Pleasant & helpfull staff. Room very clean and spacious. This was only a brief stop overnight waiting for Car Ferry in the morning. However we did enjoy our brief stay and may return to St. Malo for short break. I would return to this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel in October 2011. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is situated within the Intramuros which is central to the shopping area and an adundance of restaurants and creperies. The bedrooms were nicely decorated, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The en-suite seemed to have been recently refurbished and was very modern, unlike many other French hotels I've stayed in previously. We had booked a garage in advance which proved to be a good move, as parking inside the walls is at a premium. The Garage was at a cost of 10euros a night, but well worthwhile, because the car was safe and off the road. This price was also very competitive, because parking outside the walls was being charged at 1.10 euros an hour. Continental breakfast was charged at 11 euros, but there was plenty of choice and good quality, which set us up for the day. All in all, this hotel was a good choice and would choose it again, if we return to St. Malo.

The family was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great position and it was well priced. We liked it so much we stayed another two nights.

The only thing I think you could improve is mayb have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It is something we have come to expect in Australia.

Very nice stay just past the end of the season for the area. Although we were virtually the only guests, we were treated very well. Nice room, good bathroom, view of bay, wonderful sound of the surf at night. Good breakfast. Courteous, extrememly helpful staff. Easy to find, free parking, great price.

The staff and owners were very personable and helpful, especially as we were trying to make connections with our friends. A lovely stay.

Get a good map to find this hotel, but you'll be pleased you did. It has a lovely reception area and breakfast room. Our room was larger than expected; comfortable bed and a good view. A less expensive breakfast can be found in nearby cafes, but the hotel's was elegant and convenient. We reserved a parking space which was in a nearby private garage and worth the 10 euro; not sure what other options are available. The location inside the old city is perfect; wish we could have stayed more than 1 night.

The door lock system was a problem for us; had to ask for help. But seemed we were the only guests having difficulty.
