Unwelcoming, unhelpful, uni-lingual staff. Wireless here is 22 euros for the cheap rate. The hotel is currently being renovated. The rooms are very small and pretty with a very functional bath shower arrangement. There are good towels. Sheets and a very comfy bed too. Small closet for clothes too. First impressions are very important and at this small hotel the reception staff are curt, very unhelpful as if it would be a shock to provide anything other than a key, and very ill natured. When I asked if they had an adapter for my computer the receptionist made a big fuss about how difficult the clients were – no one else was in sight and she wouldn't help. Another staff member who appeared to be the cleaning lady went to search but could find anything all while the receptionist was sighing and grumbling.

It was clean and secure. The door closers were very fierce so that guests (or staff) entering or leaving rooms often let the door slam loudly - at all hours !!!! The tv did not have any language options. All programmes were in French.

I enjoyed the location. It was very convenient. The staff was very friendly. I arrived early and they gave me my room ahead of check in time. My boyfriend and I also bought champagne and they stored it in a freezer for us (because we could not find ice). There are plenty of shops, cafe's and a grocery near by, so we went to the store to buy snacks. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. It is a great hotel in Paris for the price.

I suppose it was ok for the money (Paris is expensive in general). The rooms are small and I guess fairly clean. I´m just a really picky person when it comes to cleanliness. The rooms have carpet in which I didn´t like at all. I normally don´t stay at hotels that have carpet cuz you really don't know if the floors are really clean. Location was the best thing about the hotel. Reception needs to be a bit more alive?... no personality at all..? not very welcoming. I´ve stayed at way better hotels for less money.. but as I said before.. Paris is expensive. Reception could be a bit more welcoming.

I had a single room in third floor,a very clean and comfortable hotel, expensive compared to hotel's in other European countries but fair enough compared to hotel's in paris. close to two metro stations which makes transportation easy and fast. The Wifi works very well in the room. The area was safe as well. not very much close to city center , but you can get there in a reasonable time since there are two metro stations nearby. The walls were so thin that I could here people walking in the room next to me,but I had an interview and I was a bit nervous maybe it was not a big deal in a normal situation! breakfast was good but 9 euros was bit expensive!

even the room was very tiny (for 1 person), it was clean and the bathroom had a good sized shower. Hotel personnel was not profesional (not all of them, but the one who welcomed me was definitely rude), I was woken up on Sunday night at around 4 in the morning by loud speeking neighbours, which was not pleasant at all.

Great Location... Rooms are smaller, but then its Paris and very good location so its good enough. Eiffel tower to hotel taxi costs approx 12 - 15 Euros. All in all, if they can make there customer desk more friendly, its 10 on 10 for me. One night we had an issue of water work so no water... Worst part they knew about it since afternoon but only informed us at midnight. As consolation they gave us 20% discount. The receptionist in afternoon was not too helpful. Evening guys were really helpful.

I live in the hotel for 4 days for visit Paris. I choose this hotel the reasons are the price and the location. The location is safe, as you may know Paris is not a very safe city in some zone. But this zone is definitely safe. Two subway station are around this hotel about 800 meter each. Hotel is quite big scale so the services and facilities are guaranteed. Services is good, cleanning room everyday, facilities is clean and look like new. The matress is very comfortable, not so hard not so soft ! 240 euro for 4 days is a little bit expensive for me, but it is a reasonable price in Paris for what the hotel provide. I would recommand this hotel. Location is at the sounth of Paris, just a little bit far away from the center.

The rooms were all new and redecorated (except ceiling) so it was a surprise to find high standard for that price.... Is a bit weird they ask you for the key if you go out, nowadays... Also the guy asked me twice if I had breakfast, I think he thought I was lying when I said no!

The hotel was overall a good choice. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities one would need for a comfortable trip. The hotel staff were more than helpful and even stored our luggage for the day after we checked out of the hotel. My boyfriend, who does not speak French, arrived early and they spoke English well and were very polite to him. Also, we had two separate reservations: one from the 7-9 and another from the 9th to the 10th which the hotel combined for us so that we would not have to switch rooms. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to important metro lines and lots of restaurants and bakeries. Overall, it is a hotel I would visit again but I would not pay more than 80 or 90 euros for a room. The hotel was under construction while we were visiting so if you happened to be in your room at the wrong time it was extremely loud. (Although the hotel was very good about stopping and starting construction at reasonable hours) Also, the doors are not soundproof at all and we were often awaken early in the morning by maids screaming at each other across the hall. Two mornings a maid's cell phone went off next to our door and it took her several minutes to come silence it each time. Finally, since it is a relatively small hotel, they only have one room key which means you must leave your room key with the front desk every time you leave the building.

The location was good, the room was clean and confortable, the staff was friendly and was always trying to help. Being in Paris there was no problem speaking in english or spanish with the staff. There was a strange smell in the rug, beside that small detail there is nothing to complain

Great price for a clean nice looking hotel in a convenient location - close to subway and close to the main Montparnasse railway station. Very helpful and friendly staff. We found the bed a little hard but overall it was an excellent stay.
