Warmth of hotel nice rooms Excellent location Breakfast good
Not getting chance to use the sauna Food menu narrow and expensive
- Breakfast selection was really good - Couldn't be in better location, as I was in a concert almost across the street
room - very old / not comfortable
I had very little air - windows could not be opened, just a tiny slit with wire mesh over it so no ventilation. The air conditioning/heating only turned down to 16C, and I found the room much too hot, despite turning off the radiator. I was given a room next to the lift - this turned out to be very noisy, especially on the Friday night when people seemed to be going up and down all night long. There was no kettle or tea making facilities which I would normally expect. But the worst thing was the lack of air, overheating and noise from the elevator. I slept hardly at all - a horrible night.
good location Nice staff
The standard of this room was not so good.
Location is the best. Room is ok, nothing special good or bad. I will stay there again when I get to Helsinki.
The restaurant is overcrowded for breakfast. For dinner the serivce is too slow.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The location was excellent.
The room was a bit warm and difficult to alter.
Very central location. A good buisiness class hotel at a fair price. A nice restaurant on the entrance floor.
The rooms are starting to show their age but this is not a major thing.
Perfect location, right in the middle of everything and so easy to find your way around from here. Quiet and comfortable night's sleep despite being in city centre. Hotel facilities are great, clean and tidy with very good WIFI. Buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Best thing about this hotel? The staff! Excellent service, polite and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
Central location, very close to Ferry Terminals, functional rooms, excellent breakfast.
Rooms could have been a bit bigger, especially if like us were on a long vacation & thus had three largish suitcases.
Very dated decor in the room and bathroom. It might have been considered modern in the 80's but I doubt it. My previous expereince of a Scandic was the total opposite which is why I booked this one. But this one is just an old hotel.
Location, location, location
Worst service and terrible rooms
Good space in the room and great breakfast.
Temperature in room was difficult to control. Some young female staff did not know enough about the city facilities.
Scandic wifi best on the market Breakfast Staff at Marski
Tobacco odours in corridor/ room Room a bit outdated, but clean
Rooms are quite worn down. I paid almost 200 eur/ night for a single room and I would expect much better value for money. Only filtered coffee included in breakfast buffet. Cappuccino or any other kind of fresh coffee specialty comes with additional charge.
- low quality beds (I guess a bed was too old) - old part of building (small elevator with hand closing doors) - toilet smell in a bathroom - restaurant works from 18 - there is no kettle in a room (only for luxury rooms) if you want to make some tea or kids food - go to reception.
Location is good. Nice staff. Wide room.
A little noisy at night. Many drinkers? at the street.
Breakfast was good. Wide spread of cold and warm choices. Location convienient
Room was old fashioned and could do with some upgrading. No hot water kettle provided in room and had to go to reception for hot water. Bathtub had strands of hair from previous occupier. Staff provided service with straight face but they did their job.
- Great central location - Great breakfast - Good internet
- Old beds, mattress shaped like a "U", not comfortable - Pricey
Location could not be better. Great breakfast
We loved this hotel. It was central, staff were great, wifi was speedy, rooms were comfortable and nice, bathroom was great... and the breakfast was amazing!
Breakfast is good. Very good location.
Beds are thin and very uncomfortable. Horrible old, worn out carpet, reception staff not very friendly. Needs serious work on the decor.
location and breaky was dekish
it was really stuffy and hot
