I loved the design of the entrance, bar, and lounge area, very boutiquey. Staff were nice and our room was ready as requested when we arrived early in the morning which we were thankful for as we flew at 6am The carpet in our room had stains on it, and i felt that the room did not represent the price we paid, i think the extra money probably covered the bathrobe and slippers! And the decoration was not up to 4* standard, had it matched that of the communial area and entrance then it would've been one of the most attractive hotels! |

The staff were very polite and very helpful. There was a nice bar where you could relax. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. The double bed had two single matresses stuck together with each matress made up into a single bed. |

Clean, modern business class hotel. Short walk to the old city and beach. It was a little stuffy for our honeymoon trip. Seemed to cater more to business class and tour groups. But still a good value for the room. |

Nothing really! The room and furniture were quite worn out and in bad shape. There were many stains everywhere. The bed was very uncomfortable. See above. There was nothing to like about this hotel. This hotel was DEFEFINTELY not a four star. May be 2 star at the most. |

Centre of town location - walking distance to main sites & good public transport. Don't need to go to indicated "touristy" parts of town to find a good restaurant - there are some good places v close to the hotel. I think the decoration of the room and the hotel was *not* up to a 4- star Hotel. Room safe inoperable (although not needed), wardrobe door fixings incomplete, some carpet stains, bed much too firm. Difficult temperature control in the room. |

The early check in time to our room when we arrived was not an issue, staff very helpful and informed. Bar a little quiet and not cosy and inviting, hence we only had one quick drink there during our stay. |

The Hotel Ellington is a short walk to the Old Town, seafront, Place Massena, and site of the Carnival celebrations. All staff members I spoke with were polite and very helpful, with directions, dining recommendations, etc. The room was clean and spacious (for a European hotel) and the bathroom had decent storage space for toiletries. In the deal I got, breakfast was not included in the room price. I thought that charging 12 Euros for it was a bit steep, though it was a lovely buffet. Since there are all sorts of cafes and kiosks nearby, it's easy to avoid eating at the hotel in the morning. There's a nice coffee and tea tray in the room, too, so you can have a morning caffeine jolt and get you going. |

Location was close but not in the middle, more in like a residential area away from all the tourists. Some staff were very helpful. When we first arrive the person in the reception didnt even look up or say hello. Not a great first impression luckily the other staff compensated for this first impression. |

We liked the location and charm. It was well lit, safe, and offered valet parking. The bed was not comfortable and the room was arranged in a very odd manner that prevented you from easily walking through the door. |

Good location between train station and beach, close to shopping. Nice reception/bar/breakfast area and nice staff. Ok for a weekend. Noise from the street day and night (only single glass windows). No information in the room about hotel facilities, breakfast hours etc. We had to mend the closet doors as they were impossible to open. The door between the bedroom and small hall was impossible to close = much noise from the corridor. This hotel is ok for a weekend, but not for a week. |

The hotel was very clean but spartan and located in a nice area of the city. Bathroom clean and relatively large by European standards. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby with bar and outside patio. Short 10 min walk to convention center, old city, and ocean. Seemed overpriced for what amounted to a very simple room (not much space in room beyond the bed). Free wi-fi internet only in lobby. Buffet breakfast good but pricey at 20 E. |

The staff is very efficient and kind. The common space is pleasant and well furnished. The cleaning service of the room was good. The buffet breakfast was very good despite a little bit costly (12 €). The hotel is well located, near the old town and the seafront. The bathroom was too small and the various services (basin, water close, shower cabin) too close to each other. |

I liked that they had air conditioning, good atmosphere/tasteful and practical interior design, free internet (in lobby only though) and a quite sturdy (and nice) breakfast buffé. |
