the room was so cold and dirty. hairdryer was not working properly. Staff is very slow and we had to wait 15 min. to check in
location, staff and overall amenities. Wifi also was good.
The breakfast items were cold, especially the scrambled eggs.n
Proximity to city center and train station easily accessible shopping centers you can walk to shoreline in less than 10 minutes
I did use all the soap in mid of my stay, nobody noticed that I needed refill (but there were two other cans, one by the sink and then one with the shampoo) They did not clean the floor thoroughly during my two weeks stay, I would expect better job
Breakfast not that great, also, weird design to have windows in the toilet, that means that if someone gets up in the night and turns the light on in the toilet it also lights up in the bedroom.
Location. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful. Great service.
Some of the staff were a bit rough...
The hotel is in a good location, not far from the Central Railway and the airport shuttle. All tourist sites are easily reached on foot and a cosy coffee shop and shopping centre close by which was great when the weather was so cold.
The location is excellent. Only a few meters to all the best shops in Helsinki, the museums and restaurants. You can even shop without going outside if it´s cold outside. The sauna is good and breakfast and restaurant is good.
As this is a very popular hotel for weekend guests the breakfast room was very crowded on Saturday and Sunday morning. The staff could have used an extra pair of hands to fill the food containers.
This is the third time my Father and I have stayed at this hotel for when I have to travel to Helsinki to have my Flute serviced by the person who made it. The Simonkenttä is convenient for public transport, central to everything you need (tram stop for the 2/3 circle route is right outside), the team are always friendly and professional. Furthermore, for a City location the price is sensible, the rooms are good quality and always clean and tidy. The Restaurant is excellent and the breakfast choice is very comprehensive. I would always recommend the Simonkenttä to anyone staying in Helsinki.
Free WiFi, good signal strength and connecting was straightforward. Wet-room / shower-room was great. Check-in staff excellent.
Breakfast (inclusive) was mediocre at best with rock-hard croissants and uninspirational bacon. Pillows were not the most comfortable.
Friendly staff and speedy check in and check out.
good location, good breakfast, clean, free Wi-Fi
room need renovate
The room felt soulless and it was not worth the money, but then nothing in helsinki is!
A modern hotel in a central location. Efficient staff and a good breakfast.
staff was rude I was promised a double bed but then given a twin bedroom. I asked for change so staff told me to charge more.
Hotel very close to the train station and heading to Saint petersburg.Room was clean but a little outdated.Recommend getting a front facing room The hotel backs onto a large area at the rear with clubs & pubs
For somewhere that I say alot people would use to head to St petersburg breakfast you miss if you catch the early train.
I picked this hotel due to its close proximity to the Central Train station its a quick 200m walk to the station. And if you dont want to talk all your luggage you can leave bags at the hotel.Great friendly staff . Would stay here again
rooms abit out dated but sleep was good the two nights i stayed
cute clean room, huge breakfast included, very comfy bed, great location, super wifi
no security if u leave luggage after check out. was a bit worried but it was all good.
Room was noisy
Good quality, central business hotel with good rooms and facilities. The hotel operates an online check out facility which allows a quick get away in the morning rush.
Reception desk can be very busy, only saw two staff at the desk at any one time. Long waits. Reception make a hefty charge of about €6 to book a taxi for you.
The personnel is really good! Location is also good.
The water in the shower doesn't go. They need to check their pipes.
The whole package.
At breakfast there was no fresh fruit salad available. There was fresh fruit and you had to cut your own. Pre-preparaed fresh fruit salad would be much better and I think this is the first hotel anywhere where it hasn't been available.
very good provision of gluten free food, enjoyed the free sauna
lack of kettle
This hotel has easy access to train, bus, trams, and shops.
Not having a tea/ coffee tray in the room was disappointing
