the proximity to the beach and old town the staff was the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered in a Hotel. Didn't give friendly greetings, wasn't helpful with directing us to good sight or beaches. |

Excellent postion for the old town, new shops, buses and tram, the Promanade des Anglais. excellent good value breakfast. As architecture an elegant hotel. hotel needs refurbishment with many minor repairs needed eg a painting frame held together in our bedroom with sellotape. The entrance was unattractive and had we not booked we would not have enquired further. |

The Hotel per se was dated however, the staff was very professional and helpful; they always seemed to have a smile on their face and willing to help. The roomwas also very clean and well maintained while there. The Hotel is excellently located near restaurants, parks, tram, beach, bus line, etc. we would recommend the hotel to anyone going to Nice. I would give it a ten. Everything was just fine. |

Located close to the charming old Nice district and Massena Square, as well as the beach promenade. Entire whole needs an update in decor. Old bulky furniture made moving around the room difficult. Some staff rude. Also stayed a few minutes away at the Hotel Harvey on the same trip, which was nicer in the lobby and rooms, staff was very helpful and the rooms cheaper. |

I like that this hotel was centrally located. Close to old town area, promanade and bus stop. Yes, I woke up the first night with bug bites on face, arms and back. The second night with twice as many bites. The hotel had an old muggy & moldy feeling to it. The lift was broken and had to carry my luggage down the stairs. |

Location is fantastic - 2 mins walk from beach/ Promenade des Anglais, 1 min walk from airport bus stop, 5 mins walk to Old Town, 10 mins walk to Bus Station, 7 mins walk to pedestianised shopping area. Plus, room had a bath (plus shower), which for my mother was a definite plus.Great view of public gardens and sea, from our room. The hotel decor is somewhat outdated and might be described as shabby; it ideally needs redecorating and updating. (However it is clean.) Sea/ garden view room is noisy, as traffic runs outside the hotel all night. Ok if you wear earplugs or don't mind noise. The breakfast price is not included in the room rate and is rather expensive, although many hotels are similar. |

value for money, location was excellent: walking distance to old town and new town and only 7km from airport. The domestics started hoovering the rooms very early in the morning and cobbled together adjoining rooms meant that even when neighbouring guests were just talking or watching TV, we could hear everything and were woken up very early each morning and throughout the nights as well. |
