A L'hôtel  

It was very near esc Pau where my daughter spent 4 months of study. We went to Pau to pick up our daughter and to see her school campus as well. We all came from the Philippines. The location of a L'Hotel was very convenient. While booked there we were able to visit Lourdes and then proceed to Barcelona Spain. It was also very near Le Clerc supermarket where we were able to buy cheap food and even some clothes and extra luggage.

LThe only downside was when we arrived at 4pm on September 18 and there was no one on the reception desk. We had to drag our heavy luggages all the way to our daughter's dormitory and then walk back by 6 pm under the drizzling rains. The receptionist also cannot speak English but it was okay. We were able to check in and out without any problem.

Convenient due to attending the University of Pau, too far to walk into town everyday as a visitor to Pau. However, sole purpose was the university so location was ideal! I stayed there whilst looking for accommodation which I would recommend to others in this situation. Good regular bus route to town!

Very friendly and funny receptionist. Amazing how important a warm welcome is when you have driven hundreds of klms and are exhausted. Room was small but clean. WiFi worked and although it had one of those plastic bathrooms you were not sharing it with anyone else, like some of the other budget hotels, and that was a real plus. Plenty of hot water and a comfy bed. There was also a restaurant next door if you wanted a meal, which was a mexican, but Pau was only a few minutes away for a bigger selection of eateries, and it was a beautiful town, with a nice feel to it. Best real budget type hotel we have stayed in.

Salle de bain un peu petite ménage trop rapidement fait (trouvé un mascara ,un masque de nuit,de la poussière sur la tete de lit ,derrière la télé,sur l'armoire et à l'aspiration de la vmc) isolation phonique faible travaux exterieurs ,cela sera donc mieux la prochaine fois car il y aura une prochaine fois

Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Chambre propre, télé, baignoire. Tres bien pour un soir ou deux !!

Il n'y a pas grand chose à reprocher, hormis peut être la qualité du petit dejeuner mais à 6euros50 cela reste convenable et compréhensible

Le pré accueil, la réponse personnalisée au mail envoyé avant mon arrivée, la qualité du personnel souriant efficace, le petit-déjeuner équilibré
