The hotel room was tiny, there was hardly any room to put one small suitcase! The bathroom was just as small! The reception staff was not helpful when requesting for information. The hotel communal computer was infested with "virus"! There is a systems warning that flshes up whenever the PC is used to warn about the "Virus". All it would have cost was for the hotel management to pay for a security software to be loaded into the computer. Because of the "viruses", one could not use the computer to collect one's email. |

It's close proximity to the major attractions, museums in particular of Paris. We also enjoyed the charm and cozyness of a small inn. Although we would have preferred a larger bedroom, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the bathroom (given European standards) and really appreciated the fact that the air conditioning worked well and heavy draperies kept out the morning sun. When we arrived by train to Paris, we took a taxi to the hotel. However, we didn't get very far because of a "gay" parade traveling down the main boulevard near the side street where the Academie Hotel was. Our taxi driver practically dumped us out in the middle of the city without a map or any directions as to how to walk to our hotel. We stopped at another hotel to call our hotel but they didn't offer to send anyone to pick us up. I was shocked! We had traveled all day to get there and then, had walked in circles for nearly an hour, prior to stopping off at the other hotel. I thought the fact that they didn't offer to help us by sending a driver or offering detailed walking-map instructions did not reflect well on the management or staff. The only other complaints that I have is in regard to the extremely poor lighting in the room and lack of towels. Other than those concerns (and I'm referring primarily to our transport crisis), we did enjoy our stay and the people were very helpful and friendly. |

Wonderful locaion - close to the metro and easy to walk to the Louvre. It was centrally located so easy to switch to other metro lines. The breakfast was decent with more than a croissant and coffee. Also the hotel had showers Rooms were small, but that is typical of Paris. |

Its location in the 6th arrondissement is excellent for walking access to all of the left bank and for the Louvre and many areas on the right bank. The room was plain and quite small, but perfectly adequate and it has A/C, which was critical in the summer in Paris. |

Very close to the centre of Paris and with a Vélib (bicycle) station further down the road at the other side of Bld Saint Germain. Our room wasn't on the main road and as a result was very quiet. The hotel is in urgent need of attention! Pieces of wallpaper came down, ceilings were patchy replastered, and whenever we took a shower our bathroom got flooded. Not what you expect from a "suite" in quite an expensive hotel! |

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent for walking to most museums etc. The room was very small for the price. It was not possible to turn around in the shower. The television was huge but the hotel did not have either cnn or bbc World which would have been useful. |

Its a very nice, well located hotel, with an appealing 'old world' atmosphere. I've stayed there before and will do so again. It's a bit overpriced, even by Paris standards. |

Breakfast and common rooms along with staff were exceptional. Room could use a little more color. |

The location of the hotel is everything!!! Right in the middle of "the place to be" in Paris. No need to buy the expansive breakfast at the hotel since there are many bakeries nearby that offer beautiful bread rolls and other delightful things. Bed was a bit too small (I am 1.84m) but big enough for a romantic week with my girlfriend. During our stay they were renovating on all floors. Did not cause any disturbance (they worked while we were in the city) but they should have done it years ago. Our room still needs to be renovated: half of the tiles in the bathroom are broken, ceiling is coming down and the shower is leaking. Room itselve is okay, but the ceiling needs a new paintjob. |

The location is the hotel's best asset. The hotel needs improvement. The walls need paint and the bathrooms need to be updated. |

The hotel is in a very central location. The bathroom was new and very nice. the bedroom was small, beds a bit hard and power boards sitting on the floor with the electric cords coming off it. |

The hotel was in a great location, close to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay and the Latin quarter. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and a nice decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room, the bathroom and the elevator were small but that was to be expected for a hotel in this price range. We did not have the breakfast since it didn't seem worth the 15 euro cost. |

Excellent Central location. Easy walk to Louvre, Notre Dame and Metro. Pleasant and accomadating staff. Too expensive, but not many rooms in area large enough for family of three. |

It is within walking distance of the Louvre and Musuem d'Orsay. Very old bed linens, some outlets did not work, the room was rather run-down, not quite a 3 star level more like 2 star. |

very convenient location for walking to city centre sights and metro. considerable reduction in price by booking in advance on the internet. we did not take bfast as there are plenty of local cafes. quiet hotel but near main roads but no traffic noise. the bathroom ceiling looked as if it was in need of repair. Plug in wash basin not working. |

On the Left Bank of Paris, in the residential quarter of Invalides, just a few steps from the Eiffel Tower, the Champ-de-Mars and the Champs-Elysées… you are just arrived at Les Jardins d’Eiffel. |
In between the Louvre Museum and the Palais Royal gardens, the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal benefits from an exceptional location in the heart of Paris 1st district, where fashion, shopping, culture,... |
The hotel is ideally located near the Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Montparnasse districts, the Latin Quarter and several metro lines. |
Within a stone’s throw of Jardin du Luxembourg and Carrefour de l’Odéon, this lovely little manor, offers the comfort of a high-standard stylish hotel. |
