We enjoyed our stay at the hotel so much that we came back and stayed another night on our way home When we went to our room on the second night it had not been cleaned properly but the staff were very good and changed our room immediately, the reason given was that it was off season |

It was very central to the town and easy to find, which suited our purpose, as we were in transit. Although we were aware that we paid standard budget price, the room was small, and the corridor of our floor(6) felt tired, as did the bathroom. We expect there were other rooms which were better. Not a complaint, merely a statement of our impressions. |

During my stay at the Hotel Alpina, I liked the food and the panoramic view of the Mont Blanc, from the hotel's restaurant and rooms. The noise in the room (6th floor) from the above restaurant (7th floor), after 10 o'clock at night. |

We could see Mont Blanc from the window - great view. booking.com said we could have an extra bed in the room, but we could only have a bed for a small child (OK in our case, but it should not be promised on the booking page) |

The views of the Boissons glacier are totally outstanding. Those of Brevent ( which our room looked onto ) are dull by comparison but still worthwhile. |

The rooms were large and the highlight was the balcony overlooking Mont Blanc and the township of Chamonix. The furnishings were dated and old - but considering the price this was not a major concern |

The location was convenient, and the views were nice. Also, the staff's English was perfect. I was really looking forward to having the buffet dinner at the hotel's restaurant but for some reason, it was closed that evening.... |
