Functional hotel on the edge of Macon's charming centre and near the railway station. Easy walk to the riverside restaurants and views. Room was comfortable although the double bed was small. Free Wi-Fi worked easily. Nice secluded garden. Buffet breakfast was a bit chaotic - I arrived at about 8.30 and a number of food and cutlery / ctockery items had run out and the staff was not on top of it. Cafe au lait from the machine was foul. Burger for dinner was good but the french fries were stale and had clearly been sitting in a warmer for a long time. A better bet to go to one of the brasseries by the river. |

The Hotel its self was fine, very modern in design. Only one good member of staff which was the receptionist on Sunday morning called Patrica. The price of €60 was ok but I would not have paid the rack rate of €120 The Restaurant service was very poor the waiter made you feel you were inconveinencing him by asking to be served. |

A solid chain hotel - the pool was nice if a touch cold! We had a very small room - flat on the bed or standing were the only options! |

The hotel is at walking distance from all major tourist attractions in Avignon. Although it is situated on a very busy road, the room is well insulated: with the windows closed you don't hear the road. The rooms are roomy and clean. The parking under the hotel grants immediate access to the hotel and is guarded. The service is extremely slow. One person had to manage the reception desk and the bar next to it. We were lucky to have paid nearly half of the regular price. That price offers good value for money. The regular price (€ 250 per room and per night) is too high. For me this was more a three star than a four star hotel. |

The hotel is directly across from the train station, my priority. In addition, it is a great hotel. The room was large and comfortable, with a small reading room. The bathroom was large. The staff allowed us to lock our luggage there after checkout. The city of Macon does not have much to offer tourists, but it was easy to get to Cluny Abbey, my main interest there. The so-called internet access was not as expected. There are so many folters on the computer that I could not even check my e-mail. It is set up with a search engine for children only. |

Des petits services complémentaires agréables pour un 2* (Journaux disponibles, oranges à presser au PDJ,..) La rénovation est assez réussie dans l'ensemble. Dommage toutefois que celle-ci n'ait pas été réalisée totalement dans la douche. |

Sauberkeit, nahe beim Bahnhof, ruhig, Frühstück gut, kleines Zimmer aber gut durchdacht Personal versteht teilweise gar kein Englisch, nur Französisch, Internet schaltet sich nach wenigen Minuten immer wieder von selbst aus sodass man nicht dort arbeiten kann |

Die Angestellten waren alle sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Aufenthalt war dadurch sehr angenehm. Vom W-Lan-Angebot konnte ich leider nicht profitieren; würde das aber bei einem späteren Besuch sehr schätzen. Die Auswahl an Fernsehstationen war etwas gering. Gewöhnungsbedürftig an meinem Zimmer war, dass es keinen eigentlichen Kleiderschrank gibt; bei einem Kurzaufenthalt ist das aber auch nicht tragisch. |

Hotel liegt günstig zum Zentrum. Und hat eine eigene Garage. Hotel liegt an einer belebten Straßenkreuzung. Man sollte versuchen, ein Zimmer zum Garten in zu bekommen. Parken außerhalb der Hoteleigenen Garage problematisch. Und die Einfahrt zur Garage wie auch die Garage selbst ist sehr eng. Echte Maßarbeit, wenn man mit einem großen Wagen unterwegs ist. |

La décoration de l'hotel, moderne et colorée. Les équipements nécessaires sont tous là. Accueil 24h/24. Le personnel parle anglais, ce qui est pratique si vous avez de la compagnie non francophone. Pas facile de se garer dans le coin, une fois passé l'hotel il faut faire un grand tour pour revenir... Macon est ainsi faite... |
