The hotel in general

During heavy rain you cannot sleep at the second floor. The rain comes down and finds somewhere a splash area which gives a 'heavy' beating noise. The heavy rain lasted 30 min.

Normal clean hotel with rather modern facilities available and centrally located in the town.Comfortable beds.

Rather poor breakfast)considering price requested for room.Still cannot understand why Sokos Presidenti located in the very center of Helsinki but not small town Kotka like this one ,costs 20 eur more only and at the same time offering anyway more modern facilities and more delicious breakfast with larger variety available.

Nice location. Very friendly staff. We arrived rather early but were given the keys. Good breakfast. Sauna was also good but unfortunatly it was open only in the morning (we came on Friday, and it is closed on Fridays...)

It would be better to open sauna on Friday evenings

No russian channels No usb accsess in tv

Noise insulation is absent , when somebody of your neighbours speaks there is feeling that he is in your room !!!!

Too much cold air from air condition, not enough warm in the room, my children got cold!

It has very good restoran. The menu is in russian.

There is no any TV program in Russian but it has a lot of russian turists. It doesn't have free wi-fi.

The lady on reception didnt give me wifi information, so I had to go back for that, the she told me, that there is no wifi in my room, that I have to use the cabel, but the cabel didnt work and eventhought i asked them to fix that, nothing happened, so I was with no internet for my whole stay...

Located in the center of Kotka, near the park and the largest shopping mall. The town is small, so most attractions are within a kilometer of the hotel.

The room lighting is not enough, to the same one bulb burns out. No brush for clothes and shoes, and a shoe horn. Internet is, but only paid. No television programs in Russian and Evronews

Friendly staff, but unfortunately the level of Sokos Hotel recently dropped. Very noisy in the room overlooking the street, especially at night. The shower was not working properly, the sink was dirty. In calculating the employee added to the bill 40 euros (accidentally). We paid the bill at 10 am, after that we went for a walk around the city and more we were not allowed into the room. They said that there was already cleared. (?) But we payed befor 12 pm.

I would like to have another room in the future as this is not the best room they probabaly have. It always nice if you can have a better room if you will stay during 1 week.

i like this hotel very much.

And there is nothing I dislike about this hotel.

The hotel is wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay. Location is very convenient, twin room was spacious and clean, the same can be said about the bathroom. Fransmanni restaurant on the first floor is worth visiting.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel offers dancing, restaurants and bar, which is good since the city does not offer that much entertainment.

A bit outdated interior. No free wireless internet (Sonora € 8 per hour). Wired internet in the room is ok.
