This grand 1920s hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Helsinki Central Station and the Esplanadi shopping streets. It offers free Wi-Fi, a popular breakfast buffet and a rooftop bar with panoramic city views. Sokos Hotel Torni’s modern, soundproofed guest rooms are decorated in 3 different styles: Art Nouveau, Art Déco and Functionalism. All have an LCD TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with shower. Some include a sitting area. Restaurant Torni serves a seasonal menu of traditional Finnish dishes inspired by modern, international flavors. Friendly and helpful staff, the location and history of the place, the comfort of the jr suite to which I was upgraded to. It was great great experience and I will definitely recommend to others.

The lady on reception on the Sunday could not have been more helpful. The location was perfect. We choose this Hotel purely due to the bar on the 14th floor with views over the city. It was very anoying to find that the outside space was closed on both nights of our stay. So we could not even see the view or take photos. On top of this the lady behind the bar was very unpleasent and made us feel very unwelcome, so much so we didn't even bother to stay for a drink. The drinks list to be honest was poor so was happy to go else where. If we had known this we would have booked somewhere else. Was a shame that the other bars in the hotel was closed on Sunday and that Breakfast didnt start until late, by our standards and was a poor spread. Finally the room on the 5th floor was very cold.

We were there on the 24th of December and had the best breakfast buffet that I have ever experienced!!! Super fresh and very delicious. The hotel room was beautifully designed. The hotel room was very small.

Well located within Helsinki. The building is has some nice original features and includes a fun top roof bar overlooking the city. The breakfast could be better organised. The food is great but the seating arrangements need some attention.

We came end od sept and end of october and we were happy each time to spend our days in torni We got both the same room for 3 people as requested , nice. Asked questions and each time got answers One quEstion reservation done on internet and prices were quite different, even if one time from friday to sunday and other time during the week, business period, but For a family point of view it should be interesting to get best prices, not sure that business guests takes a family room

My hotel room was small, yet the hotel is centrally located. One can see the rooftop view of Helsinki at the 14/f bar (accessible by spiral staircase) or from the 12/f toilets. Remarkable experience.

Location and price was excellent for our purpose. The ensuite was a surprise! Unfortunately the lift was far too popular during the evenings so the waiting time was much longer and it did not accommodate many people. We do understand that due to the nature of the tower and the restaurant at top level there is nothing that can be done to change this. Just go with the flow and use the stairs. Another point would be the lack of airconditioning at comfortable temperature during our summer stay. We were given a fan which made it more bearable.

Good location and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. It was supposed to be a 4 persons room but the sofa bed ment for our 2 children was so small that only one could fit. Air conditioning was not functioning which could be a problem if it gets hot outside.

It was a nice quirky hotel, with a boutique feel. The beds and pillows were great and very comfortable and the location was also great. When we had breakfast there were little staff to direct us to a table and also hard to find a clean table.
