It's in a great location and Combourg is a lovely place and we know it very well. Pleased to see a room we previously stayed has been refurbished to a very good standard however a small wardrobe/hanging rail would be useful.We had a very good meal in the restaurant as always and thorougly enjoyed our breakfast. We noticed most of the staff spoke very good English as well.

Beautiful tranquil setting overlooking a lake. Easily accessible and not too far from ferry port at St Malo.

Would never stay here again.The noise on the Saturday night kept us awake until 1am despite asking the reeption to tone it down zero out of 10

I missed French cheese on breakfast ???? In France ??? I guess this is not acceptable.

The rooms are absolutly not soundproof; I could not only hear the people in the neighbooring rooms but also the persons they were talking to over the phone.

Location as a short break stop over,

1) No in room tea/coffee facilities 2) we travelled during the day but found that having a drink in the bar on our return seemed to be a problem with the staff they just wanted to close.

It was a great location and convenient for our morning ferry from St Malo, our main reason for our stay. It was quiet and the village/town was very picturesque. The view from the breakfast room over the lake was lovely and we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the surrounding area and castle.

The resturant seemed quite expensive so we did not eat there.

It's located between the castle and the lake; we stayed there 2 nights and during the daytime we visited Brittany. We were in 5 and they gave us two near rooms; the room for three was actually a two-room apartment and it has a big bathroom with the castle view! :) The staff has been really kind and cordial. The breakfast is served in a big hall on the lake side. We really enjoyed the hotel!

The hotel was bike friendly and let us park our bikes in the garage for free. The price. For three was reasonable.

It was the first day of a heat wave, and our room was on the top floor. It was stifling with no fan or air conditioning which made it hard to sleep.i The room was small for three people, but was clean. Unfortunately, the heat brought out the mosquitos, and the window didn't have a screen. Under different conditioms, it would have been fine. My advice is to request a room on a lower level if the weather is hot.

Good position, at the edge of the village, overlooking the lake and close to the Chateau. Handy for St Malo and the ferries. The hotel is very pleasant but it is not easy to find the rooms for some reason and guests found it a bit of a maze. We were in an attic room, the last available as it was Pentecost. Satisfactory with good bathroom. Very clean. Had a lovely meal in the dining room overlooking the lake.staff friendly, helpful and efficient.

A pity there is no lift.A Pity the shower room was quite so small.

the room was small it was not cleaned properly rubbish still in the bin no tea/coffee making facilities noisy you could here next door talking using toilet etc we made a request on the booking form about our booking but got no reply
