Comfort of room Location was decent- close to Gare du Nord for those using the station Decent value for money in an expensive city Lots of shops and cafes around
Rude staff - demanded a print out of the reservation from booking.com even when offered ID and credit card to prove we had the reservation. Refused to let us use their own printer to print it out.
- Clean room - Good location - Near metro-station - Helpfull staff
- Small/oldish room - No smoking policy - No balcony
Wifi was good Staff were nice I traveled by train, snd it wss fairly close to that
A double room we booked, was toooo small, we could not move. It was fairly clean but no soap or hand wsshing liquid.
for a budget traveller that can use the metro easily its a good choice. The more ethnic nature of the neighbourhood gives great food choices. Staff was very cheery and helpfull.
A bit grungy place but considering the price its very inexpensive. The bathroom had a sewage drain in it, so when the room above's plumbing was in use, ie a flush or a shower: lots of noise. Neighbourhoods a bit rough but authentic french surburbia in its nature.
The staff was very friendly. They even cacncelled our breakfast for the next day because of the fact that we wanted to have it somewhere outside. We stayed there for two nights and it was OK except for the breakfast.
The breakfast consists of only 2 pancakes, bread, jam, butter and tea or coffee. There was very bad smell in the room.
-close to canals -close metro -safe area -staff really friendly and helpful
Nothing, good value for the money spent.
Good location Friendly staff
The bathroom too small
The comfort and the super staff they are sooo helpful especially Mr.YUSSEF who helps in all ways and the wonderful lady SILA she is everywhere as well as Mr.IMAD. The beauty of this small cute hotel is that it has a 24 hours reception and it is near many shops and metro and brasseries.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even when we told them we can find our way into the city, they insisted on telling us shorter ways to go to Eiffel Tower. They really made us feel like VIP :) The room was small and cosy. It was cheap for Paris. Very close to metro station and the canal.
we did not like our noisy neighbors, but it would be unfair to expect sound proof walls at a 2 star hotel. Other than that, everything was perfect.
Good location, nice staff, very basic rooms, but clean, good wifi
thin bedsheets, very thin walls, a lot of noise in the hallway in the morning, you hear everyone coming and going
Safety nice neighbourhood
The female receptionist was very rude to me when i arrived, the only thing she said was "your document" not even a "bonjour". When i wanted to show her the booking confirmation on my phone she said "no i need paper" and she send me away to print it somewhere. If they didnt have my creditcard details i would have left right away, ive travelled all around the world and work as a receptionist myself and never have experienced something like this before. The room was small and not very clean, the bathroom is a plastic box in the corner of the room and the shower is so small i had to get out to put shampoo in my hair because you just cant move in it at all. Matras and pillows very uncomfortable. It is located close to a metro stop, but its not in a very nice neighbourhood, didnt feel safe walking around after sunset by myself so i didnt. I really dont know why this hotel has such a good rating, i suggest to pay a little bit more and stay somewhere else!!
cozy room, nice staff, the staff five us lots of good suggestion about Paris travel.
A little far from MRT.
Location is quite good
No kettle in the room is a little bit unconvinence
I liked that they gave me a hairdryer, when it became necessary to dry my hair
Hospitable staff Nice location (Jaures subway, Gard du Nord) all very close Clean rooms, ok size tub.
some detergents give unpleasant odor dark room inside: (grey color) - they had better decorated it some or used more bright colors. poor sound isolation. (which did not though disturb much)
This Hotel is really Close to a Metro stop. I was surprised by the good size of the room. I was expecting a lot smaller for a Parisian Hotel. The staff were very friendly. The room had everything you needed.
The room didn't seem super clean when we arrived. Dust around the floor at the skirting boards.
stuff was very helpful and jaures metro station is very close to the hotel which has 3 metro lines connection.
shower doesn't have a cabin
The hotel is situated very close to the metro station. The staff is nice and friendly
Location near Canal St Martin and Jaures metro.
Everything else!!! Shower so dirty, long black hair everywhere, someone else's used razor left on base by plug hole. Only one very poor pillow each and when requested more, 'will have to ask manager in morning'(!!!?)Bit late by then. Sheets were holed and dirty (looked like blood!) Had poor experience here last year, gave it second chance but even worse this time. NEVER AGAIN ! Staff abrupt and disinterested. Worst hotel experience ever.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent.
The room was a little small but comfy.
price, location, staff
noise from the other rooms, street
Staff very nice n friendly, liked conti breakfast especially pain au chocolate which were fresh n yummy
The staff is amazing - what this hotel lacks is decorations, it makes up for in kind hearted and conscientious workers - especially Hashim, who helped me find a way to print online tickets AND the morning guy, he chased me 1.5 blocks when we departed for the airport, because I left my iPhone and charger in the breakfast area.
