Clean room and with practical amenities. Beautiful and stylish staircase. Helpful staff. Not imposing but it would be nice to have coffee/tea in the room. Probably not French custom in hotels.

- Hotel arranged for pick up from train station, which worked out quite nicely - Picked the hotel on purpose away from station, as arriving and departing stations were different. - Location is still very good, right on Metro stop, and next to terminus for 2 buses, which go to Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and Gare du Nord. Made it easy for us to get on the bus with our luggage to go to Gare du Nord. Also found Subway and an Indian restaurant practically next door, which took care of our food needs. - Had a lot of problems with WiFi. Each floor has its own WiFi id and password and it did not work most of the time - You have to walk up one level and then walk through a corridor before reaching the lift. - Older building, but probably on par with similar properties in Paris - Bathtub, with an awkward glass door that covers only half, leaving lot of space for water to spill out, if you are having a shower. The bathroom itself is quite small. - Breakfast expensive and not included in price.

the location was perfect, the metro station was outside the hotel, everything you need was really close, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was every day clean! I think we made the right choice and I would love to stay in it again! The room was too small, but it depends, for a young couple who is out all day was ok.Also you have to go upstairs in order to take the elevator and this is quite tough if you have handbags.

close to metro, small, convenient 1 staff member. At checkout credit card machine was broken. He asked me what I was going to do! Not helpful and putting the problem on the customer. He finally let me pay hotel next door and they paid him back. Not what they would teach in hotel management classes!

Great location-Porte d' Orleans Tram and Metro stops right outside the door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Can hear some street noise at night, but not terrible. 21 steps walking up to get to elevator access on first floor was unpleasant surprise with heavy suitcase.

Well the hotel room was quit decent size for paris and the price was great!! The location was handy (nxt to metro nd gb)... Well the breafast formula was quite expensive for what it offered!!! And two days in a row we got bothered by the cleaning lady... She comes in without knocking ( what was the point of leaving our key at the reception when we left, if we would be bothered)

It is newly redone. Elevator is the usual Parisian small Rooms and hallways are well done, clean, and the room itself is very clean, well kept, quiet with double pane windows and also double windows so sleeping is quiet. The bathroom is modern as is the room. I got a good price of e 80 about 2/3 of the rack rate from your site. That price by my experience is really a Parisian bargain. The normal rate of e125 + is a bit steep for my budget. By my experience in world travel this was a find at the price. If you are comfortable with the higher price it is still a good clean warm stay. Location is easy to go anywhere but by itself is not exciting. Breakfast is steep at e12 but is only an option. Otherwise I cannot fault this place at all.

Hotel was very close to the Porte d'Orleans Metro. Just opposite you have 3 bakeries, many convenience shops with nice cheese, kebab shops, restaurants and even a flea market on the weekend. The hotel was very clean. We didnt have breakfast because it costs too much plus the bakeries opposite offered much better variety of food. We asked to check in at 10am at it was possible, We also left our luggage in the lobby on the last day to fully enjoy the day as the flight back home was at 10pm. The neighbourhood felt very safe and clean. We hada room with a balcony which was amazing. Our advice; take a travel kettle with you to make your own coffee to avoid paying 2euros each time.Or you can carry a flask with a warm drink around Paris. The tea in cafes or places like MacDonald is a mini size cup for 2euros. Just the typical stuff that most of hotels have in Paris: - paper thin walls - tiny rooms - 2 English channels on TV (CNN and BBC News) - WiFi only worked if you wanted to check emails

The staff were very friendly and the location was at the end of a Metro line which made it extremely convenient to access any Part of Paris from right outside the hotel entrance. A bargain compared to the hotel prices in the center of the city. The only downside was that it had no air conditioning and we were in the middle of a hot spell. It didn't bother us as the cross-draft from the bathroom window to the street window cooled the room off quite nicely.

Lovely room with balcony and large bathroom with excellent shower. Lots of space, good bed. Great internet connection in the room. Very quiet; there is a very busy road outside but I couldn't hear anything! Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no way to get a drink in the hotel. There is no kettle or anything in the room and no bar/restaurant. If you want a drink you have to go outside! This is really annoying for an otherwise brilliant hotel.
