Nice staff, especially the Canadian guy
Tiny kitchen. A bit shabby.
Close to metro, good value for Paris, good kitchen facilities, quiet at weekend.
Room small, but what you would expect for Paris!
Location (5 min walk to Bastille) Friendly staff (very late check-out with no problems) Nice view on "promenade plantée" (ask for it)
Room decoration pretty poor No hair-drier Small bed
Location. Price. Staff. Workable fridge/stove/microwave.
Furniture. Lack of cleanliness and zero maid service... even new towels would have been extra, and I stayed a week. Ambience a bit grim.
The location, the staff, stores ,restaurant and buses close of Adagio
Having the same linens and towels for 9 days. What I did was to buy my own stuff then it was OK
Convenient location. Close to gare de Lyon and Place de la Bastille. Quite reasonable price/quality ratio given the location close to (or in) the centre of Paris, but do not expect anything special.
Choice for breakfast rather limited.
Good location, nice and clean hotel.
The elevator was broken. There were no efforts whatsoever to have it fixed during my stay. I asked for help (several days in advance) to have my luggage carried to the 6th floor, didn't get help. The receptionist lady was very unpleasant and impolite.
Location very good close to Gare de Lyon . Plenty of restaurants in the area.
Rooms are a bit small but thats Europe.
Clean room, very nice staff, good location: three different metro stations nearby, lots of cafes and restaurants, two or three small supermarkets, a few very good pastry shops—you get the point. Our room was very quiet at night. I live in a city much smaller than Paris and hear a lot more noise from my own room!
The mattress is too thin. By the way, I see this is by far the most common complaint from people who liked the hotel. I slept well enough—we both did—but my wife was 7 months pregnant and could have used some extra cushion underneath.
The location was great, only 5 minutes walk from the Bastille metro station, the apartment was really big, keeping in mind how small paris hotel rooms usually are. The kitchen was fully equipped, the apartment heating was at a perfect temperature.Wi-fi worked properly. The apartment had a nice road view but leaving outside the noise. Overall a very nice experience, definitely would go back again.
We faced a slight problem with the bath tub. The water was overflowing, of course reception encouraged us to move to another apartment, but we chose to stay.
Near by the Gare de Lyon, studio with enough space (that is a problem with a large number of Parisian hôtels), very calm. Friendly receptionist.
Breakfast a little bit basic....
It would be wise to provide a vacuum machine, since there is no cleaning service is included in the price.
The kitchen area is very well equipped and exceeded my expectations, providing us with more than enough cutleries and other utensils we need. The room was kept neat and clean
The carpeted floor is stained and dirty, and caused an unpleasant odour to the room. The bed sheets were uncomfortable and rough, which may not so suitable for sensitive skin. Service is slow and it'd be better if hairdryers are provided in rooms as they are usually out of stock during the 2 nights we requested for it.
The size and comodity of the bathroom, once looked over, the cleaness of the studio and the price
The size of the room, the unconfort of the matress, the linens, no hair dryer, the unclean look of the dark rug, the cheap look of it all! Felt like an old parisian two stars!
