The reception staff that demand full payment of the accomodation when you check-in. The reception staff that forget to mention that there is free airport shuttle. The walk to the cottages especially if you have cottage 4, 5 or 6. The small rooms, the limited towels in the room, apparently if you give your towel in to be washed you have to wait until late evening to get fresh towels :) first hotel where i experienced this. The rooms need updating and proper cleaning, the room also needs some new paint, as its quite moldy. There is only one small tiny window which is located in the bathroom for ventilation purposes not good. There is a surcharge when you use visa or mastercard i think 2 per cent or 5 per cent. Some rooms have no outdoor sitting area like ours so have to come all the way outside to get fresh air. There is no ironing board or iron in the room only one located next to the laundry so you have to do your ironing in public. Overall the hotel requires updating as the room facilities are worn out and the furniture is so old and smelly especially the cupboards you dont want to put your stuff in there as it will end up smelling. We only stayed here cause of the special deal, but will think twice if deciding to stay here again next time. Also the hotel area is not well lit so is a concern for security at night, especially when you need to walk to the reception, etc. There is no wifi in this hotel.
The surroundings, the pool area and bar facilities, the guest laundry facilities were FJD3 a wash and FJD3 for drying which was very helpful especially if you need to do a heap of laundry. The free airport shuttle to or from Nadi airport. The location next to shops and just a bus ride away from Nadi town and the airport. The convenience store located in the hotel vicinity which opens until 7pm or 9pm at night. The air conditioning is brilliant.
