The breakfast was really good! Heater in the room did not work, and the room is smaller than in the picture!

Location is good. Ten min walk to city center. Airport bus stops at hotel. House maid was poor. For example we had just one big towel in the bathroom altough we were two persons... Such little things were poor.

Regional menu Very polite sympathetic night receptionist when I called regarding over-hot room No individual heating control in rooms - had to open a window .... And in17 degrees. Slow restaurant service but with odd timing; when we did ask for extra 5 mins to consider dessert the waitress never came back! Dreadful static shocks (regardless of shoes) from lift buttons, door handles etc - appreciate this is partly atmosphere/climate but should be some way of stopping this, please!

Breakfast was great. Free wi-fi is plus. Limited access is quite comfortable. Bath instead of shower cabin is very-very big plus. Swimming pool and sauna was on the middle level - no outside terrace as it was promised on photos and description, sauna itself was not enough hot, sym devices were out of service. Room was connected by door with another room - there was a lot of noise from it. There was no bathrobes.

Adnan, Liisi and others in the front desk were great and friendly. Mr. Singh at breakfast preffered that chuck the food 2 the rubbish instead of lettinng me up to my room, but friendly.afterwards. Matti at restaurant was extremely unfriendly and told me I'm not welcome there anymore when I was upset about taking other people (russian groups!) while I was first on the que. Changeing the breakfast etc. schedule according to Russian tourist was an insult. Otherwise I am quite satisfied of my stay..

Hotel's place is good - 100 meters from the tram stop and about 1.5 km to the central railwaystation. Sauna was very poor: very small for the number of people that stay in the hotel. The second thing: queues for the breakfast - we tried different times of coming: 30 mintues after start, 1.5 hours after start and 1 hour before close - every time there were queues to grab some food and no free tables to sit, so it took from 10 to 20 minutes to find table. And the last but not the least: there were no means to dry wet clothes after rainy weather.

I like location, the atmosphere in and around the hotel, sauna - magnificent view from the window, swimming pool, friendly staff The temperature in the sauna should be higher, a lot of people visit it in the evening, used napkins were not removed from the sauna and were lying everywhere in the morning. I think there should be towels in the sauna.

“Excellent location, friendly and helpful hotel staff. Having the room on the seaside we were very satisfied to have a look at those giant boats coming and leaving several times a day. Tasteful "a la carte" dishes at the hotel restaurant, very friendly staff there. The hotel is located right next to the sea (gulf), but it is close to the city centre - you get "two in one". All in all - full satisfaction! We highly recommend this hotel. And many thanks to their receptionists...” Roman, Ostrava 1 |

“The fact that the hotel is an ex prison and there are still features of its past was a draw to choosing the hotel, it's certainly something different! The location whilst out of what you would describe the city centre didn't really matter in the end as the tram stop is right outside. All staff I approached were very helpful and pleasant. Food in the restaurant is of a good standard.” Christopher, La Oliva Fuerteventura |
