This hotel is very European. Very local. Not a big American hotel that look the same. I loved the hotel and would love to stay there again. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Stairs to the first for my 70 year old mother a bit of a struggle. |

I liked the uncomplicated service and the friendlyness of the hotel staff. The room was very clean. The room was very quiet. You didn't hear anything from the crowded streets! The bathroom had a displeasing smell. The bed was a bit short (I am a person of 1.82 meters). |

The room/hotel was adorable. A lot of sites were nearby, but . . . It is a sketchy neighborhood. The woman yelled at my friend, told her to stop calling my room, and said that I wasn't even there. So she lied, and didn't understand how to transfer a call to a room. |

The room is clean and some main attractions such as the louvre, pompidou and notre dame are a few minutes by from the hotel. The street in front of the hotel is very noisy and makes it difficult to sleep with open windows, there's no air conditioning in the room so you have to keep the windows open during the night |

Fantastic position - location in a pedestrianised street close to Les Halles, the Metro and good shopping/dining. Most of the great spots in Paris are an easy walk - we covered a huge cross-section of Paris in 5 days. The staff were invaiably helpful and friendly. The most challenging factor was the climb up a spiral stairway to the hotel lobby. Difficult after a tiring flight! Small lift may also be a problem for geting baggage to the room (1 person + 1 case max) required a few trips. We should have specified a double bed as we had 2 singles - not very romantic - this is Paris after all. |

Location was excellent, within walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral and shopping & restaurants all around. Rooms were comfortable and decorated in antique french floral designs. It may look slightly dingy to people who don't like this type of decor but I appreciated it. Good value for money in Paris! Staff were not always friendly or helpful. There are security issues with the easy accessibility to the hotel's front entrance from the pedestrian street. |

Location was brilliant Shower room was just too small!! We are both quite slim - so do not know how larger people would cope. However, water was hot and everything worked very well. Very clean. |

close to river and metro very close, staff great and helpful. The internet did not work at all trliably, and sort of worked, slowly, when I went and sat by front desk...not from room, which was a pain, as it was important to me. Also, the shower was the smallest I have ever been in....but that could just be my travel inexperience...but I could not turn around without hitting the water control lever...with interesting surprises. |

It was in the location where I wanted to be. Pleasant ambience. Not like a small, impersonal city centre hotel. One of the reasons I decided on this hotel was free internet access but it only worked in the reception/dining room which was inconvenient to my needs. And a very small shower which there is nothing can be done about other than lose a few pounds! |
