View in the cemetary Noisy during 24h (above a highway) Shower provided warm water only for 2min (not fixed even after notification) Very poor breakfast
Next to the metro line, several nice bars and restaurants closeby, very helpful receptionists, excellent sound isolation from the nearby highway! From our room we could even see the illuminated Eiffel tower in the evenings
view to the cemetery nearby shower lacked the curtain
Location, friendliness of the staff
In spite of me booking the hotel well in advance (1.5 months before) for two nights for a conference I was attending in Espace Charenton I was denied first night stay (alternative provided and also was the winner of a lucky dip ;)) in this hotel. So if you are ok to put up with the hassel go with it. Its a shame for the hotel and Booking.com!
Close to metro and parking garage
breakfast is to simple
No Wi-Fi in the room, just in the lobby and very weak. They put wrong pictures for double studio room and wrong size of the room. Actually the size of the room is 10SqM and those pictures is for one bedroom apartment, not for double studio. There is no room for putting your luggage, you can put on the table or in corridor. No sofa in the room. Mini kitchen is not in the room, its in the tiny corridor.
It has free wi-fi and the staff are very friendly. The room side is big as well :)
The location is a bit far from city centre but it's ok with such price. But one thing not so good is no hair dryer.
Nothing in particular... Except friendly staff
Very bad experience! The room was not like I asked an apartment with 2 single beds and a sofa bed but, instead, they gave us one with a double bed. The sofa bed was small and uncomfortable. On the 1st day, when we arrived, the room was clean. On the 2nd, the room was cleaned, but no toilet paper was added (no new towels also, but because we hanged it. It wasn't necessary to change them...) On the third day, the room wasn't cleaned at all!... The bedroom floor wasn't vacuumed, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, and no new bath towels... And zero toilet paper!! According to the staff, they forgot to clean the apartment... It's unbelievable!! I chose an accord group hotel because I already knew the professionalism. For less money, I could have rented another apartment in the city center, but I didn't want to take any risks... Unfortunately, I was wrong!...
Location is perfect (in between 2 metro stations and 1 tram station) .. Staff were really friendly and helpful .. Room was very clean
WiFi is only available in the reception area, while in the rooms only LAN cables are available .. No laundry
The hotel is less than 5 minutes from two metro stations and one tram station. If you are coming from CDG airport, it will be easy to reach with public transportation. Staff was friendly and helpful, the checking in & out process took less than few minutes. I am obsessive about cleanliness and I can assure that the whole room was completely clean and neat, period. Kitchen basic set is complete and very useful if you are planning to cook during your stay. The bed was wide and quite comfortable. There was a small desk that is useful for reading or laptop stuff, and another small table for having lunch. The hotel has a room for leaving luggage, and in the day I checked out I was offered to leave my luggage in the locked room the whole day as my train was at a late hour.
The internet service was completely interrupted the day I checked out. Although the staff was really helpful and true in trying to solve the problem, it wasn't solved. If you close the windows, you won't hear any noise from the ring road, however, if you are very sensitive to noise and likes to open the window a lot, you may need to ask for a room in a higher level.
- Close to metro station Porte de Charenton [M8] or Liberte . Aprox. 5 min walk. ( and bus/tram station ) - Easy to find , right near Boulevard Peripherique. - Supermarket Simply , near station Liberte. Carrefour is close too. - I stayed in a studio for 2 pers , 7 nights. Very clean and comfortable. - In the room you have cable for internet so you can use your laptop [I didn`t have my laptop so I don`t know if it was working] , but at reception you have free wifi. - Like I said ...very close to metro station so you can get to Paris centre easily [about 30 min from Notre-Dame or Tour Eiffel ] - I stayed on the 7th floor , with a wonderful view of Tour Eiffel [the cemetery situated behind bulevard doesn`t bother me at all.] - Nice staff
Nothing to say . I was very afraid of what I'll find when I get there but ...nice. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to see Paris and also have their own place to stay not far from the centre.
the location and the price
Good location, great deal on price, most of the staff were very helpful.
No wifi. When asked, the date of supposedly completion of repair was always pushed back. No compensation.
Very bad expirience in every possible way starting from booking untill check out. Had a problem with booking which they said it was for "free", they reserved money from the card( never before booking.com did it). Then we paid the whole amount for stay by bank transfer a month before we came to hotel, when we arrived they said that nothing was paid and they wanted money for 2 nights for every room untill they check with manager since we arrived on Saturday, after we refused to pay and said that we were going to contact booking.com they let us in the hotel by they took the money from my credit card without informing me. We paid for quiet rooms with air conditioning but they gave us very noisy rooms with AC that didn't work at all, a nightmare. On monday we asked again to check the bank transfer that we made and demanded to speek with manager to solve the situation but he didn't want to speak with us and the receptionist couldn't access the hotels account to check our bank transfer, after we said that we will contact booking.com, tourist police and our embassy, receptionist suddenly contact the manager and said that our bank transfer was ok since everything was paid a month before we came to Paris and they said that they will refund the money they took from my credit card. Me and my friends travelled a lot using booking.com and never had similar expirience. We are a group of surgeons who came to medical congress, not a bunch of backpackers and they treated us in this way, and even if we were, everyone deserve to have an appropriate service when one pay for it.
Leaving the hotel
1) Strong smel of mold. 2) Room right next to 8 Lane highway. 3) Ignorent and arogant staff - forget you as soon as the French-speaking guests come to desk. 4) Ask of full payment apon arriver 5) Sub charge for cleanning and breakfast would make the hotel much more expensive (31 euro a day) 6) Far away from anything. 7) 1-2 Star hotel 8) Very poor bathroom 9) No sprong madres - poor quality. 10) Ongoing painting - therefore bad smel in the high sesson
- The room doesn't have a water boiler and when I asked the stuff working they said we don't have. - My rrom view was looking at the Tomb and I asked to change it but they weren't flexible to offer other rooms. - No tea , sugar ... which is min needs at least few amount for arrivals at first night. - The wireless interenet is only at the reception which is inconvienent cause the lobby is always crowded due to its small place and peoople should be there to have free wifi.
No wifi in the rooms
No wifi in room, kitchen not upto the mark. Reception desk not very friendly.
The location is very near to 2 metro stations that make it easier to fo around fhe city by Underground Metro
The service is very bad They don't clean the room. It is charged !!!! Breakfast is poor and not worth the money paid.
The hotel is very close to a metro station, thus even if is not in the city center is very easy to go there. Is very handy to have a kitchen in the studio - and Carrefour supermarket is like 15 min walk from the hotel.
Overall the price and the fact that u can leave the car in the basement parking with a small charge of ten euros pro day. The hotel is not near the city center but there is a metro station nearby. For a group of young friends its a perfect choice when u do not want to spend a fortune for a hotel room. And it was pretty clean and tidy. Plus the kitchen offers you the choice of cooking and is fully equiped. The parking is awesome.
Too noisy if the windows are open. Far away from the center.
The only positive was that we could see the eiffel tower in the distance from our room. But I think we were just lucky as not all rooms face that direction.
The staff were unhelpful and spoke little English despite websites assurances. They denied there was a laundry service even though it was on their website. There was next to no hot water - only one person could shower at night time and even then it would start to go cold. The stove top did not work on the first night because they hadnt connected it, which the staff discovered only after telling us that we just didn't know how to use it. And although we were told there was wifi, it was only available in lobby and so guests congregated in the lobby where there were limited seats. Also no cleaning service is offered if you stay over a week so no clean towels!!
1. Electric stove was not working. When we say them, they are not ready to arrange immediately. 2. Price is too costlier 3. Staff at reception should improver lot in terms of checking the documents. Ex: When we entered and checked-in, they told that i have not paid via online. I was shocked. But I had paid full amount via a credit card.
Good location near to metro and shops in a pleasant area. Secure car-park at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and well equipped. If you have a room on the upper floors and on the right side of the hotel you have a nice view over the city including the Eiffel Tower.
Although the rooms are clean the decor is somewhat dated and could do with renovation. The beds are rather small and hard.
