We enjoyed this hotel which has been refurbished 2 years ago. Very modern and I loved the design. Very quiet room. Lovely garden that we couldn't enjoy as it was winter but we plan to come back in the summer!
functional, good value
Location was good and easily accessible Beds were comfortable
Nothing bad but accepting that Paris rooms will always be smaller and more expensive than other cities.
The room was classically French. Clean, small but efficient. Location was excellent. A very cool part of Paris. The staff was wonderfully gracious and helpful. For the money it's a great hotel. I would definitly return.
The wifi was terrible. Sporatic, weak and kept dropping from my phone. I was able to do business from my laptop.
Excellent location Friendly staff Nice rooms
Wifi doesn't work on 4th floor A lot of noise in the morning when everyone (mostly families with very active kids) wakes up
The room, location, Wifi clean
staff a bit rude
From an economic point of view we were very disappointed: as we forgot to book for our child, we asked the hotel to switch from a double to a triple room. The hotel refused to apply the on-line booking.com tariff for the triple room and took profit asking us for a +70% price. Next time we'll choose another hotel.
I asked how long it would take to get to Charles de Gaulle airport by taxi from the hotel. I was told, 'it's as far as it is far'!!!
Staff would not booka taxi when called from the room - you had to go to reception. I asked for another night when I checked in - was told it was OK, and then found all my stuff had been moved to the storage room without my knowledge, and the only room now available was far more money.
Staff were extremely rude & unhelpful.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. Contemporary re-furbishment. Helpful, polite staff. Great location near to metro & excellent restaurants.
Very good and clean and staff were very friendly
There was a mouse in the reception when we first got to the hotel but after that cleanliness was outstanding
Location is great. right beside the Metro. The place is quite and clean. The front desk staff is friendly.
wifi is super slow and inconsistent. no coffee maker in the room and need more shelves and hooks in the bath room.
Owner asks for key whenever we leave. After midnight it is harder to come back in, door is locked and we need to ring the bell and hope someone answers. We hear loudly noises from other rooms like if it was wooden walls. Non-biodegradable products are used for cleaning. Bathroom toilet equipment was failing, and upon telling this to the owner he said that this room often has this problem. Well if it always has this problem, hire someone to fix it for good ! Would not go back.
Comfortable bed, sufficiently large bathroom, courtesy and good competence of the receptionists, two steps away from the metro station. Remarcable the little welcome and good year gifts (macarons, praline) .
Very small room with no hall stand, only one suitcase stand, one chair and a very thin wardrobe (with the space for only 2 coats). The access of the room (601) was outside, in the courtyard.
Friendly staff (e.g. Printouts were given when we missed a few, which was very useful) 2 min walk from Oberkempf metro. Good eating joints nearby
No tea making facility in the room.
In Paris for new year. Hotel right next to metro & square with lots of good restaurants.
Breakfast not great & would not recommend
The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us save time getting back to the train station by letting us know that the bus (and which number and where to catch it) would be much quicker than the Metro.
Location was just outside metro station
Parking was not free of charge. As we book family rooms we get two single bed which was not expected Parking also very small I have to come out from windows after park my car
Location friendly staff nice room (suite) good shower cleanness
This hotel claims parking is nearby. It is a 5 to 10 minute drive and a 5 to 10 minute walk back with bags. Not reasonable to say parking is close. dont come with a car!!
room is well decorated and story is high, near to the tube station
shuttle car didn't take us to the airport at the estimate time. nearly miss the fighlt
1) location 2) some of the staff were really nice, one even gave me his personall umbrella when I needed it. 3) nice courtyard. it was raining and we never had time, but in the summer i guess it's a nice place to take breakfast/coffee.
1) my colleague and me, each reserved double room with king size bed, but got twin! when i asked to change, the 1st receptionist said 'come tomorrow when my manager is here' but tomorrow, not sure it was a manager, the guy looked at me through his glasses carefully 'how many you are in the room?' 'only me' I answered. 'Sorry all the rooms with big bed already taken'. I gave up. 2) every day I was putting 'do not disturb' sign while leaving just to discover on my return that the room was made. when I asked the cleaning lady why she storms if there is a clear prière de ne pas déranger, she asked me 'there was anybody in the room?' I told the same glasses man that I do not want that anybody enters my room while I am away (I have a sad experiance with stealing in Paris hotels, tried to eliminate mere possibility here), but only when I mentioned police was my demand finally met. conversation was very unpleasant. 3) ZERO wifi in my room on the fifth floor. You go down to reception and tell them - but in the reception area it works therefore you can't prove there is prob in the room, they look and say: see? it works? Yes, but not in my room! Ended up using 3G with my travel sim card. 4) breakfast is poor for 13 euros, we were eating outside. 5) we checked out at 10:30 but needed to store the bags till 3-4pm. They said OK no prob! When we returned, we found half of our bags unattended in the courtyard.
I think his name is Mourad. Great host. Speaks perfect English and is very kind. Rooms are very cute. Love the bathroom. Instant hot water and high pressure. Very important for someone like my wife myself who loves to shower.
Wifi is very slow.
the excellent location, and staff are helpful
highly priced compared to room quality, very small size, no table to set or do some computer work, no facilities (i.e. no small fridge to store some food or drinks, no kettle to drink tea, of-course no microwave...etc.), if you need to eat in the room (you have to do it in the bed), if you have a 30k type of bag, you will be in trouble. wi-fi is fair.
