Best Western Ajaccio Amirauté features an exceptional location: facing the sea, it is close to the center of town, the port and the airport.
Score from 925 reviews Very good
San Carlu is in the heart of Ajaccio's old quarter, next to a 15th-century fortress and 165 ft from the Saint François beach. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
Score from 259 reviews Very good
The Hôtel Fesch is in the center of Ajaccio, just a 5-minute walk from the ferry port and just over a quarter mile from the beach. It offers guest rooms with free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 321 reviews Good
parking nearby 6e charge per night or free parking up street near park, nice to walk along main st to port, very quiet.
very warm and professional staff at the reception.
Compared to the other hotels in Ajaccio it is cheaper (hotels in Ajaccio are crazy expensive) but the structure is old, renewed just in some areas and the cleanliness of the moquette in the common floor and the bath tube was very poor.
Nice view of the starlit sky from the 6th floor back-facing room. Hotel parking, and luckily no carpet in the room.
The room that we were originally given was smelly (stale tobacco) and grubby. Thankfully, the receptionist gave us another, much better room after we complained.
Location and cost
Noise from furniture being moved by other occupants upstairs
It is a very nice hotel with large rooms with bathtubs.
The only downside was that housekeeping started every morning around 8:30am, and they were incredibly noisy -- slamming doors nonstop.
Friendly staff. Good location, Quiet in the room.
- bugs in bed - Smelly - Old - terrible bathroom ( very old) - noise from the street
The location, reasonable price for central Ajaccio. Friendly staff
Bad sound insulation Bath room felt quite worn Hotel in general need of renevation
there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, english speaking reception, by walk about 10 minutes to the centre, cleanliness ok, cheapest option for Ajaccio in chosen dates and still in the city.
20 minutes from the train station, too expensive breakfast (so did not used)
Location was good, quite central but if you arrive with the ferry, it's upphill all the way so a bit difficult to walk with a lot of baggage. Quite big rooms, OK beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cockroaches in the hotel lobby and our room. We had a "fake tile" in our bathroom on the tub which fel off all of the time, it didn't look very fresh on the inside of it.... Balcony was very narrow and not well cleaned. A bit of a strange smell in the entire hotel. We didn't arrive by car but we noticed that the hotel parking was full basically all the time, so if one plan to bring the car do not expect to be able to park close to the hotel. Compared to other hotels we've stayed at Corsica this had the definitely lowest standard in regards to the prices. Not worth the money in our opinion!
Not clinging!! Small room ,small bad!!the bathroom I personally didn'tlike this place at all!!!!!!!
Wifi was not working at all
Much less than we could even imagine
Expensive breakfast, 12 euros. 10-15 min walk to the center. Some of the staff (a middle aged men) were very rude. Old keys not any cards.
Staff is kind.
We booked this hotel because booking.com said there was an airport shuttle. There is no airport shuttle.
Bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. The shower is terrible. The hotel and the bedroom have an old appearance and I'd not say it's a three star hotel. The morning staff is really rude also.
The location was good, 10 min walk from the center. They hold our luggage until the room was reaady and the staff was friendly
The hotel itself and the room were nice and the location was good.
The staff seemed quite put-off to discuss anything with us, whether it was the room prices or the lack of wifi for our stay. They gave the impression that they couldn't be bothered. It won't be our favorite hotel from our stay in Corsica- disappointing in terms of staff and service but fine by all other counts.
Very good location, we had a view of the sea from the 7th floor. The staff was very helpful - we asked per email for a baby cot and it was set up even before we arrived.
Breakfast for 12 EUR is slightly expensive and not included.
