Toilet in single room was so small that if you sat on it you banged your head off the sink! Must qualify for the Guinness book of records as one of the smallest in the world.
The location is very good (in front of the station) and the 1900 atmosphere inspiring. Good breakfast wifi and staff.
The drawback of preserving the hotel's character, is that is difficult to balance with confort. The sound and cold insulation was poor in my room. It was especially cold. I complained and the hotel set up an extra heating in the room.
my matress, pillow and blanket
The only asset : situation in fron of the nus station and train station...
Lift broken at 6h30 in the morning. Had to take my heavu suitcase all the way down the floors.. Breakfast, although included, not available before 8 a.m. instead of 7 as announced, even impossible to get a simple coffee !! The cost was included nevertheless in the price : almost 100 € ! Definitely needs some modernization...
Very nice old style hotel
construction work as happening during our stay
Very nice location of hotel. Very friend staff. Excellent breakfast.
Not enough heating of room during winter season. Inveterate smell in the room.
Great location, good breakfast, excellent staff, the room is pretty big and comfortable
Centrally located Breakfast until 11am during Nye time
Building renew jobs were really annoying all day long.
- Location is good, just opposite to the central station - A lot of choices of food for breakfast, especially the croissant :)
- The hotel charged me Euro10 for early check in....I've never heard about there is a early check in fee....However, I was very tired when I was checking in, as I arrived the hotel at 7am. I paid for the fee in order to take a shower and get some sleep before I am ready to go out. - The lift was always out of service! My room was on the 5th floor, I needed to use the stairs all the time. - The hotel is still under renovation, it would be fine if you won't open the windows or even the curtain.
classic design good breadfast good location comfort bed
it is being maintenance and we can't see overall building of hotel.
Hotel was under renovation partly and bar, restaurant closed during holiday period.
Very convinient location. 2minutes to the central station. Breakfast was really good.
It was under construction. So it was difficult to find the hotel.
The baroque style Wonderful breakfast Comfy room
At no point before my arrival was I informed that the building was under renovation, that the view was blocked and privacy was possible by closing the curtains
everything, really. It was a piece of luxury after a very busy week.
Just like most of Finland, the price of a drink of wine!
For 250€ a night you can get: - not working elevator - no wi-fi at all - no porter, i.e. Bags to 4th floor by yourself - no room service - scaffolding in the window WELCOME))))
the location is good The staff are helpful
The room I lived for second time is quite small compared to my first time room. Besides, I required a quite room when booking, but when its around 7:00, the noisy came.
The hotel is dated but clean. The breakfast was great and the location can't be beat.
The staff were excellent, well informed, professional and always helpful. The breakfast was fantastic each day - wonderful range of fresh food. The rooms were spacious, clean and warm. Would rate my stay 10/10.
location is convinient, breakfast is good, the bad and pillows are cosy
the noise in the room from outside and from conditioning in the bathroom are awfull. I could not sleep. I asked for the courtyard view expecting the silence and it was my mistake. The street views rooms also cannot be quite as there are trams outside and quite serious traffic.
I arrive early on a Sunday morning after travelling form Australia. I had requested an early check in, and it was available when I got there about 8.30am! Very happy. the breakfast was also great and the rooms and hotel - very grand.
Nice classy looking hotel Breakfast good Wifi coverage good and simple to use Comfy beds Housekeeping does a good job
Hotel has a lot of tear and wear and needs to be refurnished. Bathroom bugs spotted on the floor. Sewage smell in bathroom and lobby bathroom.
Everything is excellent
Great location near the railway station. Gorgeous art nouveau building with stunningly beautiful breakfast room. Wonderful breakfast with enourmous selection of food.
We booked a double room and got a twin. We also requested different pillows as the hotels has 5 different ones. Did not get the ones we asked for. Showering was difficult as the shower wall in the hot tub was really narrow and it was tricky to shower without splashing the water to the floor. The old guy at the breakfast was unfriendly.
Big room Good location Good breakfast Elegant restaurant Classic decoration
Bathroom old and lack of maintainence No air condition (both warm and cold) I see a fan inside the room
