Good old solid hotel with history. Central location close to most sights. Would suit older people. Elegant large art deco rooms and good bathrooms too.Very comfortable.
Current building work still going on, mainly outside . Hope it will be finished before next summer.
The staff were friendly and helpful
The room was far too hot, luckily a small fan was in the room which helped somewhat. The décor is tired.
the location of the hôtel, the size and the organisation of the room, the breakfast, the building in general.
no sauna, the way it was smelling in the bathroom.
Very close to the city center, very good breakfast.
Quite old hotel, currently on renovation. Please watch out because work starts from 9 so it's quite noisy.
Friendly helpful staff, perfect location for shopping and public transport, the business centre.Spacious dining room for breakfast.
The weather was very hot and the hotel did not have air conditioning. There was a portable electric fan in the room and industrial type fans plugged in along the corridor, which were really noisy so I found it hard to sleep for the four nights of my stay.In fairness Helsinki apparently does not have such hot summer weather.
1. Location 2. Rooms 3. Toilets 4. Breakfast 5. staff
1. It was very hot with no Fan or air conditioning.
Awesome location directly opposite the central train station. Close to everything.
No air-conditioning. I sort of just assumed it from the price but then again I guess it is Finland and cooling A/C is probably only needed for a month each year.
Rooms not worth of money. Old and worn out. Leaking pipes in the toilet etc. Breakfast table empty after 9.00 am and was filled only 10.00 am. Staff in the reception watching your every step in the evenings... Definetely not worth of the price they ask. No airco.
- Location - Friendly staff - Ambience - Interior desing - Breakfast
hotel has fantastic old world charm breakfast equals the best to be found anywhere
major renovations being carried out meant room air full of dust and noise . this work supposed to be completed in September
Upon our request we were moved to a beautiful, grand room as we were originally given a small and very noisy room next to the courtyard air conditioning unit. They were very obliging about our complaint.
Staff were very helpful in directing us around the city. Beautiful room
Location, staff, breakfast, everything
there is no bar & restorante no room service there is a maintenance in hotel there no body help you with your bags very bad braekfast
Convenient to Airport bus and city centre. Friendly staff and a good breakfast.
I wasn't informed of the possibility of an early breakfast which would have been useful because off an early flight.
teamaking facilities; heated floor in the bathroom
Bathroom too small, bed uncomfortable and room very noisy.
Bathrooms- no shower just bath tube, but hardly a shower screen. Horrible view. No sauna, no gym
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. Great breakfast, well equipped room and bathroom.
Thought it was a little odd that our queen sized bed had only a single doona....
this was not a pleasent hotel to stay in. I was offered a courtyard room as it was quieter due to work being carried on around the hotel. My view was scoffolding and workmen start work at 6.30am so was woken very early with no hope of returning to sleep. My room was tiny and the bed was small and positioned in a weird place in the room. The bathroom was also tiny. the sink and toilet where ridiculously close together. Breakfast was poor. I travel alot with my work and this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend it all. Perhaps it will improve when the work surrounding it is finished.
Excellent breakfast, pleasant spacious room, central location.
Noise of ice-machine opposite room.
There was a staircase up to our room on the fifth floor and nobody told us. We have problems carrying heavy luggage in stairs. We were too tired to go back and complain.
It was very average and very tired. It is in dire need of renovation
Very good location, ecellent breakfast. Clean and confortabele room.
My room was on the street side, so bit noisy (trams, busses).
