Location brilliant, many good value restaraunts on side roads leading to Esplanade.Quiet. The most friendly helpful staff. Esp Eva..
Small double bed, narrow needed twins as husband over 6ft tall
near the beach，Wi-Fi、staff、room are good.
It was clean, the staff was kind, it is very close to the beach and the old town is also in a short walk.
It is noisy in the night because of the street.
noisies inside the hotel, weak walls and doors. when our neighbours arrived to their room, it was like enter into ours.
Stayed here for two nights. Basic but cheap for Nice. Excellent location 10mins walk from train station and 100m from beach. Noisy street so shut window and used air con and slept well. Great hot shower. No noise from other rooms. Great little food places and supermarket near by. We would stay here again because of location and we backpack on a budget.
Curtains smelled bit of smoke and under bed hadnt been cleaned but for this price you dont expect the Ritz. Bathroom was pretty clean....but this is a basic hotel!!!
Great location, friendly staff, very clean and quiet...We would stay there again.
The location was excellent given the price. The presentation and cleanliness of the room were. Didn't spend much time in room as out exploring all day. Good wifi signal. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
Pillows were not good quality, had to request extra. No lift. One of the staff did not have good knowledge of local geography so when asked for directions he couldn't help us.
Near to Beach
Pillows and bed are not comfortables at all
The room was clean. It is really basic, but sufficient. There is air conditioning. They charge 8 euros for breakfast which would include a small pot of coffee and a simple pastry type meal. The reception staff was very friendly.
The owner was afraid that bars of soap would slip down the shower drain and clog it, so no soap was provided in the bathroom, other than two packets of shower gel. Be sure to bring your own! There was a safe in the room, but it wasn't attached to the wall and was very easy to pick up, so we didn't use it.
location cleaness staff
A/C was very bad when working and stopped working the second night. There is no elevator so if you are on the 3rd floor, like I was, be prepared to climb 4 stories. The curtains are sheer green which blocks out almost no sunlight or sound. This was especially annoying for rooms that face the street.
The room was freshly decorated and clean. It had a good location being close to the town and only a short walk away from the beach. The bed was very basic but had clean white sheets and the room was serviced every day. Fresh clean, white towels were provided.
The air conditioning in the room worked intermittently and the shower did not drain. We slept with the windows open and the main street outside was very noisy. There are no facilities within the rooms to make a drink. The bed was very hard and had one very flat pillow.
No soap in the room. No english channel in tv.
The location is nice .the room is quite clean
I request the room which is good wifi but they give me the room even cannot connect the wifi.i have to go first floor to use it.
Room good for family with bunks. WiFi worked. We stored a bag for a wek cheerfully at no cost.
Breakfast not great. Two options does not seem to work that well.
Not far from train station -10-15' walk from the hotel to station, and right behind the famous Negresco, close to the Promenade des Anglais! The room is spacious!
great value, great location and friendly staff. the rooms are basic but clean, pretty central and only about 200m from the beach and just a short walk around the corner from the airport shuttle bus stop. thought the express breakfast was pricey at e4.50 for a coffee croissant and orange juice but on reflection pretty standard as Nice generally is very expensive for everything. (you can pay e4.20 for a Fanta!!) Staff very helpful and friendly - let us put our hire bikes in the cupboard over night which was great
Location near the beach, shops and restaurants. In general good because of the location. Good value of money
Small room, noise from the conditioning and street. No shelf in the shower and no hairdryer.
Location Staff was helpful
Very noisy Dark hallways
Great location, very close to the sea and not far from old town. helpful staff
small room, old facilities
Let's get straight to the point: the place has a super location! Right behind the Negresco it's literally 50 meters from the beach (public and private beaches can be found), 10 minutes walk to place massena (and the very center of nice) an 15 minutes walk to the train station. Travelling alone it is a very safe area, also for a girl and restaurants and bars are right around the corner! A bakery is next door, if you like it more healthy, there is a awesome breakfast place 2 streets up: fruit, yogurt, eggs... I can't say something about the hotels petit déje, 'cause ai had none
Aircon worked all the time but: it has to - as you can not open the windows during night because of the noise from the street and from 7.30 am the traffic starts jammin'. Please note: if your windows are closed, you might not hear a thing! I had a superior doubleroom: well there was light and a generous bathroom with a large shower, but with nearly a weeks stay (and thats means luggage) I can not immagine, where another person would have fitted (superior double) Last 2 things: - there is no elevator (i knew that) and you have to lift your suitcase up! Staff is ready to help you with luggage and everything!! - the room was clean when I checked in and I got fresh towels if requested but: for 120 € a night without breakfast and a 6 nights stay, I would expect somebody to clean the toilet and shower and to sweep the room!
Nice reception with smile on face every day and night, deal with all kinds of problems with patience. The location is too superior, only 15 mins work to the Eiffel Tower and a 1min walk to the underground and bus station. The restaurants nearby are very tasty and ausentic. There are also small cafés with nice bread baking every morning.
The facilities in the room are some kind crude, without a pot to boil drinkable water inside the room.
Staff was very friendly and accomodating (thank you ladies!). Location was excellent, super close to the beach (right behind Hotel Negresco). Easy walking distance to tons of restaurants and all attractions. Railway station a 10 minute walk and bus stations also close by. Bed very comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, and the A/C worked perfectly (ran at night, opened windows during day). I would stay here again if in Nice.
Wifi could have been better, worked better in different parts of the room. Room 101 backs up to the kitchen, so was a bit noisy when the dishes from breakfast were being cleared. There was also some noise through the closed and shuttered windows from the street at night, but it was also a holiday weekend, so lots of tourists in town.
Only 1 shutter on the window. Ridiculously small room for a family and we specially asked to not have bunk beds
small room no lobby
