Hôtel Ellington  

Convenient location, easy access to main street and tram. Also, it is not far to walk to Promenade des anglais. The rooms are kept very clean and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed my stay and if I return to Nice I will book a room in this hotel .

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Convenient for Nice centre and beach. Room upgraded as it was a special occasion.Hotel is clean and welcoming.

Starting to look a bit dated. Breakfast expensive. Not enough English speaking TV channels.

The deluxe rooms are very small, hard to move around in and not to the level the website describes them to be. Overall, the rooms and hotel are not worth the price they are charging.

Very comfy bed & pillows. Great location for accessing station, beach and rest of city. Bar and terrace were good.

Maids started cleaning the corridors at 8am...noise travelled very easily so we were all awake with the crashing around!

Good location, close to central square and beach area, good bakery around the corner, laundry in the next building, close to Nicetoile shopping mall and restaurants. Reasonable price.

Good service / Design / Friendly Personell

Kind of overpriced considering its location

Very helpful and friendly staff, efficient valet parking. Great location to explore the city and surroundings. Stylish lobby bar.

No free Internet in rooms. Some room furnishings are dated. Breakfast is expensive - better to walk outside.

Location is fairly good, around 5-10 minutes from the beach. There are also good restaurants in the area (better and cheaper than the flowers market region).

The bathroom had a strange smell, I guess it wasn't related to the cleaning, seemed something from the pipes... Parking is not in the same location. They take you car somewhere you don't know. In my case they took forever to return my car when I needed.

The external space and bar was very comfortable, great for a quick drink. The valet service was good, if not a bit expensive at 25Euros a night.

We upgraded to an 'Executive Room' on arrival, the room smelt of damp, the a/c made a very loud noise and wasn't very good, the bed squeaked and creaked every time you moved, the wardrobe size was terrible and the carpet felt thin, dirty and old. The website states a 'bottle of water on arrival', we were charged for the water. Also the site states the room has robes, these were not in our room. Looking at the pictures on the website do not do this hotel justice. All in all feel very cheated as for the two nights previous we had stayed in a 4star hotel in Milan which was FAR superior and less costly than this hotel.

Staff was very gracious and friendly. Air conditioning worked nicely which was a relief from the heat. Rooms were clean and efficient for our needs. Great to have coffee in the room.

Unfortunately you had to pay for Wifi in the room.

I liked the location of the hotel as it was just 10 mins from the seafront and the centre of the town. The hotel had a lovely calm atmosphere and was tastefully decorated - it had a courtyard which was nice to relax in and had a real mediterranean feel. Happy Hour from 6-8 provided good value drinks, particularly cocktails. The hotel was off one of the main streets and therefore was a bit quieter which was good. Staff were generally very pleasant and made our three year old son feel very welcome. Our son was able to run about the hotel without us feeling uncomfortable. Room was cleaned every day.

Slightly expensive, especially as breakfast wasn't included. Would have benefitted from breakfast as it 'sets you up' for the day and it was too expensive to pay for as extra (17 euros each). Room was small even though it was an executive room - we were upgraded on arrival without asking. Would defnitely reccommend the hotel however as, for me, ambiance and atmosphere are very important. Cleanliness is also very important and this hotel was very clean.

Liked the decor and jazz reference (black and white photos of ''the Greats''. Good breakfast, but pricey!

Very friendly staff and a pleasant large room with a nice Bathroom. The concierge was very helpful in booking Two tours, answering our questions and ordering taxis. Very nice location. We had a great time!

Hotellet ligger bra til enten en vill til gamlebyen eller andre steder I Nice.Det har en fin liten bar hvor det er hyggelig å sitte om kvelden.Frokosten er bra.

Ingen ting å utsette direkte,men jeg savner at det er to lenestoler på rommet.

Hotel très bien situé, un personnel adorable et disponible. Petit déjeuner très bien : choix et qualité. Décoration bien.
