Not a complaint - just a warning: it's a bit tricky getting to the front door with your car. The hotel has several restaurants on either side that block access. If you can manage to get the inevitable delivery van to clear the path for you on the west side, more power to you. It's easiest to park underground at the public lot, get a cart for luggage from the hotel, and then retrieve from your car. There is an elevator up from the parking to the street right next to the hotel entrance. Sounds complicated, but actually very easy. Managed all this with my 80-year-old auntie in tow
Excellent location across from the entrance to the chateau. Modern public underground parking is barely 100 meters from the hotel entrance. Very elegant and well-appointed rooms. Large bathrooms with plenty of "stuff". Although no restaurant on the premises, many nearby and great recommendations by front-desk staff. Buffet breakfast was varied and always kept refreshed by attentive staff. Staff at front desk were extremely helpful, despite my halting French. All round, an excellent choice if you come to this city.
