Room very comfortable and very quiet. Plenty of choice for breakfast and most enjoyable. Best of all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Music in the bar and restaurant, which have an excellent atmosphere with everyone chating and meeting. the music is intrusive especially at breakfast.

1. Small room 2. very expensive for what it offers. 3. the fact that they (as many others) give you a room at the end of the corridor facing always the worse view if you book through the internet...it's a shame.

Great and friendly staff. The room was small, but comfortable. Bathroom was very good and clean. No problems with parking. Breakfast was good too.

Everything was good: stuff, breakfast. Very quite place and I guess it's good to stay there in summer.

No teapot in single room, that was a disappointment.

The room was cold. And the water was cold to take a shower.

That they let me check out an hour later at no extra charge. The abundant breakfast.

I thought it was slightly overpriced, considering I got a basic room.

Price was right , clean and comfortable.

It wasn't the prettiest area of Helsinki - but only a 15-20 min walk to the station

We are very diappointed with the room and bed. Our room number was 480. Not befitting five star standard or even a star standard.

Fresh towels every day. Relatively friendly staff. Beautiful old building. Reindeer soup highly recommended. A kettle and tea in the room. Nice saunas.

Cheap old furniture chipped and scratched all over. Dirt here and there and everywhere including mirrors. The hotel demanded that the room shall be paid for in a day before our departure. Staff said that it is due to some mystical problems in the system that had to appear right that morning that we were leaving. It is quite obvious that it's just the policy of the hotel. Even though they had a slip of my credit card and had nohing to worry about. We don't mind paying in advance, we mind being lied to. Breakfast was nothing special. Even Silja Lines ferry Buffet is way better. Extremely cold in the rooms, air conditioning system doesn't work properly: it cannot be turned off or switched to a warmer temperature. The staff brought us an old heater unit that was hardly stable though it managed to work somehow. Two lamps in the bathroom never worked. All in all a very poor experience.

I like location

easy access to city center, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski church, Sea Port etc. Very clean, calm and neat

Loft Which I had received was great - spacious and comfortable. Water cooker, coffee available. Two TVs in room, though not best loctaed downstairs (behind stais/pillar). Close to city and harbour. Very close to Viking Line terminal.

Restaurant open from 18 - not good if you are hungry. Entrance to gym and sauna behind the bar - weird feeling and view when go in flipflops or trianing shoes, sweat, while people drink their coctails in the bar.

Room decode was too simple. Not what one would expect from the beautiful lobby.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room I was given had a partial view of the marina. The location was close to the Viking cruise ship terminal. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed sheet kept slipping off of the mattress.

it was rather cold, radiator didn't function. cleaning service was not very good mini-bar was empty.
