Centro Hotel Turku is in Turku, a short walk from the Market Square in a quiet inner courtyard. It provides guests free access to both gym and fitness classes at the nearby Motivus Fitness Centre.

Nice walk along the river - close from the hotel, breakfast in the old part of the hotel, very polite personnel.
Noise in the room nearby
Stayed only 2 nights but excellent and friendly staff and superb food at Fransmanni restaurant.
space ironing board and iron clean extra pillows wifi
old furniture noise from the street bath water flooded the bathroom floor small tv no personal lamp on desk for makeup
Room was very clean. Bed was good.
Service at the reception was unfriendly. Breakfast was partly lacking some fresh servings. Car park was full.
+ Quiet room (upon request) + Great breakfast buffet + Fabulous location - lots of restaurants and shopping right there.
- Long line to check in - Swimming pool was very cold & no hot tub. - Breakfast starts relatively late (we were there for a gymnastics competition which started at 8) - Gave me & my daughter a double-bed rather than separate beds. - You have to pay for parking and their lot was full.
Breakfast was a fiasco: not enough seating, long queus to all food stations, they ran out of everything: food, plates, cutlery, glasses... The breakfast room was so crowded it was difficult to get from one side to the other. Horrific experience!
After an awkward start, the staff was otherwise very friendly. The hotel is adjacent to the market square and surrounded by bars and restaurants, as well as shops. The breakfast is so good we went straight for dinner. The castle can also be reached by foot, it's a nice walk along the river.
The girl at the reception said something like: "Okay, let's see if we have a room for you..", which sounds a bit odd as I had made a reservation. Maybe Finnish sense of humour. And when she found it, she said "twin beds" while I specifically requested "double bed". Apparently, she then got it all right as she gave us a room on the 5th floor at a quiet side of the hotel. We could not visit the sauna as only in the hotel room we found out you need to wear a swimsuit.
A certain sterility in the interior decoration of the room
Location, hospitality, clean room.
Good hotel, with many facilities, right in the heart of Turku, close to everything. Marvelous breakfast!
Surrouded by bars, noise at night can be ultrageous at weekends!
The feeling like I was in a dormitory
The family friendly staff and place
Did not have a nice view from our room on the 5th floor as advertised! Long queue on arrival at reception to sing in.
The room design and appointments were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was hearty, although perhaps not as impressive as those we had experienced in other Finnish hotels in previous days.
Our room overlooked the main city square. Due to the lack of reasonable air conditioning, we needed to leave the windows open, and the noise from buses and traffic signals that resulted was disturbing.
Location in the heart of Turku.
The room was unclean & old, toilet leaking, shower was very old and the floor of the shower was discusting. I took a photo of the floor of the shower and showed that to the head clerk by the desk - she did't give any discount or similar. Just said that this is first time that someone says something like this. Both key cards were unactivated when we went back to the room during the night. The clerk didn't seem very surpriced so I think that was on purpose, as RuisRock was during the weekend. Somekind of check out in what condition people are. I think. You couldn't go to the bed from your own side - you had to go over your friend during the night when visiting the toilet. Oh my! I thought that "The" Börs was something else! 199€ could have been used so much better than this. We felt like we've visited a Bates Motel rather than a proper hotel that Turku people are so proud of. Never again.
Central location. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Location, good breakfast, especially the Åland pancakes! :-P
Quite pricey for the quality.
Great location in the center of everything. The interior is a bit dated but the hotel is clean and well maintained, giving it a pleasant Finnish "old school" atmosphere. There is a swimming pool and small but functional saunas. Breakfast is great with many healthy and filling options. There are several restaurants on the premises, if you feel like dining close to home.
For some reason, housekeeping forgot to clean our room on the first day. However, the front desk were very quick to correct that when we complained and also gave us free drinks while we waited, so I guess that it falls within the range of acceptable mistakes.
The rooms were clean.
My hotel room was located in another building adjacent to the main building . I am diabetic and had a problem with my sugar level upon my late arrival (around midnight) so I wanted to drink a coke or something sweet but unfortunately the mini bar was empty. I asked the reception if they could help me but they just referred me to a nearby diner. I find this quite unfriendly because I already mentioned that I am diabetic, it was quite late so all shops were closed. I travel a lot and the usual complimentary coffee or tee was also not available. I find it very disappointing . The reason I booked this hotel was that I was convinced that it would have the standards as advertised and I also expect to receive the amenities I paid for.
We got breakfast with us on our last morning although we checked out very early. They arranged a bag to take with us to the airport.
The room is not worth the money we paid.
Rich breakfast Great gym for free (across the street)
The receptionist was not able to deal with any extraordinariness (we were asking for invoice with different address than was in reservation and it took 50 minutes until they did in correct). Hotel is large and always only 2 receptionists were there, so people have to wait long time for check in/check out. TV was paid 12,50 EUR/day!
We really appreciated the hotel in general. The room was beautiful, with a nice view on the market square, and the bed was very confortable. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice (smoked salmon, cheeses, ham, cereals, breads, vegetables, fruits...). The swimming pool was perfect when the weather gets hot. Unfortunately, we did not have the occasion to try the sauna. A lot of restaurants in the hotel complex, with good food. We spent 4 nights here and never had any problem of any kind. We warmly recommend this hotel and the city of Turku!
Everything was perfect.
Close to shopping and city center. Easy walks to university/hospitals/night life.
nice staff and excellent locatcation
noisy outside when we slept.(the window faces to Kaupatori) the decoration truck was working overnight. (the decoration truck should belong to Sokos and the truck seemed trying to clean the hotel's roof at that night) we tried to close the window but no air-conditioner.
Perfect location Free high speed wifi
I have stayed in the hotel before but now they dropped me in a room across the street. So i had to cross the road every day to have breakfast. Then it was obvious the room is not a very often used room: no minibar. There was a kettle and mugs but no spoons. Also the room was very dusty: on the night table and under the bed i could draw my name in the dust. There was 1 lift in this building so it took ages to get down from my room on the 8th floor, or to get up to the 8 floor. Not enough manpower at reception desk, needed to queue up and it took 15 minutes to get someone. If i will ever come back to this hotel, its in a room in the hamburger bors building; never the building across the street!
