Room is a bit small No cleaning services fro more than 3 nights. No towels were given
Handy to walk to most of the sights the port, shops.
No toaster !
Location is good, close enough to walk to the port but in a quiet street. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
The hotel is extremely hot (even in November) and the air conditioning is not very effective. We could only sleep with the window open and as a result got lots of mossie bites.
No point having a coffee machine if one filter (minimum) isn't supplied. The fold out bed was awful.
When somebody starts cooking the smell spreads out all over the place
safe, secure, cool rooms, efficient, helpful staff albeit not overly effusive, breakfast ample, no parking avail for free. Internet worked well for me but was slow on third floor
shower door makes access to the spout difficult in the tub. I could not get the stopper to work second bath, so could not do a soak, I also did not like paying total with no ability to change after booking. Booked my friends in at the front desk for one night and got charged a huge amount more. should have used your site prob.
Location was great. Staff were very helpful. Apartment was spacious and well equipped.
No parking directly attached to the complex although there was car parking nearby.
Comfortable, professional accomodation
Location OK, but not obvious. No light (broken) outside my room door.
Location and excellent facilities. Full kitchenettes and modern facilities. What's also good was that the secured parking is really close to the hotel. Glad I made the right decision to stay in this apartment. Highly recommended!
The twin bed was a bit small but we managed to combined it so that's fine.
- location is perfect for walking around in the city: it is easy to reach all the nice spots; - location is calm so sleeping comfort was good; - the interior was new and the rooms and corridors are clean.
- you have to know that the room service is tiding the room only once a week; - the interior was new but the quality was not that good, e.g. the water pressure was very low, so flushing the WC and using the shower the same time was no good idea.
Spacious room, clean, comfortable , new and modern facilities . Good location, near to the essential.
The staff is apathetic, indifferent to guests. The exception is a young man who works at the front desk in the morning. October 6 i crossed 5 times the woman in front desk ( afternoon / evening) and even once she gave me a look (imagine "bonjour"!) Plus, the night I arrived was caused by an unstable woman that was in reception, I felt threatened . I would'n return.
I like my room with patio or terrace.
The kitchen exhaust fan is noisy. Complained about it but no action.
location, spa, staff, ..
Adagio Marseilles is close to the station and to the old port which is a nice area. The apartment is a good idea as you can cook your own meals and self cater. The apartment was quite spacious and with a separate ensuite.
The sofa bed - I would have preferred a normal hotel bed. No toaster and the microwave/grill didn't work well as a grill. The table was fixed and set dacing a wall which wasn't particularly nice. A DVD player would have been useful as all the TV stations apart from BBC news were in French. The apartment wasn't serviced and you had to pay a fee if you wanted it cleaned. The towels were very thin and had to last us the 5 days we were there.
This is not really a hotel, just basic apartments, but the location to the old port in Marseilles is very good. Breakfast was a surprise - it was actually excellent
I picked this hotel because of its location and the fact that the blurb said parking was available. Yes, on the street just like every other hotel in Marseilles!
Well organised room with kitchenette
Too little kitchen utensils
Location. Cleanliness Quietness It's new. Good front desk welcome.
The bed is a sofa bed. Inexplicable. It has a 5 inch mattress and on squeaky springs. If you are the lighter partner you sleep like it's a trampoline and it squeaks every time you turn. They should have spent the money on a bed instead. Whoever made the decision should have to spend a night on it. This is fine if you can sleep like a log as soon as your head hits the pillow.
The quiet room
Room was a bit dark
Very nicely decorated rooms. Wifi available even though stated differently :-). Good selection at breakfast. Walking distance to the Vieux Port.
The surroundings are just ok, on the border to a neighborhood that you should avoid in the night.
the reception service and the location were very good Bathroom was clean and modern. Excellent house keeping service.
we were expecting a small terrace as per advert in booking site but we did not have it on the 6th floor The blinds of the windows were inadequate to keep the strong sun rays at times.
Easy to access and a perfect place to use as a base. Everything was there.
Room was a bit small with the bed out; I had not realised that the studio had a sofa bed rather that a proper bed. It was perfectly comfortable but took up space!
We just liked everything about our suite, it was very comfortabel. We would return anytime.
The location is very good as the Old Port is 15 minutes walk. The supermarket is very close as well. The quality of the room was very good, and the wifi was working well.
In the courtyard area some people is noisy in the evening, but after 24:00 is very silent. There are mosquitoes, so prepare yourself.
Clean and comfort with great facilities for little money
may be location but its not a big problem though
Really good location, not exactly on the vieux port but a 5 minute walk away, easy access, literally across the street from Le Panier neighbourhood and metro and tram stops as well as a supermarket are within a few minutes walk.
fold out sofa bed was a disaster!!!! ended up taking the mattress off the bed/sofa and putting it on the floor 'futon style'
