Breakfast on the Sunday was very good, varied choice & plenty of produce, however the Monday morning breakfast was extemely poor, very limited choice almost nothing left at 9.00am. Direction to the hotel were very poor, even with SAT nav it took quite a while to negotiate to the front door of the hotel, more information re the access & parking would have been very helpfull |

The location was near the castle at Fontainbleu, but at a place near the town center, shops, cafes, etc....very nice spot.The hotel building dates from the 1500's and was great. Bringing lugage to the front door of the hotel by car is not easy, since the only access is accross several meters of sidewalk. This required backing the car along the sidewalk to the entrance. For someone not used to this method, it may be a problem. |

Friendly staff, romantic decorated room, parking garage in front of hotel(special rate for hotel guests 10 euro/24h), fantastic breakfast buffet, free wifi, separate toilet, coffee/tea facilities and even some complimentary softdrinks in minibar, flatscreen tv with dvd player, dvd's available at reception (several languages), close to chateau Fontainebleau. hair dryer was broken, shower curtain not clean, showertap was old and hard to operate, some items in room (like curtains) and corridors need maintenance.. |

excellent location. The building had character Hotel offered free internet but I was not able to get a connection in my room. They contacted tech support who worked with me 1/2 hour with no result. |

Lovely rooms - nicely done in Empire Style creating a very cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Great Location within a few metres of the Chateau. Professional and helpful staff. |

The tv in the mirror is an inspiring idea. The service is awesome, and the shower is the best we've ever seen in hotels. The staff is well- trained and extremely professionnal. Our honeymoon request was perfectly satisfied and the hotel even went a mile further. The terrasse should be accessible for guests instead of being wasted. |

Front desk staff was very courteous and pleasant. The room/suite in general was clean and nice, the Breakfast was good, and the hotel was quiet. The historic nature of the hotel was also very interesting. |

Front desk staff were very courteous. Alos, the shower was clean and new, the Breakfast was really good, and the hotel was quiet. The historic nature of the hotel was also very appealing. The baby bed mattress wasn't the best. |

The Staff were very helpfull. particulary the lady in the breakfast room. Major road works were being conducted we were not able to drive up to the hotel without difficulty. I would have expected that more details would have been availabel on the website, regarding arriving by car. We had a lot of luggage so were not able to walk from the street. |

Very pleasant staff who went out of their way to help us. The hotel itself is a very beautiful old mansion and has a lot of personality/charm. Excellent location if you want to Fontainebleau to visit the Château, as this hotel is litterally accross the street from the "Jardin de Diane" (the park adjacent to the Castle). Access to the hotel entrance (to unload the suitcases) from the car was a bit difficul (very narrow - one way - street more like a pedestrian passage, not really made for cars...) But public underground parking is basically underneath the hotel so that solves the problem. The front doors and the lobby of the hotel should be repainted/renovated because they have seen better days... |

It is a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated in Fontainebleau. The staff, my room, the breakfast etc. was exactly as I had hoped. It was a very pleasant stay. |

Location, just in front of the palace. very big and clean rooms. very helpful staff. Overall very good value for money. Using booking.com we've paid 100 euro / night in double room while official price in hotel itself was 180. good deal. Breakfast costed 17 euro. |

The beautiful French furniture in our room and the generous size of the room were pleasing features. The guest lounge room was great as we could meet our friend and have a quite chat. The breakfast room was very pleasant with a garden full of flowers. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the Chateau. Clearer directions about where to park to off load our bags would have been handy as there was no obvious set down. |
