Took 3 weeks to be refunded as was double charged.
Everything was clean neat and tidy. Lovely, friendly staff. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Great massages. Pizza place next door really good. Great place to stay when you plan to do a few day trips. Bar not too expensive. If you want five stars, wet bar, mega pool and plan to never leave the hotel well this probably isn't for you but that's exactly what makes it special. Nadi, Denaru are all only a short taxi ride away.
Mid week dinners very average. More variety of fruit at breakfast would be nice. Resort could do with a freshen up, but its all very clean and tidy.
The staff where beautiful, though many of them were frightened of their bosses. You get what you pay for. Great place to do very little.
It was all very basic but the chairs and lounges around the pool need replacing and the lounges on the beach needed upkeep. Some of the food was a bit average, one meal we got dirty rotten potatoes! And the airconditioner was very noisy.
Staff vers Nice and helpful Good breakfast Lovely atmosphere
Beach not very clean, just a place to stay a few days.
The staff, the room location is in front of the beach, all most everything
Food is not too special, ordered Fiji style chow mein but the noodle wasn't fried noodle, it was boiled, the room is full of ants, sprayed many repellent around the bed to avoid
Food and price
Relaxing. Clean. Free water sports. Food was cheap and delicious and varied
Cheaper than staying in Denarau, the quality of items in the boutique, good service at JBs pizza
A/c wasn't working properly in the bures as with shower fixtures, thin walls
Staff friendliness and efficiency despite one problem. Excellent breakfasts although a little slow. Excellent position of Bungalow 20 - close to ameneties and beach. Pool cleanliness Good entertainment. Bar snacks, especially the chicken pieces, excellent. Peaceful.
It took four attempts to get an accurate bill. Transfers to airport on departure should be included in the price
the staff, the comfort, the pool, child friendly,
We ate in the restaurant only the first night, They try to do too much with choices and do not do any one thing particularly well. When we booked they did not tell us there was a charge to use our credit card which was an extra $100
Although conveniently close to the airport we didn't hear any planes. You could book all day trips in the hotel, and the marina was only 20 mins away – so perfect base to take trips to the other islands Our Hut was literally 5 metres from the sea – so each morning we woke up to the lapping of the waves. Very friendly and helpful staff Free use of Kayaks Lots of choice for food (including a nearby Pizza bar), and on certain nights there was entertainment as well (we didn't see any of it so can't comment on the quality). Well stocked and comfortable bar area (cocktails a little thin) with wifi ($4) All in all, if you aren't staying on any of the other islands, and want to stay in Nadi on a budget, Club Fiji certainly gives you a feel of a beach resort. If we were in need of a place to stay in or around Nadi, we would definitely stay here again.
Shallow beach – so unfortunately you need to walk quite a way out to be able to swim comfortably Pool was very small (more of a paddling pool) Although having said plenty of choice for food, the only time we ate in the restaurant our meals weren't particularly nice (bland and tasteless) – However that was only one meal so may have been an off night :0)
Nice the restaurant area, and good idea of the cooking in front of the guests. Nice staff. Fair value for money.
Cleanliness of the rooms is not a strenght, and our room was in need of renovation. The beach is not well maintained. It is a shame, because it could really be better
Very family friendly lovely grounds, staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast was included and was sufficient Free water sports and free snorkelling on the reef
Restaurant meals are just average, but not a problem if you are staying a few days, it's an easy taxi ride into town to try different restaurants.
Nice staff - pizza place next door was first rate.
Lots of maintenance going on was not very nice. Loud demolitions and guy with a weed wacker right next to our Bure. Not well signposted, down the end of a dodgy dirt road
fales massage service
dirty beaches outside the resort, lots of rubbish dumping by locals grumpy barman during the day book 2 nights with breakfast, only get one breakfast because leave before 7am, no alternative is offered, not good service
location good, very tranquil .It was full , but seemed empty. Food was, good especially the curries .Prices reasonable as well.
bathroom facilities need upgrading,
We had #1 bure - was happy with location - good view to beach. Quiet even though close to bar. Towels certainly need to be renewed - bed linen adequate and clean. Staff were delightful - food adequate - service good but look out for the birds, they love bacon and eggs. The resort was adequate for us to catch our breath on return flight from Australia to Vancouver.
Even though a short distance from the airport, the actual approach to the resort is terrible - garbage at every turn. Air conditioning not adequate. The smoke alarm sounded twice one night - reported it, was removed not replaced.
Food was good. Very clean.
Very out of the way. Could not walk to anywhere. Taxi a must
Loved the resort...the staff were awesome...wonderful facilities for couples and families...we would stay there again
the road to get to the resort needs an upgrade sooner than later...our room needs a make over but it was comfortable...meals were average but at times expensive
We were in Fiji for our sons wedding on the coral coast, we decided that we needed a couple of days rest closer to Nadi before flying home. Most of the staff were very helpful & happy. The resort grounds was well maintained & they offered water sports & which included being taken out to a reef for some snorkelling. We did like the fact that we had our own burra so you felt like you had a bit more privacy. There was a choice of 2 restaurants on site would highly recommend visiting JB's pizza & pasta for at least a meal. it was lovely over looking the ocean. They pool was well kept & they had activities that guest could participate in through out the day or evening.
We must have got the receptionist on a bad day as she didn't seem overly interested. I thought it was a bit odd that we had to put a $100 deposit down for water activities as well as for the air condition remote (which didn't work that efficiently) & if you didn't bring it back on check out you lost your deposit. For the money you paid I felt the burra were looking a bit tired & could possibly do with a freshen up. There was a black out twice while we were there although the main area of the resort had a generator the rooms were left in the dark they didn't seem to have enough lanterns to go around, even though this wasn't a regular thing to happen I think they should have a backup plan for the guest rooms.
The people were great, the bed was comfortable. The fish was fresh and superb and so was the fruit for breakfast
No TV in room, and no phone, very long 5 days with just a borrowed book. Take an IPAD to watch movies
staff were friendly & welcoming Rooms were serviced everyday Nice quiet & relaxing
Didn't like the fact that we waited 1.5 hours for no one to pick us up. Cost of the food was a bit too pricey.
very quit ,no V & no phone in the room .fantastic
To get there and to leave to go to town
