Good wide choice at breakfast, all good. The quality of the hot food could be improved. But good overall.
Good location for our purpose
Very bad bed and pillow. I stay weekly at hotels but seldom have this bad experience. Also service from reception unpolite.
Walking distance to city center, walking to eateries, cultural landmarks and entertainment. Restaurant had quality food and service with friendly staff. Had a suite so LOVED the spa/sauna in off the bathroom. Perfect rest and location for the price.
Well, its not really by the seaside, its across from a boat harbour so if you want to be on the waterfront, its a hike on foot or quick taxi ride away.
Convenient to transport (Trams 9 and 6). Nice sized room.
Excellent breakfast Great view on the port Good standing of the room
We can't open the windows. The bed was quite lax. Not enough free bikes available, we couldn't use any. No metro station really close from the hotel, but a tramway station.
Room was a good size
servise at breakfast was poor (no one helps upon arrival to find a table, no one brinfgs coffee etc. hotel will not lend an adaptor for an english plug! They will only sell one for Euro 16.
close to city but away from the crowd. two trams wait to drop you in the city centre in 5 minutes close to ferry harbour
same breakfast on both days
The staff was very friendly and attentive (reception, breakfast, housekeeping).
Wi-fi did not work properly in the room. Breakfast was the same every morning.
Friendly staff. Able to check out late, till 2pm, with no trouble at all. Nice and quite area. Close to city centre, about 20 minute walk.
Even though the breakfast was very reasonable, the large number of guests staying in the hotel meant that at times the breakfast seating area was extremely busy and difficult to get a seat. The staff need to clean away the tables a lot quicker when people leave. Price of the mini bar was crazy but I guess this is Finland.
Rooms were basic but ok. Clean, ok beds. Good bathroom products! Nice staff and easily located for centre. Trams do stop about midnight and it's about €15 for a taxi back.
Pillows weren't comfortable but were ok.
good bed, quiet room, helpful reception
Breakfast: too busy, no space to sit, dry tasteless bread, terrible coffee
