Logis Du Lac  

Breakfast was expensive for what we had.. No vegetarian option in hotel restaurant.

Wonderful setting in a beautiful little town with 2 truly great restaurants, castle and Lac Tranquille. The reception staff were super.

Restaurant was very limited and overpriced! Rooms were truly in need of a great deal of restoration. No lift and very steep staircase. Very poor breakfast ( @ € 8.50! ) offered only sweet things - no ham or cheese which is normal for a French Buffet.

Friendly and helpful owner, spoke good English. Position was very good on the lakeside and on edge of village easy to reach shops and bars.

The first room we were shown had a double bed - not suitable for two heterosexual males! The next room was up a narrow, winding staircase, quite difficult to manage with heavy suitcases. It had three single beds but we had to keep the bathroom door permanently closed because there was a permanent smell of lavatories drifting into the bedroom. If we'd been staying more than one night I would have asked to be moved to another room.

Location as a short break stop over,

1) No in room tea/coffee facilities 2) we travelled during the day but found that having a drink in the bar on our return seemed to be a problem with the staff they just wanted to close.

Beautiful location and very helpful staff. We were arriving late (as in after midnight) with bicycles and the staff were very friendly and keen to ensure that we had no problems getting in or storing bikes (and not all hotels are so accommodating!)

The location next to the lake

Good position, at the edge of the village, overlooking the lake and close to the Chateau. Handy for St Malo and the ferries. The hotel is very pleasant but it is not easy to find the rooms for some reason and guests found it a bit of a maze. We were in an attic room, the last available as it was Pentecost. Satisfactory with good bathroom. Very clean. Had a lovely meal in the dining room overlooking the lake.staff friendly, helpful and efficient.

A pity there is no lift.A Pity the shower room was quite so small.

nous avons reçu un acceuil vraiment très chaleureux. Notre chambre avec vue sur le Lac très bien située. mais surtout très propre. Linge de toilette changé tous les jours. Petit déjeuner très copieux à volonté. Croissanterie chaude , beaucoup de choix. Repas excélent avec des spécialités. Très copieux. Bien conseillé par un personnel qualifé. Vraiment nous retournerons dans cet établissement qui a beaucoup de charme.

Accueil chaleureux, cuisine excellente, tres bon raport qualité-prix, vue sur le lac est a tomber. La propriétaire nous a offert une chambre vue lac, au prix d'une chambre double, sans supplément!! L'équipe est tres pro! Et tres accueillante; merci pour ce week-end romantique réussi grace à vous.
