Staff was very friendly and helpful. All three people we dealt with were of the highest professional caliber. Also, close to #4 metro line. Elevator was small, rooms were small and only of average cleanliness. |

Easy access to public transport and cleanliness I did not like the carpet. I would be happy if it could be replaced with tiles. Communication facilities, internet, tv and phone require some attention. |

Location was convenient to 2 different metro lines. Close to many services useful to budget travelers: grocery store, bakery, coffee shops. Short walk to Montparnasse theater district where the are many restaurants and bistro/cafes without the high price and crowding of other tourist areas. Room was supposed to be non-smoking, but entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. No staff on duty at counter at late hours (after ~11pm) and hotel front doors did not require keycard entry or other applicable security. Very thin walls. |

Decent location, accessible by metro, lively neighbourhood (people still out at 11pm), a lot of shops on the same street (from supermarket to clothes to antiques). Cleanliness of the room -the bed cover was rather dirty (not the sheets), but the towels were changed daily; the bathroom curtain was also dirty. |

Saw many of the Parisian monuments, experienced the culture, and enjoyed the food. First, their attitude was terrible. When we arrived, my flight was delayed, so I did not check in on the anticipated date. The front desk clerk told me that I would be charged for this date anyway, in a nonchalant, arrogant manner. Second, the bathroom was filthy, there was a ring of mold around the shower curtain, and a lot of mildew. Third, we requested more towels, and it took the staff 5 hours to bring them up. Terrible. |

Hotel is conveniently located abour 300 meter from Metro M4 Alesia. A supermarket is located near the hotel, and between Metro and hotel. We get a roon with twin bed having one extra bed that was good for my daughter. They charged only 53 euro from saturady to monday, that was a bit surprise. A room at street side that I had was a bit noisy at early in the morning by car running, but my wife and daugher did not notice and slept OK. |

Near metro stations, the breakfast is acceptable with the price, the covers of beds are clean the receptions help you kindly in order to have a good visit of Paris. The room carpet is not clean; you are not able to find enough breakfast if you get up a little late. The room is very small. |

The place was friendly, clean, and the room a decent size (bearing in mind this is Paris, not Palm Springs). My room faced an inner courtyard garden with lots of greenery, and was nice & quiet. There was a decent shower with lots of hot water, plenty of clean towels & the bed was comfy. What more can you ask for for 49 Euros a night? The neighbourhood is also nice, a residential area away from the tour group crowds in the city centre, but well-connected and a nice area to explore in itself (a taste of normal life, away from the tourist stalls). I didn't eat beakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. This hotel is not right in the centre of Paris (check a map!), but it is close to two metro lines, and only a 15 minute cycle ride from Notre Dame (there are two velib points nearby). This is no 5-star luxury, but for the price I payed, I really have nothing bad to say about the place - it turned out more pleasant than I had expected. |

The room is comfortable and clean. For a visiting trip and staying at the hotel just in the evening to rest it is really convenient for the value for money. It is 10 minutes walk to the metro station, there are 2 super markets around the area and a pharmacy so the position is great. I disliked the dirty curtain of the bathroom tub, but maybe it was just a miss-luck that we got that room. |

The location was OK, near 2 importante Metro lines Be careful with the breakfast time. They have their watch advanced 10 minutes and a few people couldn't have the breakfast although they were before 10pm (in real time, not their time...) |

We found a really good deal with bookin.com , and even the breakfast was included in the price we paid for the room. We stayed two nights in the hotel and we really enjoyed our time there. We really liked the hotel because of a number of reasons: the location was very good for us. We didn't want to stay in a very touristy area, and this one was perfect as it was a residential area where we could be in the "real" Paris. We had a nice room in the 7th floor and had good views of the Montparnasse and the Eiffel Tower in the distance (beautiful at night with the laser lights!). The hotel is situated in a busy road and it's true that there is quite a lot of noise if the windows were open, but for "not fussy" travellers this can be solved with the earplugs they give you for free in the plane. After all, we were in Paris, not in the middle of the countryside, so we knew there would be some noise. We found that the breakfast was quite good, very French, with croissants, cheese, ham and things like that, so don't expect an American or English breakfast because you are in Paris. And reading from some of the complaints of previous customers, yes, there is not kettle in the room, and people seems to keep forgetting that they weren't in a English hotel and that they were in Paris. Also, it was very nice to arrive to the room after a long day sightseeing and found the room clean with fresh towels, which in some small budget hotels is not offered. We could tell that the room had indeed been recently renovated and it was good in general, except for the carpet which was a bit stained and the shower curtain, which was a bit moldy. And we weren't very hot in the room because the weather was mild when we stayed but I can see that it could be very hot because there is no air-conditioning in the room. Also it's true that the elevator as kind of small and slow, but it was a good chance to chat a bit in French with other guests! |

The hotel is located in a very nice residential part of Paris. The staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks fluent English (not typical of Paris hotels in general). The breakfast is the basic self-serve continental breakfast, and I was not impressed by their croissants, but at least you can pour your own coffee. My room was facing the street, which meant that I could not open the window. With the window closed, the room was too warm (summer). Even with the window closed, the street noises were audible. All in all, I could not sleep very well there... Also, the bathroom has the kind of shower that does not attach to the wall, which made it difficult to wash my hair. |

The staff was very helpful when we had problems with the booking, since they did not have a record of it. The beds were not remotely comfortable, and the wall were paper thin. You could here clear conversations of other people in other rooms. Their elevator was also too small to hold one adult with suitcases. It was also advertised to be within an easy walking distance of the Gare Montparnasse, but that was very untrue!! It was quite a distance, especially when you have baggage. |
