A very friendly family run hotel

Staff were very friendly and helpful, particulary in advising us where to eat. Room comfortable and quiet, location amazing, 5 minutes from cathedral and parking for our quite large car no problem on site.We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Alive Hotel is in an excellent location. It's easy to walk to all the major attractions. The front desk staff was not only super friendly and attentive, but offered suggestions for places to eat. For a 2 star hotel, its at the top of its game. Its nothing fancy and the rooms are small but it was clean, which can be a crap shoot at a budget hotel. Overall its a decent place to stay for a short stay.

This was our second stay at this hotel, last year they were carrying out refurbishment works. This year we stayed in one of the upgraded rooms and they have made a very tasteful job, Well decorated and equiped. Would and have recommended to others.

The Shower unit could be improved with a little more light.

The location was great a few miniutes walk from the old part of the city.The staff were great they could not have been more helpfull. They provided a map showed the places to see and various restaurants. Rouen is a difficult place to park and it was usefull having a car park at the hotel. The hotel was an older style hotel with fairly small rooms but was ideal for our stay. We will stay there again the next time we are in Rouen.

Having folding door which did not fully close for en suite not really acceptable.

The location in the heart of downtown Rouen was fantastic, and it was so easy to find. I came off the a main highway into town, was just getting anxious about how I would find it when voila! There was an eye-level sign indicating the turn and I was there. Parking too. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room was clean and the price was good. What else would you want?

The hotel proprieter was most helpful in explaining the best sites to see. And where to eat. The parking for my motor cycle was very safe behind locked gates.The hotel is central to the old city. An ideal location. I would stay there again. David Stephenson

Location was a big advantage wihin walking distance of city centre and market area. Secure car park was useful. Staff very friendly and helpful.
