Wifi ok. The sauna was ok. The heating also. The transportation with the tram was easy to the centrum.
The room was small. After 3 days they have not change the sheets. The breakfast was average but nothing special.
great location, perfect for viking line passengers, nice breakfast
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. I'd arrived in Helsinki after spending 48 days kayaking 1000 miles from Oslo, so this was a lovely place to rest up!
The vast majority of the experience was very good.
We had an early check out - 6:30 am - but we were not informed that the hotel offered a special early morning breakfast from 4:30 am. We went without breakfast there and had to buy breakfast at the airport, which was frustrating as well as an unnecessary expenditure.
Hotel space and location
Small windows on the top flor.
great neighborhood - tram 4 just behind the hotel.
no lunch facilities (except soup) only sandwiches in the shop next to reception - if not sold out.
Great location, staff who are attentive and try to help as best they can, comfortable rooms and beds
If I had to be picky...maybe a few more options with breakfast. Otherwise no complaints at all
the breakfast, and the hall and bar
too small window at 6th floor, and the stark light caster from the harbor into our beds at night
Location is great, short walk to centre of town. Hotel is clean, tidy and staff are friendly. Not a five star hotel but good quality. Restaurant is good too.
Rooms are a little small but comfortable.
The hotel was a short walk from the Viking ferry dock, saving the cost of a taxi ride. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and spoke excellent English. It was only a few minute's walk to the central market and most of the major attractions.
Breakfast Helpful staff Free bikes available
Crowded lobby Really small and not comfortable single room for price. And besides, the room was smelly and the lookalike prison window gave a bad impression of it.
We arrived by ship from Stockholm, and the hotel is walking distance from the pier. Close to the main square and restaurants and tourist info office. Delicious hot and cold breakfast buffet and a nice big seating area as well.
Great location good breakfast
An interesting building but fairly functional. Not much character inside.
Excellent breakfast (included in the price); harbour location; high-speed Wi-Fi, which is essential for my travel, at no additional cost
Not much not to like. You might want to bring your own shampoo and soap/shower gel, since those that are supplied in the shower stall are generic and not really up to 4-star standard
Location, staff very polite, rooms
Very busy breakfast service
location is very good as we come in and go on the ferry and like to go to the market daily.
We weret here in your heat wave and the air conditioner was working pretty hard so it dripped on your furniture and our luggage...that has never happened before when we were staying with you but it might start happening more if temperatures keep rising.
Location Rich breakfast
Queue for breakfast
Breakfast and restaurant in general Friendliness of the stuff Location The overall impression is very good
The price was high, but we made reservations just a few days in advance Room was practically never cleaned, but we changed towels daily
really nice location with a sea/port view... all the sights are 10-20 min walking distance nice cafe/bar with terrace - excellent when it's sunny weather :)
long queue on Sunday morning for breakfast
Breakfast in choice room was well sized for family bathroom too location nice near Orthodox Church and port close to city center and ferries for Suomenlinna
Crowed at breakfast time we didn't test sauna bar is open only at noon for expressos a pity as it is good ones
It's a comfortable hotel in a fairly central location if you enjoy walking a bit. Also close to tram stop.
It's such a huge hotel that you can't expect a quiet, non-crowded stay. The breakfast buffet was rather busy and noisy.
Dimension of the room, good breakfast buffet, friendliness of the staff at the reception, morning and evening sauna
Immense structure, rush hours in the breakfast room, no iron in the room (only for trousers), had to pay 1.50 euros for a cup of hot water!
Spacious room, quiet (no exterior noise and very little interior noise), decent pillows (for Finland standard), decent breakfast, helpful staff.
Poor wifi signal
Good location A/C
Spartan furniture Overpriced Parking fee If you find something like this in Central Europe and paid 50Eur you will be disappointed
