Bed was extremely poor condition. Shower curtain was mouldy. Floors were not clean.
Value for money Nice area with private beach
Villa's with ocean view are the second row and blocked by villa's first row, so it is villa view Property is run down and need refurbishment Staff seems not too interested
Beach, bures, great food, helpful staff, activities
Beds rock hard and in July did get cold at night so could have done with another blanket.
Still out on that one One staff member was nice waiter Young girls at reception nice
Staff were rude and noisy security was a JOKE and brasin brake-ins into peoples rooms. Food was un-eatable reception staff under trained I had to show them how to do something, i am a guest!
The food was great. Price of meals excellent.
The singer one night. She was so flat. Bouncy floors, very tired, getting old and out of date. Needs a massive rejuvenation. Needs to choose better colours. Get rid of the apple green and pink paint.
friendly staff. quite and relaxing. like a comfortable batch, kiwis will understand what we mean. :)
The resort itself was lovely, a classic located on the outskirts of Nadi. Not your typical Fiji resort with over the top service and all you can eat options instead you will find a little piece of 70s accommodation consisting of a bunch of bures, an open hut style dining area with another dining area located on the second level of an adjacent building giving you a great view of the beach. There are a couple of little open huts so couples can snuggle together and watch movies. The staff were also very accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal always eager to assist. Taxis always arrived within minutes of being called and their prices were very reasonable. If you are looking to travel to Fiji and enjoy some of the actual country then I would recommend this resort.
With the good comes the bad: the pool is about the size of a standard backyard pool which in reality shouldn't be a problem as the resort is located on a beach front. Unfortunately the beach is terrible, from late morning to evening the tide is out leaving the water 100 metres from the shore with an average depth 30cms. The resort has a selection of watersport items which are free of charge but you need to be very strong to drag them 100 metres to the reach water. Not really suitable for swmming laps, the beach has random bits of broken glass and general rubbish items so you will need to wear shoes when you go for a walk. Wifi is a problem, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, can be very slow and with a cost of fjd$6 per hour it is not good value for money.
Not too large, staff friendly, entertainment and activities provided daily if wanted. Transport options available to visit other locatios. We enjoyed the hospitality offered onsite, mixing with like minded people. Food was adequate. Soliciated feedback and followed through with some suggestions.
suggestions made..staff to take pride in the surrounding beach and pick up rubbish etc regualarly. Have eggs for brekky cooked in kitchen so the annoying minor birds are not around food whilst being cooked. Update some of the older water equipment.
Friendly welcoming staff, rooms cleaned daily, asked for feedback and then actioned were possible. Provided entertainment nightly and also free activities appreciated!
Glass on the beach, shame locals don't clean up there beaches. Some of the water equipment was dated.
The pillows are very hard
Was a fantastic unwind location, kayaks, horse rides, great bar, restaurant, both the resort one and pizza bar. Make sure when you book the tides in for most of midday! Lovely staff.
A great, quiet spot near the airport. Lots of activities each day or lots of nice spots to watch the world go by. Helpfrul staff. $15fiji to head to the airport. Good breakfast.
Oceanview room doesnt mean oceanfront, you need beach front to be on the er, beachfront with no obstructed view. I had an oceanview room but it was behind so only really had an oceanview if you sat on the porch.
Nothing was to like.
1. No TV in the room 2. No privacy (thin walls, rooms are too close together) 3. A/C not working 4. Hot water not working 5. Food over priced 6. Drinks over priced 7. Staff not friendly 8. Bed uncomfortable 9. Bad location (too deep in from civilisation, next to a crematorium)
Bure's on the beach, gardens and general property were beautiful. Close to Nadi Airport and town. Reasonable price for the room with its own verandah. I stayed at another place and didn't get the same value. Would definitely stay here again. Dinner was a bit limited in choice, and drinks from the bar are the same you pay anywhere. The airport shuttle was waiting and the staff were great for arranging taxis.
The bathrooms a bit small and pokey .. needs a make over but still ok.
Nice fijian style resort, very relaxing, good location, great breakfast!
Glass and rubbish on the beach, uncomfortable bed, dogs barking at night. Food a bit expensive.
Loved how the resort is set up, our little beach hut was sooooooooo cute, no TV, no internet and no phones in the rooms, complete relaxation and isolation.
Didnt like the dirt road leading to the resort
Fantastic location Great rooms Good restaurant and bar (not as cheap as elsewhere though) Breakfast was good
Not a great beach for swimming - not the classic golden sand with clear water.
Friendly staff, great food and free watersports ie. snorkeling, canoeing etc
The noisy birds jumping on the tin roof of my bure and generally making a racket.
A very nice and clean resort. Great for families. Free kayaking was a plus.
The tides affects this resort very much and makes swimming almost impossible if you don't want to walk 200 yards out from the beach. The resort is very distant from everything and you have to walk a mile to catch the local bus that can take you in to Nadi or pay the resort $2.50 each way for a shuttle.
Its true to what Fiji is all about. Natural settings n local traditions. Friendly staff. There are activities to do if you choose or just relax and do nothing in the tranquil setting around you. Best place to visit. Its not the place for you if you expect 5 star n silver spoons but if you want a home like atmosphere n natural and true to Fiji life style then Club Fiji is the place for you. Bula. And vinaka
There pillows need some new ones.
The location right by the beach and it was a lovely quiet area to stay would go again
The bus never arrived to collect us as organized we waited for 2 and 1/2 hours so ended up getting a taxi
This resort is near the airport, and near Denaru sea connections. For 1 night or 2, in between, this is a nice resort.
If you want magnificient beaches and wonderful resort, then you better go north to small islands.
right in front of the sea, nice landscape.
Airport shuttle did not show up (taxi from the airport = 15 FJD), front desk man was the *only* rude person we found in Fiji. Located far from the city (you have no place to go by foot, not even other hotels), you have to rely on taxis. Premises are essential and stuck in the seventies, desperately needs refurbishment. They do not offer shuttle to the airport, only *from* the airport. We found a cockroach in the food.
It was quiet and it had a great Fiji feel about the place.
The rubbish on the beach needs to be cleaned up. For a family the price of the meals were too expensive.
cabins, good breakfast, ocean view, quiet and relaxing.
broken glass all over the beach
