No elevator ( altought not really needed, should have to help in luggage and also in case of low mobility guests or elders ) - Problem common in many hotels in France

Close proximity to Parc Asterix and Paris. Safe and secure. Restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for family of four.

Our flight was delayed, and staff were helpful to check us in over the phone, and give us access details as we might have arrived after 830pm when reception closed. Close to transport links for getting into Paris (although check bus time table as only go once an hour, but do link with trains). Restaurants in the hotel area. Staff really helpful. Free wifi.

Price was OK

Too far from airport...$40 cab fare(!)...late arrival procedure was not well-explained and created significant stress when we were dropped off at midnight and couldn't gain entry easily.

Location was perfect for a night's sleepover and friendliness of reception staff was very good. Excellent proximity to McDonalds restaurant.Quiet and serene environment. Good buffet breakfast.

We were there for a sleepover before catching another flight out of Paris the very next day. We had a couple of boxes and hoped there would be luggage lock away at the ground floor, so we would not need to carry our boxes to our room at the second floor,but there was none. And no elevator either. The air conditioner in the room was not functioning, though I didn't care to ask hotel staff about that.

Although non-smoking rooms both had recently had been smoked in. Beds are a mattress on a board - ok for kids but unforgiving for adults.

It was close to parc asterix and easy to get to. It had parking facilities, it was affordable and had proper beds.

Economical and relatively new hotel, close to motorway and several eating places, good train access to Paris from Survilliers Fosse station,about 3km away. Close to Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom of fair (but not large) size. Helpful staff, good fenced parking at no extra costcost. Air conditioning and double glazing. Good value for money.

Location was excellent for Parc Asterix and although basic, the cleanliness of the hotel, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were second to none.

The proprietor was very nice and accommodating, the included breakfast was excellent. The small and efficient hotel room was a lot more quiet than I expected given its busy street location. Overall, a pleasant stay. One note for future travelers, the staircase is rather small, so pack lightly and don't expect to take a large suitcase up the stairs. This is typical in Europe, though, so it was not a problem unique to this hotel. We would definitely stay there again. Jean

Good location and proximity to cdg airport. By car you can plan an easy route to Paris Charles de Gaulle t2 travelling via the village of le Mesnil-Amelot.

Akena City budget hotel...like many others, has a very poor wifi service. The problem is generally related to the internet service provider who for commercial spamming reasons I suspect, demands all your private information, and if you don't agree, you don't get access. Akena City uses a company called Spot Coffee for their internet serices, you say that they require all of your personal details because of the Jan.23rd,2006 Law?? There is a convenient MacDonalds just a few steps away from the hotel. They have a good, friendly WiFi service.

Very clean and comfortable room(quadruple),quiet area, 45min drive to central Paris(depending of traffic), friendly staff, reasonable price. I would recommend to everyone.

Location to Parc Asterix and Buffalo Grill. Friendly staff, did exactly what it said on the tin. Cheap and cheerful but clean too.

as reception was closed we did not find out how to use wi fi. there was no notice in the room. no hairdryer.

Location close to Asterix Park (10 km). Close to the highway. Large room.

No elevator. Few restaurants in the area. No receptionist during the night.

We stayed for 2 nights, it is just 7 min. to the Parc Asterix. Very basic hotel, the 3 - p. room was tiny though clean. The same for the bathroom. Buffalo grill and McDonalds are just across the road. RER (line D to reach Chatelet) station is 6 min.

Unpleasant smell both in the room and in the corridor. The size of the room.
