Staff were awesome, always friendly and helpful. Rated 3 star so no pretentiousness with other guests. Everyone was having a great time and had time for a chat. Rooms are basic 3 star, but rest of the resort is excellent with top notch food and facilities.
Everything - facility especially service
Having to leave
Location good ,staffexcellent , food really good with local cuisine.reasonable prices for food and drinks.
The Villa we were given was very " tired" in need of renovation., however the other newer villas appeared excellent and well appointed. When this was pointed out to management they were sympathetic and in agreement. We also had problems with no water at times..This was not rectified until our departure time when we saw a new pump being installed at our Villa.
- Location & Villa's were very comfortable - Food was the best my husband & I have had tasted in Vuda Point - Friendly Staff
- Due to pre-booking our stay with First Landing only 2/3 nights were available so we had to relocate from a Garden view to an Ocean view. - Waiting time took 10 x visits to reception we were there for my brothers Wedding my husband & I had waited for 1hr this made our trip not enjoyable we were almost late to the Wedding. - Restrictions on Pool use times was very limited did'nt even make use of the Pool on our stay.
very kind staff nice pool clean and comfortable apartment
the beach but maybe I was there with the low tide.
Location was good, nice beach and friendly staff. Good value for money. Meals good ,dinners are the stand out. The resort offers some activities for guests which is nice if you don't to leave the resort. The resort Spa was pleasant and the neighbouring marina was good to visit also.
Some noise from neighbouring villas and the local crane train passing by but overall it was manageable.
polite and helpful staff, native atmosphere, tasty cuisine
we couldn't swim on the beach near the hotel becouse all day were low tides
Very pleasant resort with lovely views and gardens. Facilities comfortable.
Close to the oil facilities so a great stop-over en route to an outer resort, or for work in Lautoka (only 15 mins away).
We were looking for sun, sea and total relaxation. This was all achieved 100% in a totally friendly environment where we felt at home and met some great people. Food was also excellent.
At the staff choir evening the owner/manager commandeered the best table in the house and had food served to him immediately while many others were waiting, not a good look!
Massages Pool Sunsets Outlook Staff
the little cottages were very comfortable, had a nice pool
checking out was a pain
Restaurant at the hotel was ok. Restaurant at the marina next door was very good. Free foot massage was also good.
Bathroom was dirty and there were ants all over the walls. Staff did not tidy up around pool area and when we asked for towels we were told there was only 1 left! Hotel is located next to an oil/gas storage facility. The beach is not very nice, especially when the tide goes out.
I liked the layout of the bures in the grounds which were very tropical. The restaurant was excellent and I enjoyed the free foot massage, a nice extra. The staff were very friendly and helpful
The first bure we were in 201 (we stayed twice between cruise) needed updating but the 2nd one was very nice no 203 although was dearer
I liked the size of the units, they were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were nice. It was well serviced. The deck room you could sit in separate from the bedroom was lovely enjoying the view from there. The food was excellent
My husband didnt like the proximity to the painting at the marina.
good resort for a stop-over on the way to the islands
The staff were very attentive and mindful of our requests.
I was disappointed with not much visibility in the water for snorkelling and not much marine life to see near the resort. However, the rest of the resort and services made up for it.
We loved the First Landing! The staff was excellent and they were so kind to our daughter. The bures are clean, comfortable and spacious. We would love to come back again without hesitation.
The food could be improved- seemed like they tried to do a little of everything (huge menu) but not everything was successful.
Too quiet, small main pool
Pool,some food ,bush island views
Generator goin from yard next to our up graded unit
Thought the resort was fantastic. Eye for detail was great. Would recommend to anyone.
The resort has all of the amenities that are nice to have (e.g., spa, bures, activities). The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is good but a bit variable -- some things are really tasty and some things are just OK.
The location was not ideal. We were put off by its vicinity to a very large gas/oil processing plant. The resort also seems a little past its prime.
Amazing staff that become family
Bit isolated, expensive wifi
Staff were fantastic and very helpful with useful advice and suggestions.
We stayed 4 nights in a Private Villa which we found excellent. When we were last here in 2011 we suggested that more local food be added to the menu. Management have listened and were really impressed with the range of local food and standard of cooking and presentation. We will be back.
Not much to not like really, only small thing was that we spent our last 2 nights in an Apartment with shared facilities which was the same price as the Villa but we thought it was not quite as special. Presumably the price reflected the fact it slept 6 rather than 4 but we were just 2 plus a baby so didn't really get any value out of the extra bedroom.
missing the firedance because of the international rugby but fiji won so all is fogiven
