1. Location 2. Very comfortable bed, not too soft nor too hard 3. The staffs are friendly, one of them was always trying to remember everyone's name to handle over the right key to you when u get back 4. Most of the necessay things you can find in your room (but most of the hotels in Paris is about the same) 5. The speed of wifi is good 6. The hotel's own website looks very good 1. Not really very clean because of the blanket, as the maid cannot wash blanket everyday, I can even find hair on it, both men's and women's 2. The wifi signal need to be improved, room 3 doesn't have signal even it is in the ground floor 3. Because the reception is very close to room 1, 2 and 3, you cannot have long time conversation with ur friend there 4. The sound deadening is not good in the room, i was waked up the second morning not by my phone but by the ring and the following concersation from next door 5. Room is quite small and old but it is like most of the hotels in Paris

I thoroughly enjoyed the customer service, both before our arrival and during, and loved the room and how it included a little closet, a full bathroom (with a tub!), a little desk/mirror area, and a double size bed with clean sheets. The location of the hotel was the best part. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our window, were a stone's throw away from the Metro, and were surrounded by bakeries and restaurants. The hotel also offered transportation to the airport which made our check-out very convenient. I wish they had transportation from the airport, but I can see how it could be a logistical nightmare.

Great location near the Eiffel Tower and close to Metro and train. Lots of restaurants, fruit stands and small grocery stores nearby. Safe neighborhood. Free internet. The breakfast was 7 Euros and was adequate.Lots of hot water. Room was small but by European standards probably a little bigger with a full bathroom. They do not have parking but can refer you.Like all hotels we stayed in, there are no screens on the window and due to very nice weather for October, mosquitos were prevalent in several places including thr Alma. I would stay there again, but bring insecticide.

The Alma was in a great location. Very close to the Eiffle Tower and the Invalides. We had wonderful bakeries and grochery stores very close as well. The females that worked the front desk were extremely nice and helpful and our room was always made up and clean. Our room had a fan that we needed since it was very warm and the hotel had no ac. Our room was very small, the pictures on the website are very misleading. There was one gentleman that worked the desk at night who was very unfriendly and not helpful. It seemed as though he didn't wish to be there and when we asked something we were interrupting him. We also couldn't leave our curtains open at night because the hotel sign was right by our window and would shine in on us aswell there was a light on the building across from us that did the same.

It was 2 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower! When we arrived the bedding was stained and the pillows were smelly. The linen and the blanket available were too thin, poor quality, and there was really nothing warm to cover ourselves with, luckily I took plenty of layers which I shared with my husband!. It took me ages to fall asleep. Watch out for the pictures on the website, definitely misleading!!

Staff was helpful, not rude. Free wifi. I was not told the airport shuttle has to be booked the day before. It would be better to let travelers know when they checked in.

At least one "day shift" staff was nice cos she allowed us to print out our online checkin flight boarding passes. The other "night shift" staffs especially one Indian and another older guy were not helpful and told us to use the computer and printer at the nearest cybercafe!! Also, the first day we checked in, the night shift guy gave us the wrong direction to walk to Eiffel Tower where we actually walked a bigger round. We discovered that it was much nearer by walking towards another route ourselves. Same as above - overall nothing great to compliment. We were basically mostly annoyed by the night shift staffs as they were unhelpful.

Location only. The room is too small, the bed is very bad full of springs excerting uncomfort on you back. The breakfast is too basic with cleaning staffs attending the dining room, without proper training. The hotel lack proffessional staff, apart from the lady in the morning reception the rest need good training for hotel services. The hotel location is good but reuined by the very poor and shoe-string budget despite its expensive rate of nearly £100 a nigth for b/b the inside is not happy environment at all, I wont go there again and wont recommend it for a friend. Thanks

Location No clarity on what is included or excluded in the price of this hotel, for example, inclusion/exclusion of breakfast in the price and how and why it is listed as a separate charge or having a small fridge in the room which is charged as separate obligatory charge?Nor the relevance and/or validity of the room itemized information placed on the backdoor of the room discovered after the fact? Neither explanation nor direction is given on who is responsible for promptly addressing incidents and complaints against 'staff' conduct which we lodged during our stay. Smoking is allowed in the garden area inside the building adjacent to the windows of a non-smoking room where second hand smoke penetrates the room at all hours of the day and night.
