On a stunning riverside location in the center of Rovaniemi, Rantasipi Pohjanhovi is close to the Ounasvaara ski slopes, the Santa Claus Village and the Arktikum Science Centre and Museum. The area offers adventures such as snowmobile rides, dog sledding, skating and cross-country skiing in winter. During the summer, why not try river-boat safaris, canoeing, backpacking or fishing. Breakfast is served at the Pohjanhovi restaurant, complemented by enchanting views of the Kemijoki River. Located very close both to the city center and the river. The bus to Santa Park and Santa Claus Village starts from the nearest bus stop. The Lapland Safaris office is next door. A very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Tasty breakfast and dinner. A very good sauna and swimming pool.

Sijainti. Mahdollisuus saunoa päivittäin. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Uimavesi oli todella kylmä. Usea ihminen ei tarennut mennä veteen ja saunan lämpötilaa voisi hiukan laskea, koska oven vieressä mittari näytti yli 80 kumpanakin päivänä.

Ystävällinen ja auttavainen henkilökunta -Huoneessa oli huono ilma ja todella kuuma -ulkoa kuului yökerhon meteli oli hyvin häiritsevä -käytävältä kuului äänet ihan kuin olisi samassa huoneessa.. -Mainostettii lentokentäkuljetusta hotellilta, mutta kun yritin tilata niin ei voitu antaa tarkkoja hintatietoja

Hotellissa on ihan oma tunnelma, koska se ei ole mikään uudenaikainen tusinahotelli, vaan vanha arvostettu ja hienolla paikalla jokirannassa, etenkin kesäisin. Olemme käyneet hotellissa kymmenen vuoden ajan viettämässä joskus tanssiviikonloppua ja ikävä kyllä paikka on mennyt alaspäin. Tanssit alkavat aivan liian myöhään ja parketti on muutettu huonomman malliseksi. Myös aamiainen huonontunut.
