The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The service was excellent as was the food. The room was very well fitted out, and the bathroom was very modern and large.. Larger people might struggle withe the loo, where there was very little clearance between tne door and the wc. Like most French hotels of 2 and 3 stars the only chairs are dining chairs. Why can't they provide comfortable seating?

We selected this Hotel as a stopover on our trip south. A good Hotel which fully met our needs and expectations. A comfortable room. We hadn't realised that the Hotel had a pool so that was a bonus. We had both dinner and breakfast in the Hotel, both meals were good. The Hotel is about 20 minutes walk or a short drive from the town centre itself.

Peaceful atmosphere, lovely pool and garden, stunning terrace for al fresco meals - perfect. Hotel rooms spacious and light but perhaps bedroom and bathrooms a little dated in furnishings and fittings. Blinds may be useful when weather hot.

We have stayed at Le Rabelais before,and this time we took two friends with us on our way to a river cruise on the Dordogne.They also loved the hotel, and I am sure that they will return, as we did.

Nous avons eu une chambre cote jardin au calme. Nous avons été surclassé car ils n'avaient pas de dispo dans la catégorie choisie. Les chambres (luxe au lieu de supérieur) ont été rénovée et sont vraiment très belles et modernes. A la réception ils sont très pro Resto complet a l'arrivée

Personnel très acceuillant, les chambres sont très propres. Le lit est grand et très confortable. La situation géographique de l'hôtel, en plein marais poitevin et presque à cheval sur trois départements est un atout. La piscine est appréciable. Hôtel idéal pour les vacances en famille, à la découverte des départements 17, 85 et 79.

Lo más bonito del hotel era el jardín y la piscina aunque no los pudimos disfrutar por falta de tiempo. No nos gustó que el hotel no disponía de un salón confortable para poder descansar, tomar algo, etc

La picsine, le departement de vendée qui reste une destination avec un semblent de sud malgré sa situation geographique milieu de la france. Hotel tres agreable bon rapport qualité prix Juste une petite deseption sur la qualité du restaurant soit disant 3 etoiles de l'hotel. Le buffet à volonté tres mediocre, nourriture congelé!!!

Etablissement trés bon rapport qualité, prix! Le personnel de l'établissement est trés sympatique et à l'écoute des demandes. Le restaurant offre une carte génereuse et de bonne qualité. La picsine et le sauna sont un plus fort sympatique.

La situation de la chambre en rez de chaussée,le jardin arboré et surtout la piscine,la salle de jeux que les enfants ont adoré.C'est un bonheur de se retrouver dans ce cadre après une journée harrassante.Les repas ont été appréciés par petits et grands.
