Great location, near the Convention metro station and easy to get to around Paris. Great value for money, would have paid as much or more for a bed in a hostel. The street market outside was great! As mentioned by others, Rue de la Convention is a pretty busy street, even at night. Keep this in mind if you stay in the summer (no air con so may need to keep your window open) and you're a light sleeper. I had no problems sleeping with the noise from the street and we kept the windows open the whole time we stayed there.

Staying at the hotel second time. Spacious and clean room and bathroom - which is rare in hotels in this price range. Nice and helpful staff. Good location if you are visiting Porte de Versille Expo Center - 1 stop with metro or just 10 minutes by walk. The girl on the reception also offering us a free breakfast on check out :)

The personal was friendly - they also arranged for us a very early breakfast before departure. Rather comfortable rooms, simply - but clean. The position of the hotel is strategic - near to the exhibition area ( 15 minutes by foot), near the metro station, surrounded by restaurants, shops etc. For who goes to exhibitions on Porte de Verasais - it's an excellent solution, also for the price

The location was great. A 10 minute walk from the Convention Metro stop with access to the entire city. A 24-hour front desk that allowed us a very early check (room access) in when we arrived several hours prior to the listed check in time. The street which the hotel is on is energetic with a market (at least on the weekends) and many shops and cafes. This was one of the more expensive hotels on my trip (90 euro/night, but very inexpensive compared to the other options in Paris over the Christmas holiday. It was a great value though. Recommended.

Thank you so much, hotel Ajiel! I booked the hotel as it was on the location I urgently needed and the price was very good. I was a little bit scared what to expect for that price. I was so much surprised that rooms were larger and with more sun light than in other Paris hotels I have experienced till now. The stuff was so friendly and we knew that whatever problem we have they'll try to find a solution. The room was perfectly cleaned every day with new sheets and new towels. This time in Paris we had a lot of small troubles during our stay and the kind guys fro Ajiel Hotel helped us with everything, just like friends.

The hotel is a quiet, safe neighborhood about 5 minutes walk from Convention metro station (line 12) so it's within reach of all of Paris. It's not "central" in that it's not in the tourist belt. But what I love about it is that t here's a Carrefour supermarket just opposite and lots of little patisseries, cafes and shops along the street, even a morning market just outside on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends. If you don't relish the thought of living in the heart of crowded touristy Paris, this little hotel is perfect to come home too at the end of the day. It's clean, with lovely red/orange warm colours for window curtains and bedspreads and generally pleasant. I enjoyed my stay there, and I'd be back to stay there if I'm back in Paris, and I will. :) For the amount you pay, you can't complain. But I did think the lobby was a little old and uninviting-looking when I first stepped in. The lift is old too and the corridors are too dim. I wish there was better lighting throughout the hotel. But the rooms warm my heart -- they are in warm colours and the toilets are modern and clean. So your little room will be your haven!

Its located on a great street with bakeries, fruit shops and butchers. Near to Montparnasse Station which was useful for us as we were getting the train to Northern Spain the next day. If you want to be right next to the main touristy places however it would be a good half hour journey on tube. Price good for Paris though and if you dont want to keep going back and forth to the hotel, the location is no problem. Small room but absolutely usual for Paris so not really a complaint.

Really nice hotel to stay in, with my husband we spent there one week and in future if there is a choise where to stay we will chose that place. Main advantages are price and location. Right near the hotel there is a bus stop, on the opposite side of the street several coffees where you can eat an amazingly tasty sreaks and vine. Supermarket is also very close to the hotel. The room (and bathroom) was quite wide what is not common for tha most Paris hotels. Wi-fi signal was ok on the 6 floor. Area around the hotel is quite quite and we were not afraid of walking even at the 23-24.00. We didn't order breakfasts, because we ordered breakfasts in the above mentioned caffees. As disadvantage I can mention only the fact, that you can really sometimes har people talking in the other room...but really that is not a very big problem.

The hotel is located in a peaceful place surrounded by a lot of restaurants. Carrefour supermarket is also within walking distance. The room is small but tidy. A small lift is avaialbe which helps a lot for big lugguage. Our room is at the side of the street so that it is too noisy outside for us to open the window. Only one wall-socket is available in the room which is for the television. None is in the toilette.

Second time staying at Ajiel. It is good value in a lovely neighbourhood area. There is a local market out front on Sundays and a great range of restaurants, cafes, etc in the area. Flipside is it can get a little noisy, but happy staying there and would stay again. Can be a bit noisy

It was conveniently placed for my purposes; an exhibition at the Porte de Versailles. I actually had two bedrooms, able to sleep 4! So, very reasonably placed for that, the fact that I was on my own made it a bit more expensive, but I was looking for a room close to the exhibition ground at short notice Some of the paintwork in my room had sufferred and was chipped. I was right up in the roof, so I had a lot of wind noise that night

Was not expecting such a huge room. Very unusual and pleasant surprise for a Paris hotel! Location also agreeable Equipment (E.G. shower) a little rundown. Breakfast somewhat disappointing (but I overslept so my fault!)

+ The staff was very nice and helpful + Room was cleaned every day + There are plenty of bakeries just in a walking distance from the hotel, a grocery store nearby, and good cafeterias etc. so getting breakfast/evening snack is very easy + 4 minute walk to the metro station + Price was very reasonable + The hotel staff spoke English - only minus are the water pipes that are old and noisy, if someone flushes a toilet in the hotel, you'll hear it loudly. You get used to it though and it didn't bother after two nights of staying.

I loved the location! The metro was close by, providing easy access to tourist hotspots. The markets right outside the door 3 times a week have a real buzz and everything you need shop wise is close by - a selection of patisseries, supermarkets, cafes and general shopping. I always felt safe in this area. The hotel itself is not unremarkable but it was clean and my room had a large window which opened up onto the street. I also loved the large bathroom with a bath and plenty of hot water! The staff were friendly and someone was sitting at the front desk at all times - 24 hour service. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Clean comfortable and good location for the shops and metro I made a complaint while there to reception.when I made my on line booking the price clearly mentioned that it included continental breakfast. I was told that this could not be. I have returned home and retrieved my on line booking and it clearly states that it included continental breakfast. On leaving I paid the bill including 9.5 euos each for the 3 of us for 5 days making a total for the breakfast of 142 euros. I would be grateful if you reimbursed me for this amount. Thank you W.W.parker

All we liked was the location, the staff were very helpfull and very nice. The room was clean, and was cleaned on a daily basis. The room was too small and cramped. The bathroom, shower was not attached to the wall. There was absolutely no room to move in the room for two people. There was nothing in the room except a tv Bed and wardrobe. I have stayed in other hotels in Paris in the last two years and this was by far the worst hotel.

It was near the center (4 km from Eiffel Tower) and a lot of bike parkings near so we usually took the bicycles to go around the center of the city. Metro station also very close. Clean and spacious room. Every day new towels and clean up of the room. Very good value-for-money ...I would go again.. No air condition but did not need it in October. No very good internet facilties.

If you are looking for a hotel just to crush on after a hectic day out in Paris, look no further, don't waste your time looking at pictures, comparing prices, etc...i spent 2 weeks doing so, just a wast of time, go to this hotel, forget the rest...guys it is just to rest, you do not spend time in hotels, your aim is to visit Paris! And it is just 5 min. From station, lots of coffee shops, bakery, just off the street! And the rooms a daily cleanned! Was charged for 120 Euros, for double and real price is 93 Euros, but receptionist arranged to have the difference returned to my credit card! Thank Max, you are the best!
