Location, location, location.
Noise, very small rooms, showers tiny (definitely a problem for large people).
Well situated. Close to the metro and within easy walking distance to most sights. Lovely room and classic furniture. Friendly staff. I would definitely go back as its a good example of Paris architecture and manners.
Wifi did not seem to work as directed.
Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was clean. Location perfect.
Wi-fi was sketchy at best. Night life outside a bit loud but adapted to it.
Location, just in front of Les Halles.
Reception guy was very unfriendly Small room and old beds. Poor wifi and very poor breakfast.
Great location, cozy room. Loved the balcony! Friendly staff.
It was a little noisy at night, but we were in the heart of Paris, so that was to be expected!
The environment and the first impression I got of the staff. The room not up to standard very archaic n worn out. The elevator too small while the staircase was to close to the room doors. Not safe for children.
The stair before reaching the lobby is killing
The room was very clean and comfortable for one night.Good area to explore with lots of restaurants and small stores giving an interesting Parisian perspective.
Tiny elevator only went up from first floor.Receptionist would have helped with bags but we did not know this and climbed steep flight of stairs with them. There was a lot of street noise (Saturday) - voices not traffic. We picked the hotel because of its proximity to the RER but on exploring found that there were too many stairs and non - functioning escalators in the station and so ended up taking a taxi to CDG.This is of course not the fault of the hotel but is worth knowing for anyone older and with more than a backpack.
Position of the hotel, very close to public transport
Very small room, grumpy staff, water licking in my room during rain
Manner of staff, lack of amenities, general hotel look and size
The location, cleanliness plus it was quaint and querky. We loved it.
Carrying our suitcases up to the reception on the 1st floor. Bath was small but it didn't matter to us also, it was a bit cramped for 3 of us.
Location Price Staff
Bathroom was ok but not great
Location was excellent staff were lovely
Not much space in the room and bed not that comfortable
Noisy at night
The hotel was clean and conveniently located close to the Chatelet/les Halles Metro station.
Some of the rooms and facilities are really small.
Good rate and proximity to metro
Rooms too small
Nothing at all... Worst experience ever...!!! If we hadn't have better experiences with the other hotels that we booked through booking.com we would never use booking.com for our upcoming booking for Duabi... You should not have hotel agora on your website...
Despite of our only request to have a quiet room, it was extremely noisy even till 4am. It is located in an area where there are sex shops and rowdy crowd. We were charged €3.50 twice for just two tea bags and hot water. The reception staff was extremely rude and unhelpful... The reception staff was really ignorant about the nearby places. Two of the reception staff suggested to walk for 200 meters to buy milk, whereas the same shop (Monopris) was located on the same street hardly 50 meters away. We had very good hotel experiences in the hotels booked through booking.com in Rome, Florence, Venice and Geneva but our last stay at hotel agora left a very bad taste...!!!
The room was very spacious and the reception was 24 hours making someone available to answer our questions at any time.
No fan or aircon in the room, and the noise from the street is so loud at night as it travels easily into the room. Not a hotel for an early sleeper. It was quite frustrating.
My second time in here, good location, value for money.
Location suited me.
Very loud..but it was a World Cup match evening
Excellent location: an easy walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and many other sights. Fun pedestrian zone. We enjoyed breakfast at the friendly Cafe Nylsa, steps away. One staff member was superlative, helping my husband find alternative transportation during the train strike.
Tiny spiral staircase (with the railing on the narrow side of the steps)up one flight to reception. Triple room had barely enough floor space for its furniture. WiFi didn't work in the room, only at reception, and this was crucial during the train strike to figure out transportation. We still liked this hotel!
The location is great. The hotel is very clean. Staff is friendly
Great location for getting around the city. Right next to the RER and metro, 5 minute walk to the river and just 10 minutes from the Louvre and Notre Dame. Room was quite small but very comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage on our final day.
Good central area to most attractions. Could walk to many areas or tube/train was nearby.
Room was ok Bathroom poor No tea/coffee facility in room Man at check in was arrogant & unhelpful
