Score from 594 reviews Very good
Set in a pedestrian street in the old town, this air-conditioned hotel is located in a 19th-century building, just 100 metres from the Promenade des Anglais. An LCD TV is provided in the guest rooms.
Score from 337 reviews Very good
Very friendly , courteous and helpful staff. Excellent position!
The cafè next door does create a lot of noise when opened.
The view from the room.
Drain was clogged. (bath) Room door was hard to shut. Bed was Broken. Reported problems right away and nothing was done.
Location style size of the room
entrance & elevator are very narrow and small
Room was so small you couldn't open your suite case. Shower was so smallish cut my head by moving it out of the water.
Close proximity to the beach
Staff could be a little friendlier with a couple of exceptions!
Room was a good size and very comfortable. Great location very near the beach.
Design flaw with the shower in that it soaked the floor every time you used it!
The hotel was in an ideal location next to the beach. We were impressed with the quality of the accommodation, which has been refurbished to a high standard. Triple glazing and air conditioning too
No tea and coffee facilities in the room or in the hotel
room was great view was good
Bed was making noise breakfast is for money and not many option thus opt out to have breakfast outside.
The room with a view
No reception area or lounge and a very crushed breakfast room!
Location was excellent and was able to do a very late check-in!
Staff - given wrong room as we walked into another couples room whilst they were having intercourse, embarrassing as you could imagine! Eventually given correct room but on the second day, the card stopped working. Was rectified. Staff could not provide much information about the location, e.g eating out late. Room - outdated sheets which were worn out. Toilet/Shower - floor always wet due to shower not having cover all the way along the floor. Not much of a pleasant stay.
Location was great. Lots of shopping near the hotel, room terrace was great! Perfect view
cheap hotel, one lift, very very very small reception.
Location Room Bathroom Wifi
"Room with sea or garden view" meant a room facing a street and a park.
We had a lovely room with a balcony over looking the sea. It was really fantastic.
Helpful, friendly staff Ready to answer any questions Prompt and cheerful Comfortable room in excellent condition
No coffee in the room
It is close to the beach, when I open the window, I can see the blue sea.
It is on the street. It is a little bit noise when I open the window.
It was close to the old city with all it's charms. Lovely staff who assisted us with securing a bigger bed for my tall husband
Breakfast was very very ordinary with no imagination or effort for high price.
Location and modern furnishings and excellent bathroom facilities.
the location was good and the room was great
the reception was calling the cleaning ladies 5 times every morning..and the phones were transferring themselves on 3 lines on every floor, "an uninvited wake up call every morning". next to this the cleaning lady was practically banging her vacuum against the door to wake you up (probably unintentionally ,but every morning, "come on!") also we were expecting a double bed and we got 2 singles , the answer " we are fully booked" .. try tomorrow. after unpacking i was not in th mood to repack next morning. i am on vacation not moving houses. not a single "bonjour" from the reception in the morning. i would say they acted like a factory, "the missing friendliness, the noise..and the service." for this price ?? i had no rest at all. wifi sucked big time ! for this price i would recommend you to look for other hotels. (the hotel i usually stay was fully booked..which is 20 meters a ways, called meridien) at my departure i told them in a friendly way.." i will never stay here again".
The location close to the beach and the old town. Clean room, and friendly staff.
No parking available, so you should use the private parking space, which is on walking distane from the hotel. Only one elevator available.
It is located right near the sea, the old town and near the pedestrian zones. The furniture and the bathroom is quite new. I really liked the quality/price ratio.
The location and the park opposite..very close to the beautiful old town and promenade..that is a huge bonus.
Hotel is dated and unfortunately even though I paid extra for a superior I had what I can only describe as a closet on the second floor (was told that's all they had) to loud blaring club music three nights out of six and a two day blaring concert in the park! We aren't very old so we understand people stay up late but this went on till after two...my bathroom was so small my six foot two husband had to keep the door open! Staff quite indifferent and a warm welcome would have been nice. Once I questioned the size of my so called superior room I was told on day four ..yes it is you should have told us to change it! Great to hear after another staff member said were fully booked! They have potential because of the location but low floors should be cheaper and be warned it's very loud...
The bathroom and bed
I booked a room with view to sea or garden I had music and traffic until to late after 02:00
