This peaceful hotel is next to Urho Kekkonen National Park, less than a 30 minute drive from Ivalo Airport. Guests enjoy free sauna facilities and access to cross-country skiing tracks. The rooms at Santa's Hotel Tunturi feature satellite TV, a tea/coffee maker and access to a shared ski maintenance room with drying cupboard. Some rooms have a private sauna and a balcony. All guests can use the general sauna for free in the evenings. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby at Santa's Hotel. Other facilities include a pool table, darts and board games. - very good breakfast - clean and tidy - spacious room - lovely sauna - we found the bath tub a bit clumsy, would have rather liked showers, slippery to climb to the tub for a shower

If you want to have a drink at the bar in the evening the hotel is charging € 3,- /person and day for the cloakroom. As all the rooms are located in other buildings and you probably won't go to the main building without a jacket at -10°c this is a mean rip off, not indicated on the website of the hotel. All in all it's not a good idea that all the rooms are located at 50 - 100 m distance from the main building and you always have to wear a jacket and cap to go to breakfast of to other meals. Sauna times are very strangely planned as well. You may have sauna in one building from 3 - 6 pm, then walk naked through the snow and have sauna in another building from 6 - 9 pm... No common sauna for men/women. The 70-ies ambience and live music in the bar will fill your heart with deep depression... My recommendation: Please avoid! There are better hotels in this category at Saariselkä!

This is a very big hotel with several buildings. Our room was with a sauna and a great view of the nearby hills, and we loved it. The breakfast was nice. Internet connection was really good. We were in Saariselka only for a night in the middle of August, where there was not much people around. Our room was in one of the buildings in which they did not have any personnel at that time of the year in the reception. The lights in our room except the bathroom and entrance were not working, as well as the heating. It was about 6-7 C degrees at night and we could not turn the heating on. The staff in the reception (in the main building) came, she checked and said it is broken and offerred another room. But we already turned on the sauna and did not want to wait for the sauna in the other room. Maintanence did not really seem to work well during summer time.

Erinomainen sijainti hiihtolatujen vieressä, suksien huoltotila, vaatteiden kuivaushuone ja sauna. Aamiainen suht.hyvä. Hinta-laatusuhde oli ainakin huhtikuun lopulla kohdallaan. Huoneen siivous piti olla joka toinen päivä, mutta unohtui. Menimme sunnuntaina ja keskiviikkona huomautin kun oli roskat koko ajalta viemättä.

Gielaksessa oli loistavat tarjoilijat, erityisen hyvä tarjoilija- opiskelija. Hän hoiti hienosti tilanteen, jossa häiriköivä asiakas pyrki väärään pöytään kutsumatta. Kiitos myös respalle huoneen vaihdosta. Säät sattuivat huonot - sillehän ei voi mitään. Kuukkelilammen tilanne vaikutti ilmeiseti siihen, että Lutossakaan ei nuotiota ollut, puut olivat kuulemma märkiä.Tunturihotellin 2. kerros suljettiin, aikaisempina vuosina se on ollut auki, ja on ollut hyviä esiintyijä. Väen väheneminen huolestuttaa.

В номере чисто и аккуратно. Всё что нужно для комфортного отдыха. Отличный завтрак. Лыжня рядом. Кататься на лыжах одно удовольствие. Лыжи катят как по рельсам.

Ladulle pääsi suoraan hotellista, hyvät ladut. Hyvä aamupala Kaltiossa. Mukava huone, siistiä ja rauhallista. Puolihoitoon kuuluva päivällinen ei vastannut odotuksiani. Ruoan pitäisi olla enemmän itsetehtyä, esim. Jälkiruokaavaahdot (jauheista) pois, paahtopaisti ei ollut paahtopaistia. Ruoka ei ollut riittävän kuumaa edes ruokailun alkaessa. Lähtiessämme aamulla 28.3. vastaanotossa oleva keski-ikäinen mies ei sanonut yhtäkään ystävällistä sanaa (esim. Hyvää huomenta/kiitos / näkemiin /tervetuloa uudelleen) ja suhtaautui töykeän ivallisesti aamupalalippuja ostaville eläkeläisille. Meinasin jo sanoa suorat sanat ko. Henkilölle mutta toivottavasti nämä terveiset tulevat perille. Pilalle meni päivä ja jäi huono maku.

Beliggenhet og rom. Min far som var alene måtte betale for dobbeltrom til tross for at det ble bestilt ett enkelt rom. Denne bestillingen ble gjort over telefon og det er ikke å anbefale noen å gjøre uten å få bekreftelse sendt hjem før du reiser. Betjeningen var ikke villig til å innse at de hadde rotet noe forferdelig. Ventilasjonen hørtes forferdelig høyt på enkelte rom.

제일 비싼 동이기는 하지만 개인 사우나가 있으며 깔끔하고 벽난로가 있으며 공항에서의 버스나 스키장 셔틀이 잘되어있다.

Valitsin puolihoidon ja se oli kätevä ratkaisu. Ruuan hinta/laatu oli paikallaan. Huoneessa oli kaikki tarpeellinen. Rakennuksessa (Näätä) en keksinyt suksille muuta varastointia kuin huone. Respa ei kysymättä opastanut juuri mitään.
