The muddy beach front has been dregged out, unlike the Hideaway who has
access to surf and a white sandy beach. The noise at night, parties went
to all sorts of late hours, we were there for early days to surf, so
sleep was very disrupted. The value for money is poor, food is so
expensive per person, and there is one option on the menu each night,
with nowhere else to eat they have you ring fenced! I can eat at a 5
star restaurant in Sydney Australia for a better price! The cost of the
boat to the surf breaks is double what you pay at Plantation Island
& the boat broke down! Plantation will take you when you want!
Waidroka are so late to start, one day we didnt depart until 8:30am, all
those waves missed!!!!! Lastly, I seem to have been attacked by bed
bugs, we will never return or recommend for anyone to stay at this
resort. There are so many better locations, with better access to surf
The location is remote and feels secure, the kitchen staff and diving
& surf guide are really friendly.
