Novotel Suva Lami Bay  

The outlook was beautiful to the islands/water. Cocktails were reasonably priced. Breakfast was good.

Everything, wifi is free and available in lounge/bar area which is not a problem. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make stay enjoyable, food was good and available all day.Great location $10 dollars if you want to get taxi into town but again reception will arrange for you

had a lot of insects in my room and had to ask for a different room late at night, which I was annoyed about. new room was insect free.

It was near to da suva city.and easy to locate...friendly staff and rooms are very comfortable.

Sometimes replenishing of toilet paper, few times had to ask.

Staff were extra helpful. We had left behind some items and when we called a real nice gentle named "Vesa" was extremelyhelpful in trying to locate the items. He called us back with the good news that the items were in fact left behind and would make arrangements to return it. We are coming back in August and will definitely pay him a visit. Well done Vesa. You deserve a star.

It was average

The ants coming from behind the computer desk. The lack of things to do in the hotel. The boring hospital type corridors and the restaurant prices. When you go to a hotel you expect it to be a pleasure and that you get a feeling of luxury. This place was worse than the house we rent in Denarau. And our pool is bigger!

The fact that we arrived after 5pm to be told out room was not ready and they gave us a room that the sheets were not changed from the previous people, yuk and I didn;t know untill the next morning when I threw back the covers, We had booked for 7 nights and that was unacceptable.

I hate the fact that they put a floating restaurant (or something like that) just behind the hotel, blocking part of the great view of the bay. That's was really a bad idea. I will never stay in this hotel again

Excellent service

No wifi in rooms

I really liked the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were wonderful, from the reception workers to the cleaning staff, everyone was warm and welcoming. Food was pretty good at the restaurant.

Towels were an issue and I believe this is due to outsourcing. It was hard to get one for the pool. I also thought it would be a very good idea to get umbrellas for the pool chairs on the upper deck. It is simply too hot to sit out there and enjoy relaxing by the pool without them.

The Value for money was excellent at Novotel Suva. Although it was a little out of the way, it was very easy to catch taxis which did not cost to much about $13FJD was the most we paid to get to the city centre and to centrepoint. The staff offered a free cot and also offered to set it up. Which was done quickly. Our stay was very enjoyable., and would definetly stay again there. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were such a delight to stay in, we also stayed in Novotel Nadi, and the standard room we got was terriable so Suva Novotel is a 100% better than Nadi Novotel.

The food was okay, but after 10 days the menu got a bit boring. When we rang reception at times it took a little while for them to repsond for our request which got a it frusterating as we where travelling with a 21 month old so what we needed was urgent. They do need a few upgrades around the kitchen area and the defiently need to have someone come clear the water near the resturant as it was littered with rubbish.

Location

I arrived at about 11.30am which was before check in time but I had to wait until 2.30 to get into my room and this was only because I kept asking. Then I had no keycard, so no power in room until about 4pm and again I only got it then because I kept asking. Very noisy, people seemed to be staying in the corridoors Stayed for 3 days, room wasn't cleaned on first or second day. I said not to bother to do it on second day as they were about to start at 6pm at night.

Fantastic setting, very calming staff very responsive, food good. Was there during TC Evan was very well managed.

Relaxing atmosphere

1)Husk resturaunt service too slow 2)Business room, not one computer working 3)There are flares out on the boardwalk which would enhance the atmosphere even more but they choose only to light them on demand, seems to be some misplaced economy measure which is a shame 4)They don't seem to credit my Accor Club points for staying there

Freindly & Staff location & food

It's a beautiful hotel and I had a great room with all the amenities that I needed. The wi-fi isn't free, but luckily I was close enough to the lobby to be able to receive the signal in my room. The view from the long balcony of the water, the boats and the islands was fabulous.

The atmosphere of the Novotel is what I liked the best. It is relaxed, professional and friendly.

I had a very comfortable stay.

the cleaness of the room is very poor.the bed linen smell curry.the people underneath my room were smoking and all the smoke went up to my room
