Acropole Hotel  

It's good to know at the end of a long journey we will always have a comfortable stay with a lovely swimming pool to help iron out a few creases.

Many tv chanels Clean room Hot swiming pool, but I didn't have time to test it

It is a 2 star hotel, and it may go to 3 stars except the breakfast was very simple. Hard boiled eggs there are not very hard.

Very adequate for our purpose of over night stop. Excellent restaurant attached.

Staff helpful and pleasant. I had asked for a quiet room and was given one at the back which was simple, but clean and comfortable. It overlooked the garden and pool which might have been noisy in high summer. On site restaurant good with friendly staff. Entree buffet particularly good value. This facility made the hotel an excellent choice for a single female traveller.

We only stayed one night as we were ravelling back to England, so it was a stopover. The room was a fair size, one double bed and one single bed with ensuite bathroom and shower. It was lovely to be able to have a swim in their pool. Receptionist desk were helpful and spoke a little english, enough to explain the breakfast times. We would definitely use this hotel again. Not far from the main road, little bit in the countryside, swimming pool was a bonus and relaxing after a long drive. Good value for money.

The only thing we found disdappointing was lack of good quality towels. Towels were so thin we used our own! Only two little rounds of soap otherwise fine.

Easy location for an overnight stop when travelling to calais from south west or southern France. Good pool & excellent breakfast. Nice restaurant adjacent.

Good place to stay if you are travelling through France and need somehere to stay overnight. The restaurant nearby was very good which was fortunate as nowhere was open in Bernay on a Sunday night!

It is a basic hotel in a good position for a break in a journey to further south in France. Clean and tidy . Breakfast good . Good restaurant on the same site.

Have used the Acropole many times. Consistently good value and service every time. Clean and well run. The restaurant next door is wonderful but a bit pricey.

The cleanliness of the reception, lounge area and bedrooms. It also had a lovely (although small) swimming pool; and, although we did not use it, there was also a small gymnasium/exercise room.

The lack of a restaurant - although there was a good restaurant right next door; but it was not connected to the hotel so all meals had to be paid for on each visit to the restaurant. Similarly, drinks in the hotel had to be paid for separately on each occasion; whereas I prefer to charge everything I eat and drink on to my Room Number and settle the bill at the end of my visit.

It was easy to find as signposted well and served as a good stop-off place en route further south.

The hotel was rather soul-less and un-loved. The pool area could have been a good focal point but instead was covered with a plastic tent!

We stayed one night en route to Calais. Room was clean and quiet with a nice outlook and a comfortable bed. Very pleasant gardens and covered pool. There is a restaurant next door but quite expensive so we drove into Bernay where there are plenty. Free parking.directly in front.. It is a very attractive area.

It was too far out of Bernay although parking was easy in the centre.
