    Fijian Staff were lovely and kind to my grandson,

    The cleanliness in our Bura was poor, dust and fluff on lights near bed, not enough lighting to read during day unless you lay on the bed. There were dead flies and other insects in shutters area. TV did not work for 3 days nor did the video, it had a large black line on it all the time. They came to fix it three times Shower pole collapsed on top of me, it was fixed and next day the sliding holder screw came off and the fitting shower rose fell on me, both times I was washing my hair and could not see properly becauses of suds in my hair. gave me a fright. It was fixed next day. The door cards never worked, we were always going back to reception for new ones, sometimes three times a day, and were told that it was due to the slot were we put it to put on the electricity demagniti them, so we did not do this, still did not open door. Worn out from going back and forth all day. No hot water for two days had to have cold showers as they could not fix it, we were leaving in two days so not worth moving rooms, many other guests were experiencing the same thing. Asked for phone calls to be put through, wrong numbers even after I repeated and repeated the number, but was still charged. Wifi did not work in the room and I paid for two hours and only managed to get one short email sent. It kept saying that the network address was down and to go into it later. Waiting one and a half hours one night for our meal after ordering, everyone else had theirs and were joking with us as to whether we were actually ever going to get it. When it did finally arrive it was awful, just bowl of cold rice with a few bits of prawn in it. Meals were not very good and quite pricey. Often very cold. Ordered drinks on two nights and did not get them but when I went to sign bill they charged for them, this was fixed when I complained. The decking around the dining/pool area was broken, and in bad repair once I stepped on a plank and it came up.

    This resort was great value for money. Close enough to the airport but still feels like you are on holidays. If you are booking an all inclusive just make sure they run through all the terms and conditions with you... We got stuck paying most our meals as it only runs on certain types of meals and drinks. Staff are friendly but do take time do to what you need done. I would rate this resort about a 8 out of 10 for Fiji

    too isolated depressing environment,depressing music and restaurant really bad food not nice to swim in a brown ocean and swimming pool too shallow far too expensive for what it was

    The location of the hotel

    very poor food, rundown, dirty, bad service tue to few staff. They are chnging hads now in August 2014 and the current owner clearly didn't want to spend an extra penny on the hotel

    The views were great

    The hotel needs a good do up - looking very tired and neglected. Photos from when the property was first built looks stunning but don't think any maintenance has been done since

    Location and facilities, especially for kids

    poor organisation - they had lost our booking, so we had to wait while they found us a room. The room did not have the facilities that they said it would have. Service was poor at restaurant. Maitre d' asked us to wait for a table, but he then disappeared. I had to find him (after half an hour) and remind him we were still waiting. Wait staff took our drink orders and then just disappeared.

    The staff was extremely helpful! Johny at reception was a star! Always ready for help and suggestions, particularly with our airport transfers.

    The location is not too centrally located but not too bad - 25 minutes to the airport.

    The location was fantastic and the views were amazing from our 2 bedroom Bure. The food and beverage packages were fairly well priced for the inclusions.

    The cleanliness of the resort and rooms was questionable, there was no traditional welcome to arriving guests with a shell lei like at the previous 2 resorts I have stayed at in Fiji, the staff lacked enthusiasm and not a lot of the traditional fijiian holiday experience was happening. Our transfers to the Airport the day of departure never showed, despite being confirmed the evening prior and upon checkout. A driver arrived to collect us, which we assumed was our arranged transfer, only to be asked once we arrived at the airport for a $40 fee as he was from a different resort. I confirmed numerous times with the resort the there would be a Car seat for my 2 year old daughter and was told on each occasion that there would be one supplied, yet there was not one in either car that transferred us to and from the airport, I would have brought mine from home if they had been honest in the first place. Overall it was a pretty disappointing holiday, I would not return here for a holiday, i'd rather pay the extra and stay elsewhere. It is deffinately not 4.5 star as advertised!

    Enjoyed the boat ride leaving the resort

    Seemed like the staff didn't want to be there. I asked for towels for the pool was told by reception they will bring it out soon an hour later no towel, ended up walking to the room with no towel! The room I was in was dirty found rat poo on the sheets, no phone in the room, smoke alarm was broken. Spent $200 on food 1st time around got the wrong Order, food was over priced for budget food. Was told the left overs will be brought to my room and of course it wasn't! Will never go back!

    Our room was very comfortable

    Micky Mouse outfit to say the least .I have stayed in over 20 Resorts around Fiji and this is the only one I have ever felt compelled to write a bad report on .From billing me wrongly to waiting over an hour for each meal (if it came at all !)to running out of beach towels to forgetting to do the torch lighting ceremony ,this place was a real Faulty Towers and I left feeling very ripped off

    Loved this place, island paradise! Huge pool, staff were fantastic & friendly. Food was excellent, had an amazing honeymoon here.

    Listed activities didn't always go ahead if the minimum number of people did not sign up, just be flexible.

    Beautiful away from it all location with tremendously friendly and enthusiastic staff

    Possibly a bit too far away from it all, making it difficult to reach other places, but I would go again

    nice resort garden, picturesque main house

    pick up was arranged but did not turn up, needed to get a taxi on our own. beach bures are really old, bad interior, very dated. ripped and not sealed fly screens. dripping fridge, dripping aircondition. balcony doors did not close. expensive compared to island resort, app. 2 f$ more than on island resort. staff really sometimes are unorganised and uninformed. internet was very expensive and did not work sometimes. the beach was nearly impossible to use, dirty and washed up wood and garbage. Not close to other hotels or restaurants so resort restaurant is only choise.

    Gardens and landscape are very nice. Good size bure. Fijian staff are lovely although the Indian staff are not genuinely that friendly.

    We could not checkin until 4hrs later as they incorrectly allocated a bure with 2 separate dbl beds for my wife and I (even though I had booked 4 months earlier). Over populated with noisy indulgent kids and you are really stuck at the premises as it is out of the way. This leaves you having to use a pool that was dirty and mouldy in some corners and the beach is no better as it is muddy from the river systems that connect to it. Food was average quality and cooked for the masses (burgers, chips, greasy food, etc). Food and drink prices are deceptive as their menu cards refer to Australian prices based on currency rates dating back to March 2013 when it was favourable. Room service missed replacing items including cleaning products, missing glasses and restocking of tea/coffee/sugar. Finally, not very accommodating when it came to late checkout after 11am and very willing to charge $55FJD late fee after 11am and $110FJD after 3pm, so you are pretty much stuck at reception with no access to your room if you have an evening flight.

    Room was big and cleaned daily, loved the pool

    Staff were slow,they kept running out of ingredients so we had to change our meal orders, waited 14hrs for towels one day, hotel transfers from the airport didnt turn up, hotel shuttle took us to a village then forgot to pick us back up.

    Lovely views and settings.

    We should've checked out after the first night. Bugs(tiny light brown mites smaller than a flea) in the beds in both of the rooms that we had reserved. Complained to staff had all linen changed for the bugs to return once again . Towels seemed to be a problem both for the rooms and for the pool. Louvred shutters in rooms were not fully functional, broken fan, expensive and inconvenient wifi can only be used in the reception area. No laundry facilities available, laundry charged per item washed. Whole resort in major need of refurbishment and maintenance. Could be a five star resort if a major overhaul of services and facilities is undertaken. Would not recommend this resort despite the lovely setting and views.
