Friendly staff mostly
Poor housekeeping in the rooms. Noisy room (wooden floors and the room was next to elevator)
Staff very friendly and helpful
When we got to the breakfast buffet about 25 mins before it was meant to finish a lot of the food items were finished and those foods (e.g. porridge, karjalanpiirakka, croissants, muffins) weren't being replenished.
Very pleasant and polite staff. Good location (somewhat central, but not in the busy part of the center). Good value for money.
The blanket smelled awfully sweaty, like it was not cleaned in ages. I would have asked for it to be changed, but the bed linens were clean, so the smell was not noticed until night time, when I went to sleep.
Comfortable room. Clean and quiet. Many good options for breakfast.
A bathtub would make it perfect..
Nice lobby and breakfast-cafe. Very good breakfast buffee. Nice building in a lovely area with lots of little shops and cafes.
We stayed in a standard double room (+baby bed) and it was quite small and uncosy. I hoped for better because chose the hotel from the Helsinki Design District list of hotels. But the room had lack of character, just a regular (but good!) hotel stay. I would stay there again, but maybe would choose better (=more expensive?) room.
Very helpful staff in the reception. Nice and calm atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant. Comfortable beds. Nice and clean room.
An extra charge for robs and slippers. The staff in the restaurant forgot my order. A strange alarm went of in our room several times. The cleaner didn't arrive until late afternoon when we were napping.
Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Good location.
Very good hotel in the center of the city.
The room was cold.
Super breakfast selection! A total positive for all visitors.
The shower system, water tends to run all over the bathroom floor, direct drainage could be better.
Excellent service, very good food, super nice breakfast.
Very nice hotel with good breakfast!
Breakfast was fresh with a good selection and decent coffee. Shower and bathroom excellent.
Beds uncomfortable, spartan furniture and dreary colour scheme.
nice decor and building good location with a fifteen minute walk to the city centre ok price for Helsinki standards
beds were uncomfortable and way too soft; cleanliness can be improved especially in the breakfast area; plumbing in the bathroom means the whole floor floods when you take a shower; windows cannot be opened
Bathroom great, coffee facilities in room good, staff wonderful - reception/bar/breakfast. Varied breakfast - very appetizing; outside terrace good to relax in. Close to course site and harbor.
No bar/restaurant service on Sunday (breakfast Sun AM was on) - staff did direct me to another location just up the street
breakfast, sauna(open hours is limited)
location is hard to get back to, but central... window cant even open at all for fresh air...
advice from the staff
Pretty close to the City centre and still very quit for a good night rest.
Limited number of foreign TV stations available.
Excellent classic interior design!
Classy drsign but why modern, mechanical (noisy) air circulation??
Excellent staff, very helpful & friendly. Very good breakfast. Location was okay, close to tram stop.
Small rooms, needs new carpets and a bit of TLC. Rooms had dark paints, made the rooms look dark & small even in summer. Bathroom flooded when you had a shower.
good location; breakfast was OK; helpful personnel
outdated furniture and room design as of 90's - wouldn't call it a "quality for money" hotel; pictures of psychodelic squirrel in the lobby that doesn't go well with the rest of interior; poor quality of wifi, it took about 10 attempts to log in; no "do not disturb" sign in the room
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Large room for 4 persons with kids breakfast good average for Finland very good nespresso coffee at the bar location near good Japanese restaurants friendly staff
Opening hours for sauna
The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. I was there twice and the rooms were fine and facilities in the rooms were great. A good breakfast, helpful Reception, couldn't fault the service.
The kitchen closed at 9pm on the night I arrived after my flight was delayed - it might be worth people knowing this so they can get some food elsewhere. There wasn't much available from the bar except a rather dry sandwich.
Very nice design and atmosphere Location is great Attentive and helpfull personal Breakfast is very nice
