Great location and a short walk to the shops and centre of town. Not affected by traffic noise and rooms are good for the price.
room was comfortable, Í did enjoy it very much
Breakfast was boring, quality was good, but selection was similar to any cheap hotel or motel
Nice big clean room. Attentive helpful staff. Secure luggage storage post check out. Restaurant and bar excellent. Kids play area in between bar and restaurant.
toilet facilities serving lobby, bar and restaurant insufficient and at times untidy.
The room was cold
Good quality hotel for a reasonable price and in an excellent location. The rooms are very clean and the staff helpful and friendly
Position and breakfast are ok the hotel needs to be renewed + 15€ to park in the road is to much
Rooms are poor
The room was tidy. The desk, chair and wifi provided good means of doing also some work.
The room was bleak and modest. There was very little storage space for e.g. clothes - and just two hangers for two people. No coffee or tea maker in the room, or spoons etc. Two glasses, that's all. The mattresses kept sliding off of the beds. There were no extra blankets. In short, the room made me feel unwelcome in the hotel.
Modern and comfortable hotel. Walking distance to the city centre. Very efficient staff. Breakfast was exceptional. Room and beds were very comfortable.
food room staff
- Excellent breakfast - Convenient location for taking the ferry to Suomenlinna
- No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - No toiletries provided
Room was nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable. The sauna was good and nice to use before bed. The bar is good and breakfast also good.
The location is down near the marina. We arrived by the train station which is only a 20 minute or so walk, this was made harder by the cold. Not really a negative, more an inconvenience. There seemed to be a line at reception most of the time.
Stayed before morning ferry to tallin,500 metres from Viking terminal so great location for us but also only a 15 min walk to the town
Excellent facilities including sauna and gym.
It was not possible to make the reservation with the "without breakfast" option.
I booked my stay thru booking.com and I had to change the arriving day. Although the hotel had lots of rooms available, they didn't allow me to change it, so I had to pay two bookings. I talked with the duty manager and he told me that it's the hotel rules. I was not cancelling the booking, I was just postponing it and I said I would be willing to pay the extra if needed. I will never stay in this chain anymore.
Lobby. Quality of food in the Restaurant. Friendly and helpfull staff. Large selection of food, catering for all tastes at breakfast. WIFI
The room in which we stayed, was definitely NOT!!! four star quality. Pillows had starins on them, paper cups for hot drinks in the room. Not nearly enough wardrobe space for a small family. No chest of draw space for clothes. Far too small for two adults and two children. If you are a family of four travelling to Helsinki, do not book this room for your stay, you will be bitterly disapointed. Lobby bar drinks VERY, VERY expensive.
Location opposite the congress centre where my conference was held. Breakfast.
Smelly corridors. Room with a tiny window shaped like a corridor. Weird tub drain that made water spill all over the bathroom floor. Low ceilings make the place feel like a prison.
Spacious and quiet rooms. Large breakfast.
The reception seemed understaffed. Usually there was a long queue on the reception. The "Quick Check-out" (leave your key card and go) option seemed kind of rude since it didn't promote the hotel-client relationship. The breakfast buffet (food, tables etc.) was not well-organised in the space. 20-25 min walk from the town centre in a kind of deserted location. OVERALL: highly overpriced for what it offers.
Good location, decent room, decent breakfast, good value.
Nothing serious, but I've never seen a more strangely positioned toilet roll holder - right in front of the sink...
Breakfast was ok, staff was professional.
The windows are the tiniest windows one can imagine, the building used to be a warehouse. You cannot really open them, just a little bit, 10 cm is maximum as the instructions on the window indicate, and the strange odour in the rooms is probably due to lack of fresh air.
Excellent selection of breakfast-goods - continental style - though the breakfast hall was crowded with families with loads of extremely noisy children. When I went for seconds waiter had already cleaned my table and the next customer taken my seat, so I had to find another location to finish my early culinary pleasure. The room was maybe the cleanest I have been in, quite cozy for a major hotel, and the bed was comfortable.
Staff was almost unfriendly from the reception to signing out. The hotel was crowded with families travelling with poorly raised kids, which I found rather disturbing - especially in the breakfast hall, which was decorated with inconvinient and uncomfortable seats.
The location is excellent. The building is quite interesting from the architecture point of view - a nice conversion of a former industrial use.
The quality of breakfast is actually not acceptable for a 4* hotel. The choice is extremely poor (e.g. two types of cheese, one type of fish). The quality is not impressive either. Everything was the cheapest one could find on the market, so was the taste. I would like the chief of catering to go and try, if he/she is brave)
Location to visit Helsinki was perfect. Very big old hotel clean and good kitchen.
There are several parking places in front of the hotel. When they are full you have to park at an other parking place where you have to pay.
Hi PROBLEM WITH WI FI PROBLEM WITH TV AND NO FRENCH TV EVEN EURONEWS.
Good location for taking ferry to Tallinn, value for money and good breakfast. Ask to arrange room with big window, higher floor and sea view.
Wifi ok. The sauna was ok. The heating also. The transportation with the tram was easy to the centrum.
The room was small. After 3 days they have not change the sheets. The breakfast was average but nothing special.
